How long did it take you to conceive?

I'm only on my second cycle but my big head and maybe even naive self thought I would get pregnant on my first cycle. Everyone around me and my husband have gotten pregnant on the first cycle which makes you think that getting pregnant is easy but I've come to find out that it isn't even if you do everything right. I don't want to offend anyone who has had it way harder than I have when trying to conceive. I guess I'm in a bit of a rush as I took a bit of a career break to have a baby since the next 3 years required my full commitment with no breaks in between for me to become qualified. So I was just wondering how long it took others to conceive?

1st - happy accident
2nd - 3rd cycle

the only thing I feel I did different on cycle 3 was I chilled out! Booked a few days off work and did everything that I enjoy! Went out for breakfast, walked around our village shops, ate snacks and watching Netflix. Just so happens those days fell on the day I implanted!

First cycle and then miscarried

it’s been 18 months now with two more miscarriages in that time, we’ve probably tried for 2/3s of the cycles in that period.

I'm always an outlier on these threads. 13 years, unexplained infertility, then an unexpected natural pregnancy 7 years after giving up all thoughts of babies. I was 38 the day after DS was born.
