@bringmearainbow Eek amazing, you're so close ❤️. I'm good thank you, my OH had a sperm analysis done a few weeks ago and had good results:

61% progressively moving, 40% rapid 21% slow so well over the 40% they look for.
78million per ml sperm count and they look for 39 million
3% morphology, they look for 4% but they aren't worried as he has a good count etc.

One less thing to worry about and he's back taking his vitamins now so hopefully that helps to improve even more x

TheBirdintheCave · 15/12/2023 14:06

@bringmearainbow Amazing! 😬😬 You're so close to twelve weeks now! I had a scan at 10+5 too and it's crazy how much they look like a baby at that point. It must have been such an amazing thing to see 🥰

Ahhhh I'm just still so thrilled for you!

@curliegirlie I'm sorry :( It all just sucks so hard. I'm still holding on for your miracle.

ExMrsGrealish · 15/12/2023 18:50

@bringmearainbow ❤️ so made up for you! xxxx

curliegirlie · 25/12/2023 12:51

Merry Christmas POAS family, may the rainbows be enjoying their first Christmasses! And hope that all you preggos have hit the stage of being able to enjoy your bumps and having a worry free Christmas!

I think ovulation day is actually today for me 🤪 but not holding too much hope for a Christmas miracle...that would be a bit too perfect. But generally just enjoying having the Christmas holidays off and being able to have a bit of relaxed time 😁🎄

TheBirdintheCave · 25/12/2023 16:05

@curliegirlie Still have everything crossed for you :)

Merry Christmas everyone! 20 weeks today for me. Husband and I just cooked dinner for nine people 😂

bringmearainbow · 25/12/2023 20:18

@bringmearainbow YES you're past twelve weeks! 😬

bringmearainbow · 26/12/2023 07:35

@TheBirdintheCave I'm trying not to get excited I've been burned at the 12 week scan before but my belly has def popped out so somethings growing in there 🙊🤞🏼my nausea has eased off the last couple of days which gives me the heebies it was like a safety blanket 😂 can't believe you're 20 weeks have you had your anatomy scan yet?

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 26/12/2023 13:16

@bringmearainbow Yup! On the 22nd. All was good with baby but I have a low lying placenta so that will need extra monitoring 🙄 Still, lots more baby scans so I'm not complaining too much 😅

It's so exciting when the bump appears! 🥰 I can't wait to hear about your scan! I know what you mean about the sickness. Mine seemed to come and go around 12 weeks and then disappeared at 13.

LuckyMoonstone · 26/12/2023 16:29

Merry Christmas to you all, hope you all had lovely days yesterday ❤️

@TheBirdintheCave Woop half way already! My placenta was low lying at my 20 week scan but then it had moved a couple of weeks later, hopefully does the same for you

bringmearainbow · 26/12/2023 17:24

@TheBirdintheCave ahhh that's amazing and yes never say no to more scans 😂 are they hoping it will move out from over your cervix or does it not look likely to happen? did you find out what you were having? I seem to remember my sickness with DS went around 13 weeks so it's getting to be the right time it's def difficult to hide now so I will have to tell work when I get back as I just can't be bothered to hide it anymore it takes way too much effort 🙈

TheBirdintheCave · 27/12/2023 18:07

@LuckyMoonstone That's good to know!

@bringmearainbow They said 9/10 move by the end of the pregnancy so hopefully I'm in the majority. And nope we kept it a surprise. Likely another boy though as I want a girl so will get the opposite 🙄

calimc83 · 27/12/2023 20:30

Merry Christmas 🎄 ladies! Omg @TheBirdintheCave I can't believe you are 20 weeks already...and @bringmearainbow you're 12! I feel like that's flying by. Speaking of flying by my Mat leave comes to and end next week! I can't believe it's over already 😭xx

TheBirdintheCave · 28/12/2023 08:31

@calimc83 It's gone slow and fast for me at the same time 😂 I can't believe your maternity leave is over! 😱

bringmearainbow · 28/12/2023 15:27

Seems we both either finally lucked out or found the magic combination of medicines that let us keep hold of babies 🤗

MrsJGrealish · 28/12/2023 23:27

@TheBirdintheCave @bringmearainbow congratulations ladies!!!

curliegirlie · 08/01/2024 12:50

So lovely to read about all those happy scans!

CD2 for me ☹️ so now I'm at do I/don't I this month? At what point does it become too silly??

I know it's stupid to compare with other people but off the top of my head I know sooo many people who managed it around their early 40s: my mum had a happy accident at 43, my Gran had her at 41, my Dad's mum must have been in her late 30s when she had my uncle, DH's gran had my MIL in her early 40s, the Ukrainian lady we hosted had her son at 46!! When I had my own happy accident in March 2022, I thought things had just come together on their own for once after two long hard struggles for DD1 & 2...yet here I am nearly 2 years on. Booo.

How are things going for you @MrsJGrealish?

curliegirlie · 08/01/2024 12:51

Happy New Year everyone by the way! 🎉

TheBirdintheCave · 08/01/2024 13:04

Happy New Year! I don't think it's silly to keep trying if that's what you want to do @curliegirlie . Could you perhaps stop actively trying but still use no protection when you dtd and keep going that way? Then if it happens it happens?

MrsJGrealish · 08/01/2024 15:16

@curliegirlie 10 dpo and a bfn. At least it's less depressing than a chemical 🤷‍♀️ I am actually just back from community mental health were I cried about all my miscarriages. Maybe closure? Xx

LuckyMoonstone · 08/01/2024 15:54

@MrsJGrealish oh bless you I hope you’re ok ❤️

TheBirdintheCave · 08/01/2024 16:04

@MrsJGrealish I'm sorry :( I hope the mental health session was useful at least <3
