@babano2 I definitely see a line in the second picture - congratulations!

First image with two tests was last night at 8dpo, second image was this evening at 9dpo

please tell me I’m not seeing things!🥹❤️

Looks positive, congrats! X

@ceruleansky when I had flu in Sept/oct cycle I looked into it and read that's a high fever can kill sperm. And also that when sick the bodiea stress hormone cortisol can prevent ovulation and anything happening. I have a friend who conceived while treating a UTI and was on antibiotics it was accidental as her contraception failed.

I found this thread whilst googling “TWW” last night as I couldn’t sleep and was currently going through my first TWW. I read every post and you are all such a source of comfort, reassurance, strength and knowledge. I wasn’t going to test today, as I’m 10dpo and it’s my first month trying. But I couldn’t wait….

@TooHappyToday wow that's a strong positive, congratulations!

hicketypickety · 15/11/2023 07:45

6dpo today and starting to get obsessive about symptom spotting again. I don't have any so think I'm probably going to be out this month - trying to let myself down gently but there's always that killer grain of hope until AF arrives. It's just so difficult I want to cry. This time last year I was so positive, maybe 2024 will be my year.

Swirls346 · 15/11/2023 08:24

Cycle day 1 for me girls 😩😩 this ttc game is rough.

123456789ss · 15/11/2023 08:55

CD10 for me
I feel like the only person in this thread who didn't get a BFP this month 😝

Took day 2 of CB advanced this morning and got a flashing smiley - I was quite surprised as don't normally get it until later in cycle.
So I took another with an older holder and got O.
Why might they give me different results?
Maybe because it was second urine?
Or do you always get a O the 1st day you take it in your new cycle?

Reading back through this thread I didn't realise how early I've been on here, and how many positive pregnancies it has produced. Fruitful month overall it seems.

On my 2WW I have experienced: Metallic taste in mouth, Tender boobs, nausea, Dizziness, increased thirst + frequent urination, Bloating, clear discharge (more than usual), odd bowel movements and fatigue.

However, I've learned we can actually have all those symptoms in a normal cycle leading up to a period. So I'm monitoring these sensations so if I'm not pregnant - I'll know to ignore them in the next cycle.

Anyway, I'm testing tomorrow morning at circa 12DPO. So the wait is almost over.

Just to update, got a faint positive this AM. Went and bought an early detection test, also looks positive. So I guess this is happening!

No symptoms anymore currently, besides fatigue.

@Outliers
Ahh, yes!!! So happy for you!! Glad that your bug didn't impact your cycle!

@TooHappyToday
Congratulations to you!!

@hicketypickety
6dpo is still early, and maybe not having symptoms is a sign too. Keep your chin up, you're not out yet!

I've been having cramps for the past 5 or so days and I'm 11dpo so I know AF is on the way..

Thank you! Yes that bug knocked, DC and DP out for a few days, so very fortunate in that sense

WishingUponARainbow · 15/11/2023 14:02

@Outliers congratulations! Hope you get some good line progression ✨

When a test holder hasn't been used for longer than 2 days it 'resets' so your first time using it again will always be negative as it uses this as a baseline to identify your peak.

Hope that makes sense and good luck!

123456789ss · 15/11/2023 14:36

Thank you @WishingUponARainbow that makes sense!

ceruleansky · 16/11/2023 04:43

@MixedCouple
Okay.. I guess that helps! Thank you!

It's almost a year since we started ttc but I think I've only ovulated twice this year so I don't know whether to feel hopeful or upset. 🫠

I have one more cycle of Letrozole before my Dr goes in and checks my tubes.
DH is going to ask if he can get another SA done since it's been 3 months since his treatment began and he wants to see if it helped at all in improving his motility.

I took a half day off work, just couldn't deal with everything. 😶‍🌫️

KLK94 · 16/11/2023 07:46

Wow so many BFP in November!

November has been kind to us all. Praying all our little beans stick and grow healthily 😘

@TooHappyToday congrats! Thats a great line for 10DPO. Welcome and happy healthy 9months.
@KLK94 congrats!!!!! Thats such a good line.

I am now 15DPO and my lines are getting darker so feeling more reassured.

@ceruleansky do you BBT? It might be worth doing it as you can see what happens with the hormones. Some find ot stressful. I did it the last 2 cycles and found it beneficial along with OPKs.
Hmm they should automatically recheck levels and do another sperm analysis. So yeah chase that up. Fingers crossed the HSG is beneficial. All the best and pamper yourself. Self care is so important.

@Outliers 12DPO is a good time to test. You were very patient. Comgrats!

@hicketypickety that is why to early. Don't loose hope. My symptoms started around day 7/8. First one was a massive spot right by my nose just below my eye was so painful. I have never had a spot there before. So that got my eyebrow raised. But all my symptoms overall have been mild compared to my normal PMS.

OP posts:
ceruleansky · 16/11/2023 15:09

@MixedCouple
I get a trigger shot every month so my Dr tells us when to dtd.. so I never bothered with opks and bbt..
And I think PCOS messes with the opks plus I think hcg shot also messes with it. I always see 2 defined lines on the opk but they are never super dark..

MixedCouple · 16/11/2023 21:11

@ceruleansky oh yes then OPKs would be useless. But BBT would still be useful. Hopefully it wont be needed. All the best.

hicketypickety · 16/11/2023 22:15

@ceruleansky thank you for your words of encouragement - so sorry to hear you are feeling down, it's such a rough process honestly. I am glad you took some time out.

@MixedCouple thanks, you're right I should keep my chin up it's just been a long and arduous process this time round.

narwhalsarereal · 16/11/2023 22:20

Well 9dpo today.
I could have slept standing upright at work today, I am so tired, it's unusual for me to be this bad.

I had slight cramping at 7dpo & a tiny, v pale pink bit of spotting this morning when I wiped.

Also, my nipples are so sensitive at the moment.

I'm also not very hungry, don't feel sick but just no appetite.

Also keep having dizzy spells.

Keeping fingers & toes crossed for a BFP

MixedCouple · 17/11/2023 06:49

@hicketypickety I know what you mean. I was thinking the same. This month I actually didn't think I ovulated. And just wanted to go to my Drs apt and for the new cycle to begin. I was much more relaxed this time compared to previous cycles.

OP posts:
KLK94 · 17/11/2023 16:09

@MixedCouple same here! I didn’t think I’d ovulated and was also not really paying attention this month, then bam….. spotted once tested 3 days before AF and boom, pregnant. Wtf! Blows my mind

hicketypickety · 17/11/2023 17:02

I've just started spotting, exactly same number of days before my period as last month (AF not due til Tuesday so I very much doubt it'd be implantation). Wish I knew why I've suddenly started spotting for five days before AF.
