Period due today, still testing negative..

Hi everyone, I'm new here but just thought I'd post a quick message for some advice really! (I've never been pregnant or never actively tried to conceive either) but me and my OH had unprotected you know what on 24th Sep (according to my app it was 1 day after my ovulation cycle, but still medium change of getting pregnant) The first week went by and no symptoms, but this week I've had on and off dull cramping, headaches, feeling nauseous on occasion but not actually being sick, being tired or struggling to sleep at all! I just needed to write this as I feel like I'm going mad and I'm eventually going to stress myself out lol. I've done a couple of tests but all negative, I'm due on my AF today but nothing has come so far so I did a test earlier and was negative also! Has anyone been through this? or can shed some light? Maybe my AF will eventually turn up late, but I just have a strange gut feeling something is happening😆Thanks in advance x

Hey! Just come across this thread. I tested last Monday and had the faintest line, I ended up getting a clear blue 6 day early and my positive come up pretty much straight away! I was using easy@home tests at first.
I had a mmc back in July, so right now I’m so anxious about everything. Xx

AF for me has still not shown up. 2 days late according to Flo app but not sure why this is as I believe I was due on the 4th October and my app said that up until yesterday?!

I think I've had a very very faint line on an easy@home but it could well be shadow/line eye.

Waiting on my delivery of FRER today but have to go to work in between. Hoping it arrives whilst I pop home for lunch so I can test and not have to wait until this evening.

As confused as ever...

This morning's symptoms are nausea and feeling super hot, had a hot flush this morning. Also, a tight feeling in my lower stomach.

Still no AF this morning! took 2x tests including FRER and looks like a BFN to me! I’m so confused, had the worst lower back pain last night and have woken up with a slight headache 🙄I just need to know whether I am or not it’s driving me crazy lol x

I don't see anything. Maybe you ovulated late. I'd wait a few days then do a digital.

I so know the feeling. Holding your hand. Don't want to get your hopes up as I also have major line eye going on but the FRER does look like there could be something.

About to do mine now as just finished work 🤞

I can see a smidge of something but as with mine, it's just not enough 😢 do you have a FRER left for tomorrow. That's my plan 🤞

@BuffyMac it really is 😢 I'm just angry at this point! Could have sworn the FRER showed a faint line whilst it was doing its thing but then went away. I'm driving myself insane!

Do you have any symptoms today? (TMI) I'm still having strange, watery like discharge.

@Lilpop90 i did a test yesterday and it was bfn...today my cramps have been bad again so im expecting af anytime now but its just unpredictable as ive been cramping 2 weeks now and i was due on the 4th, i rarely go this late but the last time this happened was in march. af was 6 days late

Cramping for a couple of weeks too!

I looked at my app today and I’ve never actually had a period this late since I started tracking in 2020! 🥺
its such a tease when accompanied with a BFN!

Those symptoms can be PMS and if your Luteal phase is longer then normal you may have ovulated later.
A normal Luteal phase is 10-15days long. Usually average 12-14.

Apps are not good at telling you when you ovulate. As the data is from previous months and it is normal to have variation in length by a few days.

Progesterone is what causes those symptoms for both pregnant and non pregnant women. Once HCG is higher enough you can experience pregnancy synptoms/ or not. But that is usually after 14/15 DPO

Yes very true, apps are only a guide. That’s why I use ovulation tests to streamline.

Usually Ov around day19 of a 28/29 day cycle.
Do wish AF would just arrive so I don’t have to worry about my cycle going haywire ready for trying again next time.

Any news ladies?

Still no AF for me. Had a VVFL today, enough that I could really see it. Breast changes, bloating and sickly.

Still no obvious BFP yet though 🤞😢
