Hi just wandered if anyone wanted to join me on my second 2ww...currently ttc ..have a 16 and 12 yesr old but have a new partner so trying for baby 3 ..he has a 9 year old so not his first...currently on 2nd month of trying ...

Just wandered if anyone is asell..
We're trying preeseed and having sex every other day

@Beccylou94 sorry hun 😞 we will see, out of tests now, AF should of been yesterday no sign yet but was really bloaty yesterday it's a day late for me sometimes so not getting my hopes up

I'd say do what you like, your body. I never listen to my partner with all this @Comet1992

Only have a CB digital do you think it would be accurate or best to buy a sensitive one I've had the most horrendous headache today as well

@Comet1992 if you're 14dpo or more and past AF being due it should show a correct result (barring the test being faulty of course!)

I got some early clear blue pack of 2 will test late tonight and first thing In morning partner have in said to test tonight 😆 wish me luck ladies

Must of been an evap line because it did have colour 😩 AF came this morning as I was about to test again luckily didn't waste it my cycle went from 27-28 to now 31 this month onto cycle 8 I go

Sorry your going through this tests can be so cruel I have had many evaps now and I'm not testing till I'm late anymore 😢well try to....sorry your af came I'm currently in momth I aswell in my fertile week but not tracking anything just going with thw flo and trying to relax

not too bad thank you! it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster recently- went for some fertility tests and it turns out I have a thinner than normal uterine lining and my husband has a low sperm count (not super lower but lower than normal). We’ve been told it’s not impossible to conceive naturally but could take longer, which is heart breaking but sort of takes the pressure off a little.

@MissEmily5 that sounds like you've had a hard time I'm sorry. Keep the fingers crossed for you both. Do you mind if I ask if you went through NHS to have tests? I started this process at the start of December and nothing has really happened only a blood test

@Beccylou94 😆 seems that way I don't seem to count down the days anymore I just have to wait for a full moon and my period arrives weirdly I must be a witch.

@MissEmily5 at least you have some answers it's always best to know I was looking into having a private fertility scan and bloods from ultrasound direct it's only £165 which I though was reasonable I'm worried about my lining and possible scar tissue as I've had 2 c-sections

I've had early ultrasounds there before and they are brilliant that's the next steps for me and checking partners sperm count did you do that privately or through NHS. And what are your periods like if you don't mind me asking mine are quite watery sometimes and don't last very long sometimes 2 days and was wondering if that's a symptom of thin lining

@Beccylou94 thank you for your kind words- it’s been quite overwhelming but all we can keep doing is to keep trying:) we actually went private, a close friend of mine has been trying for over a year and she is less far along than what we are now! It’s about 4 months for her to get an appointment through for the most basic of things and well over a year for the actual start of IVF which is the route she having to go through as her husband has little to no sperm.

@Comet1992 yes, I’m so glad we’ve got answers- the killer for us is the hope, which sounds so desperately sad but I do get obsessed if I think we’re in with a chance. So, at least knowing it’s going to take us quite a while allows me to go about day to day life!
We went private for this- it was £750 for a couples assessment which included; AMH, Rubella, Prolactin, TSH, Internal Ultrasound for me and Sperm analysis, along with a consultation at the end to discuss all the results. We also had repeat tests for the ultrasound for me- thinner than what it should be but much better! My first scan at CD30 was uterine lining was 2.5mm (which is expected after a period- this was a long cycle for me and was the day before I got my period) which no egg can implant, and my second scan was on CD20 and my lining was 5.7mm which is still thin but an egg can implant (should be about 8mm at that stage)- it was great to see that I had ovulated this month for sure, looks like a big splat of paint in the ovary. My periods tend to last 4 days, first two days are medium but not watery and the second two days are a lot lighter and more watery.
The doctor is not sure why my lining is thin as I don’t have any other symptoms/findings that would reflect that- but I’ve started taking raspberry leaf tea before ovulation, vitamin E 100mg, extra vitamin D and 5 Brazil nuts a day- which is all meant to help and of course my supplements too :)

Hey ladies how are you all doing? AF is due tomorrow for me and all tests BFN no surprise 😞due to go into month 9. Me and my partner had a deep talk about it all discussed IVF and options which we are both happy to try if no luck.

You end up feeling like there's something wrong with you... I know 9 months isn't long but it's really deflating. I tell myself to stop overthinking things because I've stopped OPK tracking and then there's that "what if I am" and bam BFN I have 2 amazing kids with a previous partner so I should count my blessings but I want this so much I love my partner to bits it hurts that it's not happening for us, sorry for the rant 😔 no one knows we are trying so I have no one to talk to

Hey @Comet1992 sorry to hear you feeling so deflated, I get it though the not getting what you want month after month is so disheartening. We are waiting for my partners results to come back (week 3 of waiting). And I've had some more dodgy tests by the looks of it.

Hey @Beccylou94 what was the outcome of your tests were they positive and how are you doing I'm due to ovulate in the next few days feeling more vitalized this month. I've been taking coq10 along with conception vitamins and added black seed oil to my partners diet along with pomegranate juice did some research for sperm motility anything's worth a try right 😆 we are going to both get tests done soon privately but just trying natural herbal remedies first

Hey @Comet1992 no ofc they weren't, bloody faulty tests again. Never using easy@home or premom pregnancy tests again. My ovulation is due Wednesday. Ooh that sounds positive. My partner had tests done and is now being referred. So now I'm calling Drs tomorrow and seeing if I need to be too. Fingers crossed for you. I'm kind of getting to the stage now where I think I may need to take even more of a break soon.
