2ww second month ttc

Hi just wandered if anyone wanted to join me on my second 2ww...currently ttc ..have a 16 and 12 yesr old but have a new partner so trying for baby 3 ..he has a 9 year old so not his first...currently on 2nd month of trying ...

Just wandered if anyone is asell..
We're trying preeseed and having sex every other day

@MissEmily5 ooh your symptoms sound promising I'm hoping you get your BFP🤞🏻 he is the type of person to let nature take its course he has mentioned getting checked as he hasn't before so would be interesting to see. I had my last 9 years ago and havnt tried since so it's still early days for us my AF is due the 28th so will be on over new year if she arrives 😫

Well fingers crossed this is our month 🤞🤞thank god Xmas and kids bdays has kept me occupied on this 2ww..it usually drives me mad and stresses me out lol keep me updated

my OH and I both got tested just to see what we are dealing with before we started the TTC journey and it turns out I am all good but DH needed to take extra vitamins. They said that the look of his swimmers are good, the quantity are good but they are just a little bit slow. So I always crack a joke that your swimmers need some redbull haha! DH is turning 40 next year for reference.

They prescribed him a high strength of Q10 and a special drink, the one he takes is called ‘Proxeed’ that’s a powder that you mix with water and said that within 3 months of use it should help. Just after the 3 months we got the BFP but sadly had a MMC.

As for me, I’m just taking the Pregnacare before conception, mainly because it was on offer haha.

@MissEmily5 Our AF are both due on Sunday! How are you feeling overall? I’ve had what I feel are symptoms but am trying not to symptom spot tbh. I already did a test at 7 dpo and 8 dpo both were negative so not holding much hope either but I’m okay with it. Our time will come!!! Xx

@Comet1992 oh I really hope so 🤞 and I hope it’s the case for everyone else here too! Wouldn’t it be lovely if the we all could be entering 2024 pregnant 😌

@Rainbowpeanut02 not the best time to be due eh! Christmas Eve- it could be celebrations or drowning our sorrows. Hopefully it’ll be celebrations. I’m quite calm, yesterday I was more upset as I’m convinced it’s going to be a BFN, I’m so used to seeing negatives on tests now and I’ve never been pregnant before so I feel like it’ll never happen. But in terms of ‘symptoms’, I’ve not spotted again (hopefully I won’t anymore)- I keep going to the toilet to check but not much of anything just watery discharge when I check with a tissue. My stomach has been quite gurgly today and I did feel a bit nauseous earlier on (but that is quite common for me).

how are you feeling? Any potential symptoms?
I foolishly did a test just now and a BFN, I don’t know why I did it as I’ve also drank lots today! 🤦🏻‍♀️
yes, you’re right, it’s hard to stay positive sometimes but our time will come and hopefully soon!

@MissEmily5 I'm due on new years day! So will have to test new year's eve before we drink (even though I hate testing before my period is actually late 🙄). Could be a realllllllly fun way to end the year, at least I can drown my sorrows!

@moosey89 ooh that’s not great timing either! Hopefully a nice blazing BFP to finish off 2023. How nice would that be. Have you had many potential symptoms? :)

@MissEmily5 feels doubtful but I guess you never know! Only 1 dpo haha so a long way to go for symptoms unfortunately but I'm thankful of Christmas coming up in my tww to make me forget about it ☺️

@MissEmily5 I hate doing the constant testing, I always tell myself I will wait till at least 10 dpo and I always crack, it just gets too tempting.

I got my BFP this morning!!! I wasn’t planning to test today but again they were calling my name. Did the strip test and thought it was negative then was about to throw it in the bin and thought I saw a shadow of a line… ended up doing a digital and a FRER, dramatic I know! and yep it’s definitely positive. Apparently I’m 1-2 weeks as per the digital. But I really weren’t sure if I was this time, I didn’t want to symptom spot and psych myself up to be let down so tried my best not to dwell on everything, but I know it’s easier said than done.

As for symptoms I’ve had, it’s mainly cramping, fatigue, backache and I thought my nipples were getting darker. Can’t say what I had was anything out of the ordinary.

As for how I’m feeling, I’m super happy but super scared, especially after my MMC so told DH and we’ve agreed to take things one day at a time, to not jump too far ahead and deal with everything happening now and not in the future. I feel calmer than I thought but I know when I have my first scan I’ll be a big bag of nerves!

How strange that the strip was negative but glad you had a digital and FRER in to test.

Hopefully you’ve led the way for other positives this month- I’m hoping to be next 🤞 I’ve had a very gurgly/bubbly tummy (hope this is some strange symptom 🙈) today and very pleased to say absolutely no spotting… yet (super nervous every time I go to the loo incase there is blood!).

I don’t think I dare to do anymore tests until weekend (but we’ll see how long I can manage 😂). I’ve never actually had the chance to test on the appropriate day as my period has either greeted me early or right on time.

Aw I understand your concerns but definitely enjoy this moment, it’s a lovely thing and I really hope you have a healthy pregnancy and of course a gorgeous babe at the end of it! Good luck with it all x

Currently 5dpo and on the 2ww I think lol...app said I was ovulating 4 days after my strips were strong so going by the strips....just been dtd every other day up to this point currently month 5 ttc and 37 😬

I think I might be out this month now, I had spotting at 9dpo, absolutely nothing on 10dpo and this morning on 11dpo, bright red spotting but enough to see in the toilet and when I wipe. Went for a second wee and nothing in my pant or toilet but a bit of bright red in tissue, plus a massive temp dip this morning! 🤦🏻‍♀️

can any of you ladies clear this confusion up for me?… I usually have a 27 day cycle it’s very rare that is is below 27 days (had a 26 day cycle back in June- but it’s either 27 or 28 on average) and I got a +OPK on CD15 but for some reason my two apps (FF & Flo) are both saying I’m not due in till Sunday 24th which makes it a 30 day cycle even though they’re both predicting 2 different dpos estimates. According to FF I’m currently 11dpo and to Flo I’m only 9dpo… maybe I’m being daft but I don’t really understand it!

Anyway, good luck to all. Pretty certain I’m going into cycle 6, let’s hope 2024 is a fresh start and brings lots of new year baby dust with it! ✨

Who's been symptom spotting and have you spotted anything?
Altho Xmas is taking my mind off it compared to other months when I do have a quite moment it's all I think about x

I dont symptom stop any more lol last month I was convinced I was pregnant coz or my symptoms but I got a bfn lol...so I don't think anything is a positive now lol

@nervousn3lly I'm trying not too symptom spot but can't help it 🤦🏼‍♀️😫 and I know what you mean @Bex4567 it's best not too overthink things I keep telling myself it will happen when it's supposed to but still can't help testing just in case there's that chance, we havnt got long to wait now and if its negative at least we can have a drink to celebrate the new year 😆 either way we can celebrate right 🥳🥳
