@thejollytrolleydolly same timings! App predicted monday ovulation but i got my positive opk today so now changed since I’m ovulating tomorrow 😊 BD yesterday and tonight since now I know it’s happening tomorrow. Going to try and do again tomorrow if I can as well. They say the best is the day before as the little swimmers will be there already waiting for the egg so fingers crossed 🤞

@CatiaR good thanks! Well, I'm on anti sickness tablets and need to go get anti biotics for a urine infection but you know, other than that 😂 scan date is in for 11th December and I'm so bloody excited! Just praying it's all ok!

Thank you @Hotmalibu94 that all sounds exciting for you!! I got my peak opk yesterday morning and had a massive temp dip the day before so I'm guessing I ovulated yesterday at some point so I'm going to count today as 1dpo I think? Tww here I come!! Xx

sorry I’ve been MIA the last couple of days.
Friday morning I got admitted to hospital with severe abdominal pain. I’ve been here ever since so haven’t been able to track my BBT.
all investigations seems to be clear other than my inflammatory markers on my bloods are up. I think they’re putting it down to a nasty sickness bug - I vomited continuously for around 26 hours. Never do I want to do that again.
im feeling much better in myself today, just weak but I’ve not eaten since Thursday. Hoping once the doctors come today they let me home.

how are you both doing?

@Ncl31 oh poor you, that sounds horrendous! There's some really nasty bugs around at the moment. Hope you feel better soon and they can discharge you ❤️

Took my digital test this morning, seeing the words written down was great ☺️ I'm going to stop testing now and hope that everything goes smoothly 🤞 Lots of mild cramps and bloating, but otherwise smooth sailing for now.

I am doing ok, my app has moved my ovulation to Thursday based on my bbt but I am
not sure how accurate that is considering I got my static smiley Tuesday! Some
people say to trust the smiley rather than BBT as our bodies can do strange things and don’t always work like a machine so I don’t know what to think! I am going to try not to test my BBT in my TWW now it has confirmed an ovulation as it can make me a little bit anxious! i am now around 3/4 DPO so very early into the wait!

I’m going to track BBT again from this evening and will have to just go from there.
if I’ve ovulated then I’ve definitely missed this month. Onwards and upwards.

I will be officially onto another TWW as of tomorrow and as much as I want this month to be our month I’m quite pleased to have more normal cycles I guess trying to be as chill as possible helps ? 😂 I haven’t done anything else.

I have tried using pre seed yesterday so that’s the only thing different this cycle but managed to BD 3 days leading and including ovulation and once more during fertile week so should have covered bases anyway.

@ginny93 I took your advice this morning about leaving the thermometer in my mouth for a bit before taking my temp and it made a big difference!! At first it looked like my temp was dropping which I thought was weird because I ovulated 2 days ago so I put it back in my mouth for a minute then took my temp and it went from 5.8 to 6.2! I'll have to remember to leave it in for a bit before turning on in future! Thank you! Xx

@CatiaR yeah AF is due either today or tomorrow, ovulation was confirm as CD18 but then a couple of days later it changed to 19 so I’m a bit unsure! My temps dropped this morning which will be either 11/12 dpo so right on time for AF so I defo think I’m out this cycle 😔 no other real symptoms apart from lower backache yesterday.

are you using any prenatal vitamins?

I tried Preseed but DH thought it made it seem more forced as I had to go insert it before dtd 😂 I might try it again next month though as I do get limited EWCM and I think k it’s meant to mimic that?

Been taking pre natals for almost a year now, I can only stomach gummies (terrible at taking pills and my god are prenatal pills huge) I take Bassetts.

Yeah its meant to mimic ewcm, I found it ok but definitely need to use less next time XD did the recommended but I got plenty, but I guess it will last longer 😃

back into tww at 1DPO today, we'll see what happens, obviously would love if it was our month, but my cycles are getting back to normal which I am grateful for, 37 days long cycles was a drag.

When do people generally first start testing ?

@NLmum4 After my first month TTC I wouldn't test until my period was due, I kept an eye on my temperature, this time I tested when my period was two days late and my temperature was still high and got my BFP 💕(I would have tested one day late but circumstances meant I couldn't 😂). I think @CatiaR has the same mindset as me that waiting for my temp to drop was a bit kinder on myself mentally than staring at negative tests constantly. Then my temp would drop and my period would start later that day or the next.

@CatiaR thank you, hoping that if it isn’t my month it will be very soon. Them prenatal vitamins are so big, I put 2 in my mouth thinking I’d be able to swallow them and nearly chocked haha! Sending you all the baby dust for your TWW.

@Hotmalibu94 @NLmum4 im the same, I’ve taken to seeing whether my temp drops, although like this month it’s still hugely disappointing it doesn’t hurt as much to me as seeing another blank test.

Yup definitely agree it’s still disappointing but hurts way less than a blank test honestly. I still tested one time last two cycles when it was dubious and wished I hadn’t done that but hey we learn. Now that my bbt has given me a drop the day after AF showed last cycle I think I’ll have to wait until I’m a day late but last cycle AF turned up a day early and confused me 😂
