Hi @Hotmalibu94 , thanks for asking.

CD6 here, as expected. Going into the fertile week soon, with OPKs this time. Will continue to BBT and monitor CM, so hopefully will get the timings right, maybe that will help?

Still early days as this is only the third proper cycle trying and last month was a bit of a write off due to both being ill in the FW. Fingers crossed for all of us!

Trying to focus on my general health - have been exercising more and eating better (still having minimal alcohol, less than a glass or two of wine per week). Also been making non-baby-related plans, such as holidays which is something nice to look forward to.

I’ve also limited my time on MN to only 5 minutes a day as I think it’s stressing me out even more, comparing myself to others and thinking there must be more I should be doing to help.

Level-headed DH understands my impatience but is good at talking me down when I’m upset or worried it hasn’t happened yet, and I know we’ve potentially got a long way to go still. Hope everyone else is holding it together emotionally!

@MorningsideMaisie ah fingers crossed for you my love, I totally get the limiting thing. Hopefully your OPKs and BBTs help! Best to be as relaxed as possible I find. I'm back to just doing BBT because I'm trying to track my luteal phase as there's an issue there but I'm not doing OPKs and things. Just temp in the morning and then forget about it. Hopefully it'll happen sooner rather than later for both of us!

@etaketak1991 aw, there's still some hope but all the luck for next cycle if that's the case!

@Hotmalibu94 if you're ovulating today then yesterday is still very helpul so fingers crossed!

I might start letting go off tracking opks/bbt if it starts to take too long but for now I think I am in a better place and not obsessing over it.

7DPO today and not much to report, temps have been staying up for the most part and got my coverline a few days ago after those first messed up temps but still thinking this cycle won't be it yet 😄

Ladies, does anyone notice a dip in temp right before OV?
I had a dip this morning, just been to the toilet and had slight pink staining cm.

CD19 today, it’ll be interesting to see if I get a spike in BBT tomorrow.
it turns out I don’t have Covid - I have laryngitis instead. Feeling pretty rough with it too, looks like this month is well and truly out for us as no BD for 5 days due to us both being poorly.

@Ncl31 Yes, always a slight dip in temp day before ovulation. Fingers crossed for you 🤞 Laryngitis is awful, hope you feel better soon!

@etaketak1991 thank you, I have some slight cramping I think too. If I can muster the energy I’ll see if DH is up for anything. But we slept in separate beds last night because I felt so grotty. Not putting any pressure on either of us this month. It’ll be a massive bonus if this is just the start of more regular cycles.

@CatiaR that's fair enough! I think once you've got an idea it's nice to just go with the flow. I'm just trying to gather info so if I go to the doctor's hopefully they'll do something. But hopefully my vitamins will work and I won't have to worry 😂

@Ncl31 yeah a dip before ov is quite common! Has your BBT come up today?

So with my BBT looks like ov didn't happen yesterday so my natural cycles app has pushed predicted ovulation to Monday, no idea why it doesn't think it might happen today 😂 so planning to BD today and hopefully tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get an increase in temp tomorrow and be in the TWW again. Or the 9 day wait, who knows 😂

@Hotmalibu94 it has come up slightly but not a massive rise. I’ve just checked last cycle chart and after the dip it was 2 days I had my spike so I’m watching for tomorrow and see what happens.
Ive started to feel more human again today, hubby jumped at the chance to BD this morning when I said I had enough energy, I’ll go for tomorrow too if we’ve got enough energy between us.

Not holding out much hope.

@Ncl31 My BBT was a slow rise this month, only got my "spike" on 2dpo so you never know!

I've started spotting so I think AF is on her way a whole two days early.

@Hotmalibu94 thats a good point, we only tried for 3 cycles so its still early days but if I manage to stay chill and not obsess I prefer to clearly know what’s happening. 9dpo today and not much to report all in track for now only got one slightly sore boob but again with pms and pregnancy symptoms being so similar you really can’t tell. Just have to wait to see if AF turns up!

flo thinks AF is due Saturday whilst premom thinks next week monday.

@CatiaR well I've not ovulated yet 😂 so maybe today. Been having looooads of EWCM for a few days now so clearly it's around now 😂 just a waiting game. My temp has been a bit more erratic this month but I feel like my sleep hasn't been great. So just going to have to wait and see what happens! I'm just hoping for a longer luteal phase at least 😭
Eeek not long for you now. Definitely better to just wait and see in my opinion. Are you gonna wait til Monday or test when it doesn't show Saturday?

Hello everyone! Happy Monday!

I am back from a lovely week in Greece and I think 🤞🏼 managed to catch my most fertile days as had a positive OPK on the day I travelled home! However haven't yet had the rise in BBT so we are yet to confirm!

@Hotmalibu94 I think we are almost at exactly the same time in our cycles, fingers crossed that BBT confirms ovulation for you too tomorrow!

@CatiaR Fingers crossed for you! Hopefully not too long to wait now, I completely agree that it is best to try and wait to see if AF arrives and stay chilled is the best, I just absolutely did not manage that last month 😂😂

@etaketak1991 AF arriving early sucks! But at the same time I always have thought that at least if I'm not pregnant, the earlier it arrives the sooner I'm on to the next cycle! I'm so impatient 😂

No such luck for me @Hollie1802 ! BBT is still low but the cm is deffo lesser now. So no clue what's going on. Just have to wait and see what happens I guess!

@CatiaR it is very hard to stay chilled, for me anyway 😂 I keep telling myself that what will be will be but in my head I'm frantically calculating days and symptoms 😂😂

Still no rise in BBT here and not noticed any EWCM yet either so looks like this is going to be another long cycle.
Not sure what the spotting was the other day, unless it was because I was poorly, who knows.

Weird month over here. I'd be sure I've ovulated if it wasn't for the temp! It's barely reached the cover line today, and it's been a bit up and down the whole month. Who knows when AF will be due now 😂 I don't know if I should just consider myself in the TWW now or not but I think I'll just see how things go. CM has well and truly dried up so I think it's been and gone.

ahh bbt is being annoying to you! I only had my confirmation of ovulation this month on 3dpo cause of my crazy temps! Since then it’s been ok. Hopefully you still in the run this month!

doesnt help that just had my whole tummy cramp and now got some period like cramping in my lower tummy (more uncomfortable than I normally get but again could be just symptom spotting) so I’ll still leave it to bbt to tell me what’s happening in a few days hopefully

I’m feeling better today thankfully. I think ov might be coming soon. I’ve had some EWCM today, but I’m so tired tonight though as I’ve just got home from a 15.5 hour shift and I’m oncall for the rest of the night so might have to go back in for an emergency. Not sure DH is feeling up to BD either but I’ll see

@Hotmalibu94 I've only just got confirm of ovulation this morning on 3DPO as my temp dipped just under the cover line yesterday 🧐 seems like it's a weird one for us all this month! I'm hoping yours spikes today!!

@CatiaR you are doing a great job at waiting until BBT confirms!! Do you feel calmer for it? That's my plan this month, but whether it will happen is another story!

@Ncl31 I really feel for you, I can't imagine I would want to be BD after such a long shift either! 🥵 fingers crossed ovulation comes soon for you but also at a convenient time when you have had some sleep!!
