Bleeding 5days past ovulation

Hi any one who can give me some advice please ? it says my ovulation days was the 22nd of August and the main day of ovulation was the 25th of August on my fertility app. My period started on the 14th to the 17th of August but the 17th was just light spotting. I have now started with period pain cramping sensation and bleeding red blood but I’m not due on my period till the 9th of September and I also have like period pain. I also took an ovulation last Thursday and it was positive. What could this be?

@Jadeypie @Ncl31 Hi,so I ended up at epu yesterday they confirmed that I was having a miscarriage and they did bloods. Also found that I had a urine infection so they gave me antibiotics and swabs. They scraped my cervix as well that was bloody awful. I’m just resting up and took this week off work till I feel better. It’s crazy because I haven’t conceived once in ten years so the good thing is that I can actually conceive naturally after all these years of been told I would probs need ivf. So I’m in shock that I actually fell pregnant! Not the outcome I hoped for but hopefully it will happen again and go right for me. How are you both getting on with every thing? Xx

@Tarn85 oh God sounds like you've been through the mill!! Hope your OK and not in too much discomfort. But it's good that your finding a positive in a negative and that you know you can concieve in the right place naturally x

I've finally stopped spotting and off my af which feels nice to have a bit of normality back. I have bloods next week and waiting for my scan ap so just waiting for that really.

Make sure u get plenty of rest and look after yourself with lots of comfort foods 🥰

@Jadeypie Finally the spotting has stopped for you! 🙌 let me know how you get on with your scan! That will make you feel better so much better once you have been checked over.

@Tarn85 im so sorry to read this. It sounds far from ideal. I hope you’re feeling better soon. It’s good that you’re able to find the positive from it though.
I started AF yesterday which made that cycle 72 days long.
Hoping for a much more normal length cycle this time.

@Ncl31 I hope you have better cycles, it’s so stressful been a woman isn’t it! 🤦‍♀️I wish it was just straight forward for us all. I’m resting up and hopefully I will get back to normal soon. Keep me updated on how you get on. 💕

@Tarn85 ik currently 8DPO after ovulation day 31.
ive had 3 episodes on days 6&7DPO of jelly like blobs of cm. Just when I’ve been to the toilet and noticed it on the paper… see image for TMI. It was slightly pale yellow.
I felt nausea yesterday but I think it’s too early for that so probably just a coincidence.
ive also attached my bbt chart… not planning on doing a test until next Thursday if AF hasn’t arrived by then.
when are you planning to test?

@Ncl31 That looks so promising and the cm as well looks like the slimey cm you can get when you have conceived!

your basal has risen as well that’s a really a good sign! My basal stayed high when I was pregnant and didn’t drop in the TWW so it’s all looking really good for you! 🤞

im going to test in the next four day’s I'm super confused because I ovulated really early and it said my main ovulation day was Wednesday and I keep testing and I’m not ovulating! I had the slimey ovulation slime before this weekend just gone.And I have felt really emotional and been having a weird niggly light pain in my lower abdomen and I had some cramping on my left side. Took an ovulation test this morning and it’s negative.

@Ncl31 I forgot to mention I started coming on my af on the 4th of October with a light bleed and was then heavy on the 6th of October and stopped on the 9th.

I felt like I ovulated not long after my af! Is that even possible and the dates I was predicted I didn’t ovulate due to negative ovulation tests so I must have ovulated super early! I can’t get my head around it.

so I have no idea what’s going on 😂🙈

@Tarn85 oh i feel your confusion. I have PCOS so the last 2 years of TTC has been so confusing!
In July I decided on ovusense temperature sensor to actually tell me if I’d ovulated or kit because I was all over the place. I’ve ovulated twice since getting it. I had EWCM both times a few days before the confirmed date (which comes a few days after ov)
I’ve got weird tingling type crampy feeling today.

Coukdnt resist POAS so I done a left over OPK I had and it had a pretty strong line.
not ready to POAS for a HPT yet because I know it’ll show negative with only being 8DPO anyway.

@Tarn85 hey keeping my fingers crossed for you this cycle. Why are cycles just so confusing hahah I've took a step back approach. My bloods come back up the wall so I'm being referred to specialist to see if I've got pcos. I don't think I've actually ovulated last two cycles and don't think I will this one either. actually had a 27 day cycle last month and that's a first for me. So just been on a health kick and not tracking.

@Ncl31 it's looking all positive for you!! I've heard a dark opk can indicate pregnancy so sending lots of luck your way hoping to see a nice bfp soon for you xx

so frustrating isn’t it and I’m so sorry you having trouble with ovulating! It seems so unfair that we have to go through this doesn’t it. I really hope they help you so that you can start ovulating every month.

@Ncl31 I really hope you are pregnant as all the signs are looking really good for you. And so crazy all this ovulating stuff I literally went to the toilet earlier and it looks like ovulation cm 😳I took an ovulation test this morning and there was a tiny faint line and I’m sure if it’s really light it means your not ovulating from what I have read today, so I’m literally so confused!

please keep me updated how you both are getting on. @Jadeypie I said the the exact same after the miscarriage that I’m not going to obsess over it all anymore but I’m finding so hard not to after this miscarriage not to. 🙈

@Jadeypie @Ncl31 I have had cm slime and took an ovulation test now and it has a faint line, does this look like I’m ovulating or does the line have to be as dark as the control line? X

@Tarn85 it should be darker than the control line.
i had confirmed ovulation 8 days ago but have had a high reading on opk today so i have no idea what’s going on

@Tarn85 yeh the line needs to be darker or the same. Mine opk got darker but never peaked. Keep testing your body might be gearing up and you'll have your peak do u test a couple times a day? I've seen testing from mid day is best. Xx

@Ncl31 I'm just as confused as you 🙈😂. If you ovulated 8 days ago and your temp is high that could be a sign of pregnancy. Before I had that miscarriage my basal was similar to yours.

@Jadeypie not yet, only 8DPO so likely to be negative anyway, plus I done the OPK this afternoon.

@Jadeypie I normally just test once a day, I’m thinking have I even ovulated myself this month now! 🙈Had some cm but no ovulation pain or any thing and it says my ovulation was the last day on Wednesday but I tested negative on my predicted days from my app. So I’m totally thrown out! I will keep testing see if any thing changes and I will try it mid day this time 😂x

so today I took an ovulation test and they both are dark so I must be ovulating but I’m sure I all ready have!

my cycle are so messed up! Maybe from my misscarrige, but I’m sure this is not normal I have attached a pic of my fertility app to see if you can help me out on what’s going on with me.

@Tarn85 so you have a picture of your test?
the chances are if your test is darker than the control line then yes you’ll be ovulating.
how did you know you had ovulated?

@Ncl31 I took another ovulation test today and it was really dark as dark as the control line, I also have the cm and cramping.

I had cm last weekend with some light tinge of blood in it and cramping so that’s why I was convinced I ovulated early. I also never ovulate late but I’m guessing everything has just thrown me all over the place from what happened.

Hi, so my main ovulation days was supposed to be the 15th 16th 17th and the 18th I started testing positive on the 21st 22nd and the 23rd and tested positive this morning

Is it to late in my cycle and classes as a short luteal phase? It’s what I have read today saying that it can affect it implanting as the womb doesn’t have time to thicken if you ovulate later in your cycle and can lead to a miscarriage.

sorry for all these questions, I know you both track so I wondered if you have read this as well and if I’m out for conception this month! 😤😞
