BSS and ex CB Mibbes - MASSIVE congratulations!! Sooo pleased for you, you must be floating around.

Mibbes - I'm hoping to follow in the footsteps of my ex CB - was this your 4th month of trying? - I've just entered my fourth month

Enjoy both of you!

Congratulations to Mibbes and BSS. I am very happy for you both.

cricri · 26/03/2008 09:48

Congratulations Mibbes and BSS Wonderful news. Fingers crossed for sticky beans for you.
Beaniesteve Sounds promising, fingers crossed for you too!

mibbes · 26/03/2008 10:13

beanie I have been hopeful for you for a while lady and this is starting to sound very promising. Are you going to test tomorrow ? It'd be great if BSS and I had another 'Due in Dec' buddy so soon !
BSS am also really scared of anything going wrong. Have made GP appt for next Tue and don't know whether to go for scan or not next Thu - will ask GP. The pre-AF spotting may be caused by something that needs to be sorted so I'd still like to go and of course I may see a beany !
EleveId , I so hope you do too missus !
Am still in shock, it doesn't feel real, I don't feel remotely PG. DP says I should test again tomorrow to be certain. He doesn't seem to believe me that you can't get a false +ve - I did 2 HPTs today and both BFP ! CB was a strong vertical line and a Lloyds own brand with a faint line. TBH I think he is worried that the Lloyds one is not strong so I'll do a CBD tomorrow and maybe he'll believe the words...

Moonlit · 26/03/2008 10:48

Hi Ladies,

I am all better now. I even managed to persuade my DH to BD when I was near the end of my illness.

Anyway.....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! BSS and Mibbles.
Well done ladies. I was thinking only a few days ago, there seemed to be no BPS lately and two came a long in one go. How exciting!!!! Please send a shovel load of baby dust our way

I hope everyone else is good. I had bit of a drama on Monday. My sister gave me a beautiful Tiffany bracelet on my birthday last week and I lost it. I was so upset and went hysterical. I thought I had dropped it whilst out shopping. Anyway I asked DH to call his Mum and ask if I had dropped it there. She said yes and she had picked up. Uhhhh hello, should she not have called me and told me? I was so happy that it was there, that I didn't bother saying anything.
MIL'S!!!!!!!

beaniesteve · 26/03/2008 10:54

I tested today and nothing. Now have a bit more blood so I think I am out this month Just hoping this longer cycle becomes a regular thing

BrightShinySun · 26/03/2008 11:03

Thanks NOAM, bucky, cricri and moonlit. O bugger beanie i was really hoping for you. Mibbes id still go for the scan otherwise you'll always be wondering and 10weeks to the 1st scan is AGES away!

mibbes · 26/03/2008 11:20

OOh lucky you Moonlit a Tiffany bracelet , hope you caught the egg

BSS I know it seems like forever away ! In Scotland first scan is at 12 weeks so have 8 to wait ! I'm not sure if at 5+2 (which I think I will be next Thu) they will be able to see beany anyway, but I really want to know what causes spotting as some of the potential causes are quiet serious and should be treated. Anyway can't worry about that now, have to concentrate on being PG ! I feel like I am a complete fraud !

BTW one of the headlines on GMTV this morning was "Latest medical advice is that pregnant women should not drink alcohol atall" - DP and I both p!sssed ourselves laughing - I think someone somewhere was sending me a wee warning to step away from the wine !

beaniesteve · 26/03/2008 11:21

My bloke went to the doctor today and mentioned we were TTC and he said that I shouldn't be touching alcohol at all!

Bucky2008 · 26/03/2008 11:49

Hmm, no alcohol...I did that for the first....5 months ttc.... Then figured that enough people I know have concieved whilst highly intoxicated and have reverted to my usual lush self. When and if I do get a BFP I will of course reconsider. A year without drinking would have finished me off.. and that is what it has been...MORE THAN A YEAR!!!! AARRRRGHH.

...

tinkerbell2 · 26/03/2008 11:51

hi mibbes&bss how far gone are you? what would your due date be?

sorry beanie

caspercat · 26/03/2008 12:03

Hi, just cruising through, massive congrats to Mibbes & BSS!!
This seems like a v lucky thread in the few short weeks since i joined, i hope it continues for everyone

MollieMooma · 26/03/2008 12:08

BSS & Mibbes Yippppeeeeee!!!!!!!
Fantastic news so pleased for you and just ever so little bit
Sticky beanies for both of you x
Hi Rach Welcome to our gang, hope your stay is short.
Moonlit So glad to hear your better, and well enough to BD - go girl! MIL's don't start me they are nothing but a pain in the bum!
Beanie Sorry it's not good news for you, but it ain't over til the red lady sings!
Bucky Hope you feel better after your little rant? How come you haven't been to chat lately then? Too busy BDing?

BrightShinySun · 26/03/2008 12:13

Bucky don't worry I've still been a terrible lush over the last few weeks!! Is going to be sooo hard not to get busted as everyone knows what a wino I am and we're going out for DH's b-day in a couple of weeks. A 'I'm driving' excuse is not gonna cut it!!

Mibbes I'm in Wiltshire and our first scan is also 12 weeks but if I only ovulated 2 weeks ago tomorrow does that mean that I'm only two weeks pregnant and therefore would they use that date and say my scan would be 10 weeks from now?

Thanks casper! Tink I'm not sure, I'm guessing as I'm only 13dpo I can only be 13 days pregnant at most?

Emmsy1 · 26/03/2008 12:22

BSS a huge congratulations to you! its about time there were some more BFP's on this thread!XX (if you 'O' 2 weeks ago tomorrow, then the hospital would class you as 4 weeks pregnant tomorrow, they take it from the first day of your last period, assuming that you 'O' approx CD 14)

mibbes have already sent you loads of love and good wishes on our other thread, but no harm in doing it again XX CONGRATULATIONS**

BrightShinySun · 26/03/2008 12:28

Thanks Emmsy, just started a thread on this in pregnancy coz it got me wondering. Thing is my last period started 22nd Feb so if they're going by that I'd be five weeks Fri which seems crazy when I know I only ovulated two weeks ago!! Is this just the way it's done then?

Not going to complain though coz that brings my scan forward a whole lot more - wo hoo!!

EiWishFor3MoreEasterEggs · 26/03/2008 12:39

just a quick one to say........
mibbes and BSS congratulations girls im so happy for you both and its about time you proved my psychicness right mibbes get your feet up and take care of those super sticky beanies
bss they would count you as 5 weeks regardless of when you Oved as they add days on to the end of your dates to give you you proper EDD
il catch up with everyone properly later
xx ei xx

Emmsy1 · 26/03/2008 13:10

BSS then you are nearly 5 weeks, congrats! thats the way it is done. when you have your first scan they will be able to give you an accurate date of when you are due. If poor fruity was to get pregnant they would really be confused shes on to CD94!(PCOS)Thats how they do it here on the Wirral!X

tinkerbell2 · 26/03/2008 13:22

ye bssyou are nearly 5 wks congrats

HeidiS · 26/03/2008 13:54

Going mad...and about to share TMI
I'm cd24 if I start counting the day I got af heavily and cd28? if I start counting the day I started af with some spotting.
I was feeling reall positive this month and on Thursday cd18 - when I started spotting a bit - I told myself I'm not out yet - it could be some of that implantation bleeding. But I still have the spotting...
I'm also on the recurrent mc thread
And while I'm trying to tell myself I'm obviously not pregnant this month, my breasts are doing weird things BG what I mean is, a few times today and yesterday they've had that feeling like they were about to start leaking. Ya know, the tightness that comes when your baby starts crying and you start leaking...
I have a test....but am trying to tell myself to wait a few more days. But all this spotting and breast tightening is driving me batty
I should wait....right?
Isn't it funny how this TTC business can turn a normal, intelligent woman into a raving lunatic?? LOL

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 26/03/2008 14:12

hi heidi you should count your CD from the first day of full flow red blood so you are CD24?? we had a BFP today from mibbes who has been spotting and it stopped a few days ago. do you know roughly when you might have ovulated? if so and you are more than 10DPO then i would test when is AF due? (sorry bout the millions of Qs)
