yey well done BSS for not testing and hurray the TEW is leaving you in peace ! I also managed to resist the urge to test. Spotting is nowhere to be seen, temp still high and no sign of AF atall. So tomorrow it is ! Thanks for checking up on us never !!
Jaamy so sorry to hear you are feeling down hun. Why is it that all the PG ladies crawl out of the woodwork when you least want to see them ? When I was on holiday I swear over half of women of child-bearing age had huge bumps, there clearly isn't much on TV in Madeira !
beanie sorry GP being a numpty - how on earth do you get PG without ov ? Did you have day21 bloods done on day 21 of this cycle ?

BrightShinySun · 25/03/2008 11:01

Ha ha well done mibbes! Am excited but scared going out with my mum today so should distract me for a bit!

beaniesteve · 25/03/2008 11:21

BSS I have tried chasing it myself with the hospital and someone did email me back saying they would checkbut now all lines of communication are dead!

Ho hum!

My bloods were done on day 18 if this cycle just before my period started (they put it forward as my cycle is short) and then I had a 10 day period!

Gaaahh - I WILL shut up about this now

tinkerbell2 · 25/03/2008 11:25

oh beanie i feel for you what an annoying situation you are in
i am sure you will get an answer soon crossing fingers for you

shoptilidrop · 25/03/2008 11:26

Forgot to say hi and welcome to shop Brain of a goldfish! Good luck and I hope your stay with us is a short one!
Hey tink how you doing?
Back to work after my long weekend so this morning was pants, but back into the swing of it now!

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 25/03/2008 15:03

Afternoon girls

Hi mollymooma I have to stay upbeat cos otherwise I'd have chronic manic depression given the state of my cycles and the procratinating NHS!!!!!

Ahhhhhh, happy again now

Hi shoptillidrop I'm also TTC baby no 2. It's hard going let me tell you! So pleased your AF's have come back!

I still cant believe I even took The Pill after I had DS. What was the point? I wouldnt have got pg anyway! hahaha. It's ironic really.
Remember all those years of being so scared to forget a pill? What a lot of nonsense!

Anyway, I think the Prog is gonna kick in soon as I'm O/Ding on choc and getting spotty. I'm sure I can still feel pre AF cramps. Also my temp has shot up. How lovely to get my AF after 90 odd days! I'm dreading it actually. 3 months worth of AF! Ouch! My last AF (on xmas eve) was very painful and very (TMI alert) clotty. It would be nice if she could spread her visits out a bit! Ah well, I'm looking forward to getting my blood tests and the HSG scan sorted. A bit weary of the scan though cos it's supposed to hurt lot

cricri · 25/03/2008 15:47

Just popping in to say good luck with testing tomorrow morning BSS and Mibbes! Fingers crossed for you both. BSS I had bad cramping all week before getting my BFP and was convinced AF was on her way.
Beaniesteve I don't want to get your hopes up, but I remember Sambrads on this thread being told by her doctor that she hadn't ovulated after getting her blood test results and she then went on to get a BFP that month. Fingers crossed that pg hormone levels are still too low for HPTs to pick up at the moment and that you'll have a BFP by the end of the week.

shoptilidrop · 25/03/2008 16:07

fruitloop, that sounds terrible, poor you. Very very frustrating. I dont know why i went back on the pill either... esp as dh wasnt even in the same county as me. Its taken 6 months to get my first af and im really really hoping to get something like a normal cycle this time round...... wishing luck to both of us.

BrightShinySun · 25/03/2008 16:09

Thanks cricri its nice to hear a positive story. Just want the morning to come now so i can know either way!

blondieminx · 25/03/2008 17:05

Hi everyone hope you all had a good easter and got lots of treats!

home a bit early today so thought I'd log on and say hi!

Fruity I'm still hanging in there towards the bottom of the list with you! Like you say, all those years of taking the pill - and when it comes to the time when you do want to get pg it all seems to be so difficult, dammit! I've started temping now to try and get a better idea of what's going on. I hope the progesterone kick starts things for you hon .

Tink lucky you finally getting your AF!

Jaamy really sorry to hear all you've been through

hi to shoptilidrop I hope your stay is a short one!

Good luck to those testing this week.

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 25/03/2008 17:11

Ah Blondie I'm not alone!!! yeah! Forgive me if you've already told me (terrible memory) but do you know why your cycle is so long? Grab that BBT lady! Be lovely to see your chart!

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 25/03/2008 17:14

What about all you other epic cycle veterans? Where are you all??????

beaniesteve · 25/03/2008 17:18

Aha - went to the loo earlier and on wiping there was a pinkish bit of watery blood. Am not going to head down the 'maybe it's implantation' route but instead will just assume it's my period arriving and be grateful that at least I have one!

Have put in a pad just to see what kind of bleeding it is (it's stopped now) - I don't usually get spotting, more a sudden gush, but nothing is normal at the moment so I'll consider it a very late period instead of wishing for too much

thanks for all your words of support

blondieminx · 25/03/2008 17:40

beaniesteve awh hon.

Fruity I came off the pill on NYE and nothing's happened - plenty of BFN's to prove it! I went to the doctors the first week of this month and she said to come back in June if still no periods, in the meantime I'm to do a test every month just in case. I don't feel any different so I don't think I am! If all those "sods law" rules were true (pee on a CB digital £10 test, wear white pants etc) then I'd have seen AF ages ago! . I've only been temping for just over a week so there's not much to see yet...will post it when there's a bit more on the chart!

I too would be interested to know more about what's happening now with the other "long cycle" ladies!

fruitloopwants79eastereggs · 25/03/2008 17:51

ah Blondie that bloody Pill. It causes nothing but problems! June? that seems so far away especially to have no periods . Although when TTC they normally say to wait a year before getting help. Which, I think, is far too long to wait. Especially when most people I know fall pg within the 1st month or two of trying! And I see your TTC number 1. It must be even harder for you . Can't you see another GP? Maybe they can do a scan to make sure everything's in working order? Seems a bit harsh to leave you for so long without any help

mibbes · 25/03/2008 18:06

Hi blondie so sorry you are having rubbish long wait like Fruity, I had a 44 day cycle and that drove me mad so hats off to you ladies for coping so well
beanie sorry it looks like AF on her way, but you know that it is possible that it is imp bleeding (I have my fingers crossed my 3 day bleed was imp !) esp if the pattern is different to usual AF - I'll quietly cross my fingers for you xx
Fruity I really hope that AF pays you a visit pronto hun. As for the others at the Southern end of the list am off to look for them, I think some of them must have had BFPs.

blondieminx · 25/03/2008 18:09

awh thanks Fruity well I waited 3 months before going to the docs but I figured since I have no periods that was fair, and at least it put me on their radar. If I still haven't had anything in another 2 months I'll make an appointment for 1st week of June and ask for lots of tests!

The doc said she wasn't overly worried just yet and to just be patient. I was on the pill a long time so it may just be taking ages to come out of my system. I'm trying not to obsess to be patient till June!

I'm taking DH away for his birthday this weekend and he reckons attempting a dirty weekend is bound to cause AF to appear

I know what you mean about other people falling really quickly, there's been 5 people in my department at work over the last year and I wish they'd sprinkle some of their baby dust over me!
