OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 25/02/2008 15:27

Ok Im crazy, I have made myself another pot noodle.

NatalieJane · 25/02/2008 15:36

Add a few gherkins and a lump of ice cream on top and you won't need a HPT!!

kayzisbroody · 25/02/2008 15:38

I do have gerkins and ice cream.

NatalieJane · 25/02/2008 15:39

LMAO, go on I dare you!!

kayzisbroody · 25/02/2008 15:42

No way. It would be gross!!!

My sister used to have marmite and banana sandwiches.

I could just eat some ice cream though.

NatalieJane · 25/02/2008 15:43

I do Marmite and cucumber, mmmmmmmm

kayzisbroody · 25/02/2008 15:45

I love Marmite, I could eat cheese spread and marmite sandwiches all day.

NatalieJane · 25/02/2008 15:50

I don't do cheese, but Marmite is one of my staple foods! It is very good for you donchaknow, DS1 can't stand it, but DS2 gives me a run for my money on the stuff!

'Tis true what they say, you either love it, or you hate it!

kayzisbroody · 25/02/2008 15:52

Ds likes it but then dh said he cant have it until he is a year old. So I have stopped giving it to him.

Starshinetiger · 25/02/2008 16:34

Double buggys Taboo words, pooing in labour, cravings.. what are we going to have left to talk about when we're actually pg?!
Hope you enjoyed your pot noodle Kay and glad you're feeling better!
Re. BF, I really hope to be able to BF this time round for minimum 6 months - in the end gave up at 4 months with DS after his reflux was so much better on bottle than on with bf. Fingers crossed for us all!
I am feeling very smug today - have stuck to my diet all day so far and even sat here eating a pear while all around me munch on choccies my colleague brought back from hols
Just got to keep it up for the rest of the week now!
... although am craving marmite on toast after reading this!

largeginandtonic · 25/02/2008 16:36

Kay he can have it! Little bit is good for him

Potty training nightmare, most of mine have just done it when ready. 3 of them were dry day and night within a few weeks. DD was dry quickly through the day but still wearing a pullup at night till she was 5. It made no difefrence lifting her or the others. I may have done it about 11 at night but you are likely to disturb his sleep pattern (and yours!) by lifting through the night. If you know he norally does a big wee early in the morning then lifting him then would be a better idea.

BF i have fed all of mine, the twins were in special care for 3 months and i pumped till they could feed from me. It is incredibly hard work and i have had planty of moments when i wanted to give up. I am so determined though and far too lazy to bottle feed The latest ds and ds#4 fell off al their charts (bloody red book) and i was hounded by HV to give top ups etc.. i just knew they were not going to pile it on even with a bottle. They were both born big and had just been so well fed during pregnancy > that it meant their was no way they were going to follow that percentile line. Sure enough they both levelled off and found their own percentile line.

I think you just have to believe you can do it and persevere, grab all the help you can to and IGNORE all those muppets who say very unhelpful things like "oh you must not be producing enough milk" and other derogatory comments that make you feel crap.

You can as Natalie said BF during preg, i dont resume normal cycles till i have stopped bf but i know that is not the case for any people.

Good lord what a preach moment

I will get in my box now...

I'm ok now thanks, I do and I dont hope it's morning sickness. I dont want morning sickness but I do so I dont have to wait to do a test.

When you do get pg they'll just use the date from the scan anyway so you dont need to worry to much about dates.
