NatalieJane · 29/02/2008 18:18

PMSL, Lulu is MN's resident Doula, LoulaDoula

kayzisbroody · 29/02/2008 18:18

If we were to all meet up, we'd be kicked out of everywhere for being rude!!

Lulumama · 29/02/2008 18:20

and cackling ! i do a good line in loud laughing ! and snorting wine out of my nose

am dead classy, me! see my profile, i drink pints ! LOL!

NatalieJane · 29/02/2008 18:21

I know Lulu, we're not so far from each other, you know more about me than most, (well you, and everyone else on MN!!!).

Come and join us TTC-ing, there is always room for one more

If not (which I think is quite likely!), take care sweetie xxx

Lulumama · 29/02/2008 18:21

the none of your bussiness was for NJ about the landing strips!!

NatalieJane · 29/02/2008 18:22

LMAO At least it's only wine you're snorting!

Us lot kicked out? We'll do it in the summer, a nice park or something (no tennis courts Diege!!)

kayzisbroody · 29/02/2008 18:23

I think a meet up would be so much fun!!

Lulumama · 29/02/2008 18:23

no, am too old for that !

well ,not really, but i am very blessed and have so much i want to do.. so am focusing on that. but i think even if i had one more, i;d want another, so best to stop now i think ! x

lots of happy and succesful TTC to you all x

NatalieJane · 29/02/2008 18:23

Yes but by spreading the word about landing strips (or lack of) you would be supporting a pregnant woman making the right choice.... sort of!

NatalieJane · 29/02/2008 18:25

You are indeed very blessed, and your LoulaDoula-ing services are also very much appreciated.

I am going to stop licking your arse now woman, go and help someone birth!!!

NatalieJane · 29/02/2008 18:26

Meant to say, Kay I agree, can you imagine us lot in the same room? I am sure it wouldn't be forgotten for a while!!

NatalieJane · 29/02/2008 18:28

Right, DH is home, so I am off. G'night everyone (will be here bright and early for Cal's announcment ) Have a lovely night/weekend xxx

kayzisbroody · 29/02/2008 18:34

Night Nat

lardylumps · 29/02/2008 18:37

Night NJ. It would be fun to all meet up and put a face to name. I wouldn't be able to make it up there though as I live in Kent so bit of a trek...

Lulu now I understand, I bet you could tell a few stories. (Although I am sure you are too professional for that)...

Diege · 29/02/2008 18:39

Phew, just half an hour and they'll all be in bed, just leaving me, a cream egg, and Colleen's Real Women (dh off cycling with friends - shame about the weather, ha!).
LOL at the carrot Nat, although a rather high risk strategy there .
Hi LULU!! Sure you couldn't manage Warrington for your 'services'?? We could meet half eay, way St.Helens?? On second thoughts... .
I think a summer-time meet-up would be great - a big picnic in a park somewhere with lots of food and drink .

Lulumama · 29/02/2008 18:40

i am indeed very professional,. when i am not snorting wine out of my nose and laughing like sid james!

night all x

Cosmogirl · 29/02/2008 18:40

Hi ladies,

Playing - thanks for the maternity leave info. Wow, your friend's employer sounds amazing! I think I've come to the conclusion that it shouldn't matter too much what the qualifying period is. We should start trying when we are ready - not when work dictates we should. Am loving the job so far though, hope it continues this way.

Kayz - sorry about the BFN but fingers crossed when you test on Monday it will be the thread's first BFP!!

NJ - no problems re: lack of ML advice

Teuch - I felt the same when SIL announced her second pregnancy - she's due August. Just thought we would be next, but guess that's a bit of a selfish thing to say..Can't help the way we feel though, can we?

I have managed to catch up on the sex talk! Well I must be the luckiest woman alive because DH is not a fan of the old BJ (nor am I) but he does love giving oral, so all is good x Cosmo

Lulumama · 29/02/2008 18:41

delivery on the a565? i think not ! know a lovely doula nearer your way ...

MoosMa · 29/02/2008 18:42

A summer meet up does sound fun, with our varying bumps/MS/count down calendars. I doubt I'd make it though being way down south.

lardylumps · 29/02/2008 18:42

you lucky lucky lady cosmo......

Diege · 29/02/2008 18:52

Oooh Lula, will contact you as and when re: that doula! Determined to avoid epidural next time, but have a tendency to go into panic mode when I feel pain!
Maybe we could sort out a meet mid-way??Or (as we do with my PN MNgroup, have separate southerner and northerners meets, and post piccies? Would be good to try and guess who's who, although those of us with piccies on profiles would be at a disadvantage!
Right, will try and pop on later, but if not, speak tomorrow!! (good-luck CAL!!!)

kayzisbroody · 29/02/2008 18:56

yeah a midway meet up!!!

Near at least 1 baby shop!!

Lulumama · 29/02/2008 19:06

no worries, diege!

lardylumps · 29/02/2008 20:00

night ladies thats me done for another day. Good luck tomorrow on your test and I will speak to you all Sunday. Yes I am working poor me.

calsworld · 29/02/2008 20:19

Diege, yes, mumomega is omega oils suitable for pregnancy - they have to be low in Vit A. When I was pregnant with DS I asked the midwife about the fact that I had suddenly turned forgetful and a bit dizzy...disorganised and chaotic - she said it was coz the baby needs omega oils to develop and if not enough in diet then baby takes it from you...and the only place we store it is in our brains!

I was a bit sceptical, esp when I saw the price but after about a week I felt so much better. DH thinks I should never have stopped taking them .

Have immediately taken one of my pregnacare vits ( and will be testing tomorrow am. I haven't got my hopes up at all because I'm about 95% sure AF is late because I've been poorly, that's all. Like I say, we didn't decide to abandon the contraception till this month and only managed BDing from CD16.
