Also 9dpo and v sore boobs, been testing but still holding out hope for a positive over the next few days !!

CinderRosie · 06/08/2023 16:24

Thank you guys, I can’t quite believe it and don’t think I will until I see either a positive digi or a solid thick line. I’m so scared of a chemical too as know how common they are. Symptoms-wise I feel everything I’d usually feel with PMS. Fatigue, tender breasts and had a headache yesterday. Have also had very very slight cramps sensations, and today there’s also been a slight bubbling sensation in my lower stomach which I’ve never had before. My BBT plummeted yesterday below the cover line and today has shot right back up which again hasn’t happened before.

CinderRosie · 06/08/2023 16:26

Good luck everyone 🤞🏻 ✨

ttcthoughts · 06/08/2023 20:09

oh my goodness @CinderRosie defo lines on both tests! How exciting!! 🎉

Goldie1234 · 06/08/2023 20:46

Ahh @CinderRosie sounds like an implantation dip !!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Vic231 · 07/08/2023 11:17

Ooo @CinderRosie this is exciting!

HavinKittens · 07/08/2023 14:30

I’m guessing I’m 8-10 dpo ish. I’ve had some cramps. trying not to get too excited that it could be implantation. Probs more likely my period due.

Hello all,
Just stumbled across this thread - can I join?

Re-registered with Mumsnet after many many years (18 y/o son!) and trying to remember all the terminology! Now recently married with a new partner and TTC! I’m 38 and he’s 41 so
hoping we’re not too late!

Currently 10DPO and not feeling hopeful this month as PMS symptoms have kicked in! Would be great to go through the next cycle with you all :-). DH is absolutely great but I don’t like to talk about it too much with him as he feels pressured and would prefer things to spontaneously happen naturally, but unfortunately time is not on our side, so would be great to be able to talk about OPKs etc with you all.

Good luck on your journeys and hopefully we all get a BFP soon!

Shelle1504 · 07/08/2023 14:56

Oops just realised I’m 39 not 38!!!!!!! even worse!!

Goldie1234 · 07/08/2023 22:19

Hi @Shelle1504 ! My partner doesn't enjoy the pressure either, it's nice to have a place to talk about it all !!

Optimistic66 · 08/08/2023 08:48

So turns out I have PCOS and I ovulate occasionally and not other months - which is very frustrating. I went private to check. However as was through my work Bupa - doesnt cover fertility related problems so they couldnt offer any further help.

Not quite sure what I can do about this? Anyone with PCOS here?

Another month of trying Day 12 - does anyone else get fed up?

@CinderRosie - Looks like a pos to me!

Goldie1234 · 08/08/2023 09:41

Hey @Optimistic66 my friend has just been told she has pcos. They're going to give her something that stimulates ovulation as she has the eggs, but isn't naturally releasing them, which will give her a 'normal' chance of conceiving. I'm sorry about the diagnosis, hopefully you'll be able to start medication for it. When we went for fertility treatment for my first, it was a strange feeling that at least I could do something about it rather than it being unexplained. Did the doc give you any advice on what to do next?

Ahhh thanks for confirming - all i got was a 'Lose weight' - I need to lost 12kg to get my BMI under 30. I've been trying for years and really struggle - but swim 3 times a week and eat relatively healthy. I have weeks where I can lose a 1lb and then around my period/week before I dont lose anything or gain 1lb so like my net difference is 1lb in the month. Ive lost 20kg in last 2 year. Also makes me super sad as it taken me so long to lose 20kg, that feels like it will be another two years before i get any help then!

Wonder if I could go private etc? Where do you even look for this?

Goldie1234 · 08/08/2023 12:24

Yeah she went private, just found a fertility clinic near her I think. Have you spoken to your GP yet? They also recommended the Keto diet to help the PCOS for her.

CinderRosie · 08/08/2023 15:42

I'm now 11DPO, have not tested anymore as have had AF style cramps on Sunday, nothing yesterday then more today. They are on an off, no bleeding at all. Have no idea if this is normal or if something is wrong. I want to pluck up the courage to test again when I get home from work but so anxious it'll be negative...

Goldie1234 · 08/08/2023 16:39

@CinderRosie I had AF style cramps on and off with my DD, hopefully just a normal symtpom !

mahii95 · 08/08/2023 17:01

Hi all.. what's your thoughts on my BBT chart? Had different start times at work this weeks last 3-4 mornings hence the different time measurements as shown.. however only by like 30-45mins.. Currently 14dpo.. AF is due tomorrow.. had some mild twinges but nothing much.. last tested at 9dpo and got a BFN? Reckon an early CB digital would be accurate day of AF is due? Planning to test tomorrow with FMU.

Come wait with me - July onwards
CinderRosie · 08/08/2023 18:31

I’ve been brave and taken a couple of other tests, 11DPO with afternoon pee! Saving the digi for later in the week!

Oh wow congratulations @CinderRosie

Shelle1504 · 08/08/2023 19:44

Congratulations @CinderRosie 😍

PollyDarton1 · 09/08/2023 11:50

Congratulations @CinderRosie those are brilliant lines!

I'm on the lead up to ovulation - my last cycle was very clear/on time but we didn't DTD that much as DP was unwell.

I think I'm CD13 but no signs of ovulation yet, normally ovulate around CD20 or so, so have started OPK and BBT.

@PollyDarton1 we'll be around the same time! I'm CD14 - no sign of ovulation yet - usually when I do ovulate its around 19 - 21.

I didnt ovulate last month, but hoping this month is a good month for us!!!!
i'm feeling hopeful regardless of my PCOS.

How long are your cycles?

GinAndBearIt90 · 09/08/2023 16:34

I tested today and got an unexpected BFP! Did suspect I was pregnant the last day or 2 but at least now I know for sure. @CinderRosie I've been having lots of mild cramps too but it was the same with my last 2 pregnancies and is usually nothing to worry about!

GinAndBearIt90 · 09/08/2023 16:36

Did a digital as it was all I had in the house, leftover from my last baby 😊

HavinKittens · 09/08/2023 17:51

Oh awesome congrats @GinAndBearIt90 !! So good to see it on a digital right?

I am doing well not testing yet. I have been reading It Starts With the Egg. Finding it helpful and maybe explains why we haven’t had much success yet ttc. I’m going to try some of the changes eg supplements, med diet, and reduce plastics.
