Although I did take against a beef burger at a BBQ earlier 🤢

FYI, in case helpful we basically did the SMEP apart from we didn’t skip a day at the end of the cycle. Xx

@HavinKittens they are now going down this morning so I think yesterday was peak finally only 10 days late 🙈🙈

just realised I posted this reply on the wrong thread

Finally CD1 for me which means I ovulated a day or so later than I thought I did which explains why we didn’t fall pregnant this month as we last DTD on the day of the positive OPK. Whereas if we had SMEP’d we’d have DTD on the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and then the Monday.

I think the chances of us following SMEP are low at the moment. Not enough energy haha!

When we conceived my little boy we didn’t do SMEP exactly but we DTD a LOT more then we do now 😅 see pic.

I read that during covid lockdown in Italy lots of couples on ivf waiting lists conceived spontaneously and they put it down to them just having sex more.

6dpo and tested this morning with SMU (it's stronger than FMU for me) - BFN of course. Only tested as hosting a bbq today and wondering whether to drink. Think I'll steer clear just in case as just experienced some light spotting. Praying it's implantation bleeding rather than just random hormonal spotting. Wait and see I guess... I hate waiting...!

@HavinKittens its wiped me out tbh I feel so poorly today... Way too much sex 😂😂

DH and I are both off work on annual leave for my next fertile period so I’m hoping this means we have more opportunity and energy to cover all bases rather than only having evenings after we’re both shattered from work.

How is everyone? I am 7 DPO after very clear ovulation signs on day 21 - and static smiley on CB. DP has been really unwell though so we only DTD once around fertile time, so don't hold out much hope. It's possible he has lupus so if I'm not pregnant this cycle we are going to knock off trying until Christmas when we have some answers to his health probs.

@PollyDarton1 gosh really sorry to hear that about your DP. That sounds like a lot to take on and understandable about putting TTC on hold for a bit. I’m 6dpo so close behind you. Also not feeling too hopeful as I’ve been spotting lightly since ovulation which makes me think pregnancy is not likely.

currently only 4DPO 🙄🙄🙄 feel like the wait is ages.. I don’t have any hope this month

After planning to wait until next month to start and also planning to sway for a girl this time, DH and I went against the plan and DTD unprotected on ovulation day 🙈🙈 so there's a tiny chance this cycle after all! 2DPO today

8 DPO and BFN on easy@home. Pretty sure I wouldn't have conceived anyway this cycle, although we DTD the day before I ovulated so possible. I don't have as many symptoms as I do premenstrual which is bizarre!

I am not tracking at all this cycle. Going to leave things up to fate until next year now I think.

Did a Boots test in the evening last night as was having some strong symptoms, the light was bad so just left it and came back this morning and there is a very faint line.

Just a word of warning more than anything - I know we shouldn't check past the testing window but usually on Boots tests if nothing is showing up, if never shows up.

I've done another Boots test this morning with a 4 hour hold and it's BFN.

Oh yeah I had trusted those tests not to have evaps. Good to know. Sorry you had a BFN this am but still early right?

I’m hoping if I don’t track when I’ve ovulated this month, it’ll make it easier to resist testing until period is missed.

Hi everyone, I'm back from my last minute trip to Amsterdam and we had a wonderful time, however whilst we were away we found out our gorgeous dog has a Sarcoma that needs operating on tomorrow 😭and then I got struck down with D&V the day after we got home, so spent the whole weekend feeling rotten, which then sent me into a panic in case I was pregnant, for then AF to appear this morning.

So, I'm feeling pretty flat today. Grumpy and emotional. I'm hoping optomistic me will be back tomorrow but at the moment it feels like time is running away and the months are rushing by when I (like all of us!) just want to be pregnant x

definitely good to know about those Boots tests, I thought they were the new holy grail of tests!

CD9 for me, period finished a few days ago. I’m stressing (probably unduly) that my OPKs are still negative, last month I had high fertility on the Clearblue from CD8. Every cycle is different though I suppose. You’re probably doing the right thing by not tracking @HavinKittens x

Update on this and seems the spotting was indeed implantation. I'm now 14dpo and my progression is attached.

Feel very lucky to have conceived first cycle following the MMC and RPOC issues. Hoping this is a rainbow sibling for DD1.

@HavinKittens you're so right the not tracking will help the not testing ! It does become so all consuming. I've started up the lh tests and already having strange dreams about pregnancy...
