Hello 🙋🏽‍♀️I was looking for any recent 1dpo threads and couldn't find any so here we are 😊.

I am 1dpo today and although i'm planning on "trying" to stay relaxed, I usually end up obsessing close to test date so any fellow obsessives are welcome to join

TTC#2, cycle 1. Ovulation due today. Last time I got my BFP 9DPO but it was faint. I’d like to hold off until then but I know I’ll probably start POAS way too early again 😅

Hi @glasspaw I got my last bfp early too and I think that makes you even worse with early testing because you know an early line is a possibility.

Do any of you do bbt?

@Ladyinpink1 yes I do BBT! Alongside monitoring CM and cervical position

@PineappleK Can I ask what your rough bbt is after ovulation in this weather? I have been waking really early because of the heat and so temping then as soon as I wake (before 5 last few days) but my temp don't seem as high as I would think especially in this heat. Then I wondered is it because I am taking the temps so early.

I have never tried cervix position, do you find a pattern with this?

@Ladyinpink1 - I’m trying bbt but my temp is all over the place. I sleep really poorly so I suspect that’s why having read up on what it takes to get a useful test result haha. I did get a big dip today (which I think is typical for predicted ovulation day?)

I did think maybe I ovulated yesterday because my LH went up for one test then right back down…but it’s up again this morning so who knows?! 😂

@Ladyinpink1 my chart is a bit all over the place but I work shifts so it's often like this 😂 my temp is definitely running a little higher than normal, I normally have the baseline at around 36.3 and it's around 36.5 atm but I still had a shift in temp during ovulation. I interpret my temps with a pinch of salt because of shift work and poor sleep often affecting my temp, which is why I use the other methods alongside BBT

@Ladyinpink1 @Naomi2023 I wasn't planning to test before period is due but now I'm thinking I might do it the weekend before (AF due on a Wednesday) 😅

@Hotmalibu94 I'm 1 dpo today yay! Officially in my tww and already can't wait to test 🙈 I got my bfp at 10dpo last time so yes knowing you can get an early positive makes you want to test. Every month I think im going to stay relaxed and see if af makes an appearance but never get that far and I know its definitely not going to be a relaxed approach for testing this month either 😂 x

So 2dpo (max 3dpo) and feeling a bit sicky today, and was super congested when I woke up which is unusual for me. Also my toothpaste tasted weird 😂
However I think I need to calm myself and this is almost definitely not related to anything as its way too soon to be getting symptoms 😂
Probably just sick with nerves and getting a smidge of hay fever 😂

Hello! I'm now 2 dpo (I think, didn't use an OPK or anything) so same as OP. It's my first cycle of trying for DC2. Conceiving DC1 took 2-3 months so fingers crossed it's quick this time too - am v impatient for another baby.

I like to wait until I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant before I take a test. With DC1 my period was almost a week late and I was already feeling sick!

Work trip next week which should keep me busy, until then I shall obsess.

@glasspaw lol ok good, i'm glad i'm not alone as mine had been a bit of a mess with the heat not sleeping the best too and i'm taking my temp at all dif times as I think as soon as you wake up from the longest sleep is when you are meant to take it.
Lol. Hopefully you got dtd enough to cover any day. I read before that the day you got a rise, you ovulated the day before as temp only rises after ov has already happened, if that helps lol

@PineappleK Thank you for sharing, what app is that you use? It's much more detailed than mine. Shift work must be tough, especially in this heat. Is it long hours?

@Ladyinpink1 I guess there's every chance I ovulated earlier as I don't actually track it but I'm thinking I'm just convincing myself of symptoms that aren't actually there 😂😂😂
But if I do still have symptoms I will definitely be testing early!

Hello everyone I’m 3 dpo af is due 26th and I’m gonna try and not test until 12dpo hopefully.

wiggles and sits down hey! I'm not in the dpo yet. Got My peak LH today so will start 1dpo on Saturday. This is ttc #3 since January and have already two boys (will be 8 and 4 later in the year) trying the baby dust method to sway for a girl but honestly at the moment I don't mind Gender c":

@Ladyinpink1 yes long hours, do 12 hour night shifts around once a week so on these days we don't have time to BD at all, so have to time it well. I also work late shifts and will naturally wake later on these days. It's hard to find the time but we make it work when we can, sometimes it works in our favour and sometimes it doesn't.

I have a week off and nothing planned the day after AF is due so it's either going to be the best week ever or the worst week ever. Am planning on POAS 2 days before AF is due, if I can hold on that long 🤞🏻

can i join! i’m cd13 and haven’t had a positive opk yet but going by other cycles i should ov tomorrow or next day hopefully. struggling though as dh isn’t well so i feel like we won’t be dtd much and am quietly counting myself out already 😅

Hi everyone! Hope it’s okay to join ☺️ I got my peak LH today like @ddaisynner, so 1dpo will be Saturday for me too.

This is cycle 1 ttc #2 for me. It took a few cycles the first time round, so I’m anticipating another wait to be honest! Was super excited to see a LH surge though as I’m still breastfeeding my DS!

currently TTC baby no.2 , technically my second cycle trying. Had a miscarriage in April (wasnt activity trying to conceive just DTD when I had EWCM) . 5 or 6DPO, unsure as I had a LH Surge on the 8th of June and then peak on the 9th of June, also had really bad cramping the night of the 9th . Currently have really bad AF style cramps all evening . Getting a twinge in my breasts (quite deep within it feels) . Not speaking to anyone really about my symptoms as last month I was CONVINCED I was pregnant, had every symptom you can think of, and my period was 4days late. I think my miscarriage messed me up!! Hopefully this month is our month!! So hard waiting xx
