TTC- Month 1

Hey :),

Me and my DP have just started our TTC journey for baby #2, we already have our DD who is 18 months, and decided now would be a good time for us to try for #2!, he is very laid back.. I’m not so much. I came off of the pill last month and had a regular period end of last month and finished 1st of this month, I have been using Premom OPK’s this month and the flo app and found my peak LH 2 days ago on the OPK’s, had left side abdominal cramps yesterday so I’m pretty sure I ovulated. We DTD nearly every day (twice yesterday) since the day my fertile window began.

I'm super anxious and just wondered if there were any other women starting their TTC journey feeling the same!

DD was not planned, and I took 25+ pregnancy tests through the beginning of my pregnancy with her from when I found out, because of how bad my anxiety can get (I was so worried about loosing her as I found out I was pregnant super early, 3.5 weeks along). I’m a HUGE overthinking and I just wish I was more laid back like DP!

I know it’s only month 1 and it’s totally normal not to get pregnant for along time yet… I just hope
for the sake of my overthinking brain, it doesn’t take too long. But it is a game of mostly luck.

Hope to hear other women in the same boat or starting their journey, fingers crossed and sending baby dust to everyone, and for a BFP!

I don’t understand!!! I got a not pregnant this morning and 3 faint lines then this evening a pregnant 1-2 weeks! I now have no clue what’s going on

Omg just seen this!! YAY!!! That may have been faulty or maybe your urine was diluted or something!! Maybe just a false negative?! Still early on even tho ur a few days past ur mp but could be possible!!

afternoon.. 9dpo so will test again tomorrow morning with FMU at 10dpo and see, still got hope as I’m only early! Got days to get a positive yet (fingers crossed)

@Emilyadams98 test this morning with your FMU, hopefully it wasn't a indent for you :( I hate these dodgy tests!

I tested at 4am as needed to pee badly.. still nothing on cheapie sticks :(

@Emilyadams98 I'm soo sorry to hear this lovely :( how many DPO are you?

Only 10 still.. was just so sure I was pregnant I swear I felt implantation at 7dpo plus nausea and everything! I know I’m still in but just can’t help but give up hope 😭 how are you going sweet? Are you testing positive still?

@Emilyadams98 Its still super early especially if you felt you could of implanted at 7DPO. don't give up hope just yet.

I'm ok I just hate the uncertainty, managed to squeeze into a cancellation blood test yesterday so I'm hoping I will get my blood results today. I just have to try and be positive that nothing has happened yet so hopefully all is ok. Also I tested last night and was still positive, I will test again sunday to see if the clear blue had upped the weeks indicator. Thank you for asking. xx

I was sure of it! Felt really odd twinges on the side I ovulated.. going to test again tonight (I should wait a day or two I know but I won’t be able to not..) and then tomorrow morning, tomorrow evening etc until af twice a day testing, I have 1 FRER left that arrived early yesterday, so will keep that incase I get a positive cheapie easy@home!

argh I don’t blame you, you want to be excited but you can’t yet until you know what’s going on.. really hope everything is okay, good sign that you’re still getting positives!xx

Been having pulling/very bloated & heavy feelings on my lower stomach since yesterday.. so weird! I don’t recall ever getting these feelings before any other period (but I’ve always been bad with tracking periods because I was always on the pill until I’ve TTC, when I fell w DD I was off for 2 months to see what my body was like but I don’t remember pms so much.. not that I noticed anyways, maybe it’s just because I wasn’t paying attention like I am now.. so maybe this is just what it’s like for me before I have periods off of the pill as I’ve been on since I basically started my period because of extreme menstrual cramps! Praying we conceive this month otherwise it’s gonna be rough for me to experience those again..) I wonder if it will turn into a BFP, I was 4 days before my period was due with DD when I got a BFP on FRER

So think I must of been about 10dpo if I ovulated the same time in my cycle with DD as I have now.. and I’m 10 DPO today and nothing.. stark white! So weird, we have a new sofa being delivered today so I’ve been removing the old one, so I’ve really noticed this pulling feeling as I’ve been heavy lifting and doing a lot of physical activity

@Emilyadams98 oo that does sound positive, I found right at the beginning I felt super full and just a little bit crampy, but that's now stopped so who knows. I also had a fully clear at 10DPO with DD but this time it was soo faint. How are you feeling today?

Still nothing at 11pm 😞 done 2 easy@home’s and a frer this morning.. stark white again. Beginning to think I’m out this month… just waiting for af to arrive 😞 gutted and really not looking forward to starting it all over again next month. So much anxiety and stress and waiting. How are you doing sweet?xx

I am full of anxiety, I have been having a dull ache and honestly cant remember if it is normal. I'm trying not too worry though, so much anxiety and stress too xx

I'm currently waiting to ovulate to try cycle #2.

I'm just hopping on to see if anyone else is waiting to ovulate. I'm knee to all of this OPK malarkey. I never actively 'tried' with my other children, so this time I've found it quite regimental and sometimes not enjoyable!
