Would anyone like to join me? I have had 3 losses in the past year last one being 3 weeks ago. I saw a private doctor last week so waiting for results of blood tests and in the meantime she told me to keep trying so that's what we're doing! I'm hoping I might ovulate soon 🤞🏼

@Firsttimemumtobee hi and welcome ❤️ sorry for your losses. Did AF show? I would expect a positive to show by 14dpo unfortunately and sometimes you just feel different and know don't you

@MummaDaisy the weeks indicators take a lot of hcg so I'm not surprised it showed as not pregnant lovely. Did you get anymore frers? I take it still no AF?

My temp is on the downward trend this morning so AF is imminent

@bringmearainbow nope still not AF so I guess I’d be 4 weeks and 4 days today based on my LMP…

im relieved to know the weeks indicators take more hcg so that’s a bit of a sigh of relief. I haven’t taken anymore FRER but did do another cheap strip test last night and there’s definitely progression from the day before. - I’ll insert the picture

not sure I will buy anymore frer, but hoping to get a scan maybe later next week to check if everything is ok.

@MummaDaisy well that all looks like it's pointing to positive exciting news lovely 🥳 how are you feeling in yourself?

@J2023xx how you getting on with the opks?

OP posts:
MummaDaisy · 22/06/2023 14:12

@bringmearainbow it certainly does :) it’s a nice feeling when I was convinced it was another chemical just days ago. So I am happy and feeling more positive but after 3 MC’s there’s a lot of doubt still in my mind and I don’t want to get my hopes up.

I did my last test I had today and it’s even stronger since yesterday’s which is also a good sign and I’m starting to feel some symptoms but nothing major. Hoping I get to have a scan by July 3rd as I will be 6 weeks then - that should relax me more if it’s a good scan.

how is everyone else getting on? Hope you’re all ok x

Firsttimemumtobee · 22/06/2023 16:04

@bringmearainbow yes Af came today unfortunately! Not going to track ovulation or anything next month, just getting me down!

J2023xx · 23/06/2023 08:41

@bringmearainbow I think I’m ovulating today based off my OPKs over the past couple of days! There was nothing on CD10 and then suddenly on CD11 the surge started!

How are you doing? X

@MummaDaisy I totally get the apprehension keep going one day at a time ❤️

@Firsttimemumtobee ahhh rubbish. Sometimes it's nice not to track anything and just go with the flow.

@J2023xx ahhh excellent opks look good! have you managed to get some good shots in?

AF arrived today 🥳 hopefully that remaining tissue passes and we'll be good to try again this cycle. Looks like I'll O when we're on holiday so will have to be inventive with dtd as have toddler in tow 🙈

MummaDaisy · 23/06/2023 11:41

@bringmearainbow aw hopefully the next month goes quickly for you- I’ll be sending you sticky baby dust ❤️

im definitely taking it one day at a time trying to remember that TODAY I am pregnant and holding onto that❤️

sadly the pram we ordered for our baby that made it to 14 weeks is arriving today- we kept the order going as there was a long wait list and we got a good price so it’s bittersweet receiving it but also exciting that we have something for our future baby. but we are hopeful we are going to get our baby eventually so all the things we have for the baby will just be stored until he or she arrives 🥲

J2023xx · 23/06/2023 13:17

@bringmearainbow we have indeed, yesterday and today, a couple of days before that. Probably tomorrow too just to be safe haha!

bringmearainbow · 25/06/2023 08:37

@MummaDaisy ahhh lovely that's sad about your pram but like you say something to look forward to with the next ❤️ I was shocked when we ordered ours that they take an extraordinarily long time to come I thought you went and bought them off the shelf 🤦🏼‍♀️ we only just got ours in time before we had ds!

@J2023xx fed up of the tww yet 🙈 will you test early or wait it out?

OP posts:
MummaDaisy · 25/06/2023 08:45

Definitely! Can’t wait to be able to use it. Yeah I literally had no clue it would take so long so we ordered it just before we found out about the problems our baby had and decided not to cancel as it was going to take 4 months anyway 😅but hopefully I get a chance to use it next year 😬

bringmearainbow · 25/06/2023 19:26

I'm so confused AF has literally stopped since yesterday evening. I've had some pink when I wipe but other than that nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️ I was expecting a few days of heavy bleeding but I've had one light day and one fairly heavier than normal flow day and certainly nothing resembling retained tissue unless it's fallen in the loo

OP posts:
MrsJGrealish · 25/06/2023 19:31

@bringmearainbow seems too light..can you DTD to get things moving? 🙈

bringmearainbow · 25/06/2023 19:33

@MrsJGrealish yes that's a good shout didn't think of that! We're a bottle of champagne down so I don't think he will take much convincing to get sweaty in this heat 😂

OP posts:
MrsJGrealish · 25/06/2023 19:35

@bringmearainbow 😂😂 good luck..worked for me once xx

Also champagne..nice!! 😘

bringmearainbow · 25/06/2023 19:41

@MrsJGrealish it's def gone to my head slightly it's been a while since I drank 😂 xx

OP posts:
J2023xx · 25/06/2023 21:26

@bringmearainbow champagne, lovely! Hope you’re enjoying.

I have quite a short luteal phase usually around 11 days, I think I will test next weekend (couple of days before period due) as I’m seeing some friends Sunday and potentially may have a drink if AF is on the way! Just a week of work to get through until we know I guess! X

Ttcafterlosses · 25/06/2023 21:32

Hi all, sorry we are all part of this club and hopefully we get our rainbow babies soon. I too have had 3 losses and had my appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic this week. If I do manage to get pregnant again it’s progesterone aspirin and heparin for me

bringmearainbow · 26/06/2023 10:45

Well still no more AF 🙄 and cervix feels closed to me so looks like that's all I'm getting 🤷🏼‍♀️ got a scan booked on Friday so will see what's going on.

@J2023xx champers was very tasty 😂 ooh I have a 11 day lp too. Sounds like a good plan I love it when its a short amount of time to wait too

@Ttcafterlosses hi lovely sorry you're in this club 👋🏼 where are you in your cycle? When do you get results back from your tests?

OP posts:
Ttcafterlosses · 26/06/2023 12:09

My last loss was a few months ago but I haven’t managed to fall pregnant again and I am currently in AF week. I have my test results already I have APS and low progesterone

bringmearainbow · 26/06/2023 13:51

@Ttcafterlosses glad your results didn't take too long and you have some answers! Sometimes finding out what's wrong is a mission. I'll be on prednisolone, clexane and progesterone next time. Do you have any dc?

MrsC2018 · 26/06/2023 20:14

Hey @bringmearainbow 👋 I'm so sorry to see that you've had another loss.

I found I was pregnant again in Jan after 2 second trimester losses last year but after a bit of bleeding, found out in Feb that it was a caesarean scar ectopic. Took a month of intense monitoring and treatment and eventually surgery in March for it all to be resolved and I eventually got the all clear in May. Have been advised by the ectopic consultant to leave it 4-6 months to try again. Had the debrief from the 16 week loss and that consultant advised me to wait a year from the surgery.
However, I'm 40 in March so they've both told me I also have to weigh up the ongoing increased risk of miscarriage from my age so it's my decision when to try again, but leave 3 months from the methotrexate as a minimum.

I don't think I can leave the possibility of this third baby behind so plan to try again after this next period which will be 4 months post methotrexate. I can already feel the madness seeping in, I would quite like to pee on a stick for some reason 🤣

J2023xx · 27/06/2023 11:49

@MrsC2018 so sorry to hear your experiences but thank you for sharing with us ❤️

On a lighter note I 100% get the whole pee on a stick thing 😂

bringmearainbow · 28/06/2023 20:46

@MrsC2018 hey lovely so nice to hear from you ❤️ gosh I remember you really have been through it! I'm glad you're almost out the other side. I don't think I could wait either it really sucks when your getting older I def feel the clock slipping away 🙈 don't worry we'll keep you company on the poas madness
