Would anyone like to join me? I have had 3 losses in the past year last one being 3 weeks ago. I saw a private doctor last week so waiting for results of blood tests and in the meantime she told me to keep trying so that's what we're doing! I'm hoping I might ovulate soon 🤞🏼

@bringmearainbow yeah I tested at what I think was 7dpo this morning (could be more or less lol) but BFN. I knew that would be the case so I don’t know why I did it 😂
I wanna take a FRER but don’t wanna waste it as I honestly have no clue when I ovulated. I tested am and pm with opk’s but it never went as dark as control line so basing off the darkest line I got (Saturday pm) I would’ve thought I ovulated Sunday or Monday 🤷🏽‍♀️I’ve also had raised temp longer than that but dunno if it’s because of the weather 😂🥲

has anyone got any experience using the premom orange test strips? I feel like they’ve never been that sensitive and not sure wether those would pick up pregnancy early or would I be better off waiting to use those and doing a FRER on Wednesday as planned?

MummaDaisy · 14/06/2023 14:22

Hey everyone-
just to update I took a cheap strip test this morning and felt like I saw something so decided to use my first response at 9DPO and there’s a line!!!!
this is the same point I had my BFP last pregnancy too!
hopefully it’s a sticky baby and the lines progress 🤞🏽

it’s very hard to see in the photo but it’s definitely there and pink!

@MummaDaisy ahhhhh that's amazing and I can def see something ❤️ congrats! Will the EPU monitor you?

MummaDaisy · 14/06/2023 15:23

@bringmearainbow thank you so much❤️I wish it was stronger but that’s what I get for testing so early 😂

I requested my GP to refer me to the EPU - which is the hospital I work at and I’m there tomorrow so hopefully they’ll see me soon🤞🏽I’ve asked for hcg and progesterone and I think because my previous pregnancy had a chromosome abnormality they will monitor me closely - or at least for reassurance on my end I hope!

My partner is at work and I haven’t even told him yet 😬😂I really want to but he told me not to test for a while but I caved😂it’s also Father’s Day in a few days so it would be nice if suprise him…

bringmearainbow · 15/06/2023 14:35

Hey ladies well got my blood results today. Positive for protein c which is the blood clotting one so will be on clexane can't wait to inject those everyday for 8 weeks, my rheumatoid factor was also high which she said is something to do with autoimmune disease. She did say because I still have that bit of tissue it might be worth redoing the rheumatoid one in 4-6 weeks but in any case it's treated with steroids like my high antibodies. So going forward I will have my period repeat the ultrasound to see that hopefully there's no tissue left once there's no tissue do a repeat blood test for the rheumatoid factor and then see her again with the results. She's prescribed me steroids, blood thinners and progesterone for next positive. It's nice to have some answers

@MummaDaisy did you test again today? Handy you work at the hospital!

OP posts:
MummaDaisy · 17/06/2023 09:48

@bringmearainbow i know it’s not good news that one test have come back abnormal but at least the bright side is you’ll have something new to try when you TTC and this could very well be the remedy to your rainbow!

unfortunately I did test again 2 days after my first faint positive (yesterday) and there was no progression… the same happened last month and I got my period on time so I’m just waiting for my period to come now. I tested with cheap strips this morning and nothing has progressed and I feel like there’s nothing there now at 12DPO- I should’ve been seeing more by now.

pretty sure this is now my second chemical so 4th miscarriage. I feel so defeated. The last 2 months have been me getting my hopes up by early testing and then having it ripped away from me not even days later. I just feel like I can’t keep doing this but I’m conflicted because I want a baby.

Not sure wether my body needs a break. Or maybe my progesterone is not doing well since the 14 week miscarriage but nothing has stuck the last 2 months and I feel like giving up. I want to give my body a break but the wait just feels so long. Even the next TWW feels like years away.

I don’t know wether to keep trying because I feel heartbroken everytime.

sorry to being such a downer in this thread :( just hoped it would be my month and didn’t expect another chemical.

J2023xx · 17/06/2023 10:39

@MummaDaisy I’m so sorry and please don’t apologise, this is exactly the place for you to share how you’re feeling. We all understand in our different ways, I know exactly what you mean about waiting or taking a break but time when trying to conceive feels like forever doesn’t it.

Be kind to yourself this weekend xx

MummaDaisy · 17/06/2023 10:47

@J2023xx thank you❤️
it really is so hard :(
on the bright side I have my recurrent miscarriage clinic appointment on the 27th and your not supposed to be pregnant anyway.. but it still hurts.
hopefully they can figure out what’s wrong. I’ve never felt so empty than I do right now. It’s like I knew these things happen but I naively didn’t think it was going to be me- I always did everything right and I still do.

the appointment is only online so they won’t do much but hopefully I can give them background as I already have a few things I feel could be wrong…

J2023xx · 19/06/2023 12:21

Hi everyone how are you doing?

I’m on CD8, usually ovulate between CD12-14 but been around day 14 recently so getting ready to try again.

bringmearainbow · 19/06/2023 13:58

@MummaDaisy oh lovely I'm so sorry to hear that it's really crappy ❤️ sending love. Has AF started yet? I think our bodies can sometimes take a couple of months to recover. I totally get the frustration with waiting for that though I have never been good at waiting after. I had an enforced one in feb as DH went away in FW and it really upset me but probably did my body some good.

@J2023xx oooh that's fab! Better get busy. 🙊 Have you started opks?

I'm just waiting for AF hopefully she's going to arrive weds or Thurs and then if she could make sure she expels that left over tissue too that would be great 🤞🏼😬

OP posts:
MummaDaisy · 19/06/2023 15:34

@bringmearainbow
thanks❤️ No AF hasn’t started yet but predicted for tomorrow and feeling a bit crampy so assume she is on her way😫

just want it to start already so I can get on with my next cycle 😫

J2023xx · 19/06/2023 18:27

@bringmearainbow @MummaDaisy I totally get the whole wanting AF to just arrive, that’s how I felt when I was on holiday.

Just did the first OPK this afternoon, quite low at the moment so shall see how it goes over the next few days x

bringmearainbow · 19/06/2023 19:31

@MummaDaisy Hopefully she hurries along and doesn't keep you waiting ❤️

@J2023xx hopefully that will turn positive soon 🤞🏼 I have a super quick rise and fall so pee on so many sticks to find it

OP posts:
MummaDaisy · 20/06/2023 06:41

@J2023xx @bringmearainbow its just such a drag now! 😫today is cd31. Still no period but quite bad cramps. I haven’t bothered testing since Friday since I knew the light tests weren’t a good sign but have been up all night and can’t sleep so I did a cheap test and there’s a line and it is stronger than it was on the cheap strips 4 days ago BUT still not an obvious positive. Just so faint. Not sure what on Earth is going on. I feel pregnant but my tests are telling me it’s not a viable pregnancy and the cramping is telling me AF is coming ! 😫😫

now I’m just so worried it’s ectopic! The hcg isn’t rising properly, no period and quite bad cramping…

Rtmhwales · 20/06/2023 06:55

@MummaDaisy Have you checked with different tests? I've had very very similar results as you on FRER and thought I was having chemicals. I think they're just indents as I'm doing weekly blood tests and even testing on the days I get those faint lines the HCG comes back as 0.

bringmearainbow · 20/06/2023 07:02

@MummaDaisy if it was me I'd go out and get a proper test. The cheap strips are handy for serial testing but I have found them lacking occasionally for line progression. Also it could be worth a call to your EPU mine were very good after I had 2 MC and said they would monitor me for next pregnancy. next time I was pregnant they started off with a few blood tests to check hcg was rising properly before getting scanned when the time was right. AF type cramping is also totally normal for early pregnancy too it's a total 🤯

OP posts:
MummaDaisy · 20/06/2023 08:43

@Rtmhwales @bringmearainbow i haven’t used a proper test since Friday. I used an frer and wasn’t pleased with the 2 day progression so just assumed it was gonna end with AF.

I have however used two different brands of the strip test and nothing. Of course my wee could be diluted but surely not this much - surely the day of my missed period should give me an obvious line😅

even then, it would take 2 days to even get another frer to my house.

when I first got my positive last week, I did contact my GP to refer me to the epu but haven’t heard back yet… might have to give them a call

MummaDaisy · 20/06/2023 12:56

Well guys it’s official I’ve lost my mind and I am so very confused.
still haven’t managed to sleep. Did all the tests I have in my house lol and they’re all now stronger but still faint! It seems like it’s progressing extremely slow!!

did a clear blue digital and it says not pregnant but EVERY other brand of test I’ve used has faint lines. I’ve used FRER, Premom, freedom, and boots. They’re all positive- despite being faint right now.

I’ll attach some photos let me know what you think. I thought this was a chemical but still no AF and now the tests are slowly progressing. But since I’m due AF now shouldn’t they be strong lines?

Called EPU and they’re being useless saying they won’t even test hcg until they scan me.. I had a breakdown over the phone 😫she said she will call me back but I’m still waiting 🙄

bringmearainbow · 20/06/2023 19:44

@MummaDaisy I agree I think the lines should be stronger esp as you had a faint positive last week ☹️ could be a chemical and it's just taking a few more days to come away maybe. It's a shame your EPU won't start with bloods sending lots of love it's so confusing ❤️

OP posts:
MummaDaisy · 20/06/2023 21:36

@bringmearainbow yeah it certainly is a weird situation. Not quite sure what to believe.
my mum suggested I take another frer as I haven’t since Friday and it is a whole lot more positive.

my body is playing tricks on me like crazy today😂😅it’s not as strong as my previous pregnancy tests at the same DPO BUT my hcg in that pregnancy was 150% the average due to our girl having turners syndrome so maybe less positive is a good thing?

today is a nightmare I’m so exhausted trying to figure out if I am pregnant or not but tests seem to be getting stronger now🤷🏽‍♀️It started slow but what if it’s getting going now

ill insert a picture of the frer in comparison to the last one I did

TTC after recurrent loss
bringmearainbow · 21/06/2023 07:08

@MummaDaisy oh wow now that's so strange. That frer is def a nice positive for where you are. Tbh I've only ever used frer to look at progression as I feel they show a clear difference. If you hadn't taken all those other tests and tested early and you got that line on the frer from yesterday how would you feel? Would you be questioning it? I would be feeling positive after seeing that frer ❤️

OP posts:
bringmearainbow · 21/06/2023 07:10

@MummaDaisy that digital you did was it a weeks indicator? Or early detection?

OP posts:
Firsttimemumtobee · 21/06/2023 08:16

Hi everyone, I'd love to join!
Had 2 losses, a mc at 11w3 at the end of April, followed by a cp the following cycle. AF is due tomorrow, been cramping and had some spotting.. not just had that feeling that I'm pregnant this time, which I did the others. Had several BFN tests already, last one yesterday, which I feel should be positive by now? 14dpo today.

Congratulations on your positive @MummaDaisy ☺️

MummaDaisy · 21/06/2023 09:10

@bringmearainbow yeah I definitely feel there’s been a LOT of progression, I just wish I had done them more often because I feel like I need to compare how fast it has progressed.
i do feel a lot more positive and still no AF.🤷🏽‍♀️

the digital was a weeks indicator- I’ve never used one before. Not entirely sure how they work or if they’re as sensitive as the frer.

@Firsttimemumtobee aw thank you❤️Sorry for your losses :(
