@SimplyChic it can be... I had this with implantation/when my period would be due with my last pregnancies... Hormones do interesting things to your system! Fingers crossed it's that and not a bug!

mommabear64 · 20/06/2023 16:36

Had the same! I never get it eother. I'm holiday and the shits aint fun. Boo

SimplyChic · 20/06/2023 18:44

Been feeling so hot today, so sat in the garden for some breeze so I thought I'd take my temperature, it says about 39 degrees!! Not sure if the weather makes a difference but I'm usually only about 35.30, maybe it's broken but I've only used it several times for BBT then left it for a while! DH said he isn't hot and usually he always is.

ekm21 · 20/06/2023 20:44

Had almost the identical thing happen to me last Wednesday. I’ve only just come off my pill so I really don’t think I’ll be pregnant but I was Googling as I think I’d be around 6/7DPO when mine happened too! AF due Friday and trying to just put it out my mind til then

BB2023 · 21/06/2023 18:49

Hope everyone is feeling a bit better now! x

Is anyone else symptom spotting like mad? I promised myself I wouldn't, but I can't seem to help myself (and have ordered first response to test at 8 dpo just before my period is due)... I'm so impatient!

Yeah I can’t help it :( trying to keep myself distracted but it doesn’t help when EVERYTHING is a pregnancy symptom according to dr Google.

Hotmalibu94 · 22/06/2023 07:28

I've been symptom spotting obsessively here!

Backache, grumpy, heartburn, huge fatigue and clear stretchy mucus have been the symptoms of the last couple of days.
9DPO today 🤞

mommabear64 · 22/06/2023 09:01

@Hotmalibu94 same. I've been really emotional and still wet stretchy cm. Also so tired but i can't rest coz we're on holiday snd sight seeing every day 🙄😩

Poppins2016 · 22/06/2023 12:39

I felt a bit crampy (coinciding with a BBT temperature dip) yesterday/this morning... keeping fingers crossed, but very much aware that it could all be coincidence! Plus, it would be quite early for implantation (but I coincidentally had the same early dip with my last pregnancy and I think it must have been early implantation because I tested positive, very clearly, at 8dpo....). Hmm... 🤔

Laura7899 · 22/06/2023 13:55

Had a doctors appointment this morning and she said if we’ve been successful this round I’ll need to take progesterone and aspirin, also if it’s not positive she said we’ll have to take a break to get my bloods back to baseline before we try again as I’ll need to attend a recurring miscarriage clinic (had MMC in March and chemical last month) I didn’t think the chemical would ‘count’ in germs of the referral but it does, feeling pretty deflated atm, sorry for the rant it’s just good to get these things out

Sorry haven't seen your previous replies just this one. I had my first ever MMC in may, never thought it could happen to me absolutely broken by it. Stopped bleeding 6th june, ovulated 17th June and now 5dpo with heavy cramps wondering if it's still effects of the mmc or could this poss be a quick new pregnancy 🤔 also if I do get preg again I will be given progesterone they said and I was prescribed aspirin anyway because of chronic hypertension. But yeah the guidelines now are you should get progesterone even after only one MC. Fingers crossed for us this month

Laura7899 · 22/06/2023 14:07

Thanks @Kellyaust & sorry for your loss I too thought it would never happen to me. I felt like the Dr this morning just threw a load of information at me it’s the thoughts of having to stop trying to wait for the recurring Mc clinic appointment that’s really getting to me, my AMH is on the lower end for my age so I really feel like I’m up against it, l fingers and toes crossed for us both this month i’m 5DPO today so still early days

Kellyaust · 22/06/2023 16:34

@Laura7899 hmmmm how long do they expect you to stop trying for? How old are you if you don't mind me asking? I won't wait coz I'm 38 now so time isn't on my side... I'm also 5dpo good luck to us 🤞

Laura7899 · 22/06/2023 16:47

@Kellyaust it all depends on how long the referral takes, tried calling the maternity hospital there to get a general idea of how long the wait is and they couldn’t tell me, hopefully it’s not too long. I’m 33 but with the low amh time really isn’t on my side, fingers crossed though trying to stay positive

Kellyaust · 22/06/2023 17:15

@Laura7899 how did you get your amh checked I've not had mine done so no idea where mines at

Laura7899 · 22/06/2023 18:21

@Kellyaust I had to pay privately to have it done I’m in ROI and it cost about €85 to have it done, it’s done via a blood test

Kellyaust · 22/06/2023 19:51

@Laura7899 ah I've just checked, I'm in England, I can do it online and I was looking out of curiosity about if it's possible to increase them.... And this came up.... If its any help

You can encourage your body to naturally raise levels of AMH by eating a diet which is rich in necessary nutrients, such as vitamin D. There is also research that shows women taking the micronutrients present in Impryl actually experienced increased AMH levels.

BB2023 · 22/06/2023 20:30

Sorry to hear about your losses ladies. Fingers crossed for you both that you get your rainbow babies soon x 💖

8DPO tosay, feels like time is really dragging! I only have one test so I'm trying to hold out until Monday when I'll be 12DPO. Very difficult! x

So I'm back in the group after BFN!
Got flashing smiley this morning on clearblue advanced.
Any recommendations when to DTD going forward please?

Husband seems to struggle a bit with the pressure these days so it's not as easy to just do it all the time 😫😫 any advice in this area too?
I'm trying not to make a big deal of peak times and tell him it's ok when he doesn't manage to finish (when I'm actually crying inside!)

AnonyHB · 23/06/2023 10:28

Similar to me - husband doesn't like the pressure/forced feeling of having sex at a particular time. It is more noticeable for us as usually would only have sex every couple of weeks, so it is out of the norm for us to DTD every other day on my fertile week!

Exactly the same! This is the hardest part - excuse the pun!

Same for us. We used to DTD once every week or so and now feels like we're craming it all into one week!
I don't tell him when I'm OV to try to keep the pressure off but he must know 🤣
