Hi all I'm just wondering if anyone can help me . So I'm cycles are a bit all over the place they range from 28 / 32 days . Some months there like clock work and every 29 days then others I'm out by a few days
So this month me and my partner have both decided to track my ovulation as we've been trying for a while now and still nothing has happened .... So I'm new to this so if anyone has some advice please help a lady out. Also I've attached my tests . Does this look normal and when will I start to see dark lines ?

Thought id jump on this post, as me and DH have just started TTC our first baby. I came off my contraceptive pill on 03/5 and have my first withdrawal bleed on 6/5 lasting 5 days but very light. I only starting tracking my ovulation on CD 10 and have been using easy @ home ovulation tests and have downloaded the premom app to help track.

From what I've been reading, once you start to get a high result you should start having sex (as sperm can live for upto 5days) and specifically on the day of your peak and day after as the peak result indicates ovulation within the next 24-48 hours.

I've also read that you should start testing from the day of your last period day up until you've peaked and then for a few days afterward. And then wait until your next period and start again if not successful..

I think I've missed this month ovulation, as after googling I read you can ovulate as early as 48 hours after coming off the pill, so think I'll need to wait until next month after my first proper period to aid any results. Strangely, I did experience some vaginal mucus (TMI sorry!) two days after my bleed. Which can be an indication of ovulation.. but I'll continue tracking for the rest lf this month just incase as I'm still only CD12.

I have read it's not advised to test in the mornings. But advisable to test early afternoon and early evening if you wish to test twice. X

I wouldn't wait till it's high to have intercourse - some people can be very low then shoot high peak super quick. I have a small lead up but others don't. Although if you keep tracking you'll get the gist of your cycle quite quickly if it's regular.

my mucus seems to come cycle day 16 every month which is when we will ramp up intercourse then my peak is cycle day 18/19 so that's almost my warning to get going 😄

I would test for the month while your trying to suss your cycle but now I know mine is usually later on I start around cycle day 10 until peak (gets to expensive!) only testing twice around when it's going up . But everyone's different and I was quite obsessive at first while I was learning .

That's still not high enough. Ignore the front page as mine was off when I was first using and it was getting to know my cycles . Maybe another day or two if you have a steady increase HOWEVER some people do just shoot up and down very quickly I've seen here.

My opk strips can sometimes be totally negative in the morning then by evening have shot up to super positive. The front page is just an estimate but I also ignore it as never seems to be accurate 😂

I tested again it's gone up to 41 now , does that sound promising oh ok it's only changed since I put my opk test on this morning because it's jumped from like 0.7 to 30 then 41 x

Ooh that sounds v promising! If I was you I'd be testing again about 4/5pm and then just before bed too.. but I am a serial tester 😂 fingers crossed this is the start of your peak! Xx

How did you know what I had planned for my evening, I think I'm going to be a serial tester 😂😂I hope it is xx

Omg really 🥰❤️ ok I'll keep testing I've been worried I'm not ovulating 😂 what am I like 😂 I'll keep you up to date xx

Yeah this was mine one month. Lh was rising over 3 days and confirmed I defs ovulated with bbt increase. It's so interesting when you start tracking and learn more about your body! X

Yes! Perhaps test twice a day now as you should see another rise soon and then eventually it will go back down. Male sure you test for a day or two after you get a high result to make sure you catch your peak

Doesn't start saying high until it gets over 0.8!
Your peak will likely be above 1
