Feeling like a fool took a test only 8dpo! Snap me out of it!!!

So I'm 8dpo, and swore up and down I wouldn't test until my AF was late this time. I've never tested this early before, but this month I've had absolutely none of the symptoms I've previously thought would result in a bfp.

I usually get sore boobs say after ov, and a large amount of creamy cm on 4/5dpo. This month I've had absolutely none of that, and I got it in my head that maybe this lack of symptoms was a good sign. I know I'm definitely not our yet, just feel like a t@#! for even bothering to poas.

Anyway, trying to keep my hope alive, has anyone got a bfp in the month where they didn't have their usual tww symptoms (which I guess means it's usual pms)....

I got mine at 5 weeks 2 days - isn’t that 7 has PO? I had an early scan at 5 weeks 5 days and saw a heartbeat

I think 5 weeks is around 20 dpo. Congratulations! What a joy to see a heartbeat so early 💓

😂😂😂 this is me every month!! I've learned to just embrace the crazy and stock up on cheap tests lol.

I've been having indents for the last two days and I'm 8dpo too without my usual symptoms

I found the picture I was 3 weeks so 7 days DPO 😂

I'm using wondfo, premom and easy at home.. couple of frers saved to confirm IF I get any faint lines. Not sure why I thought I wouldn't start testing early when I have about 50 tests in the bathroom 🤣😅 hopefully lack os usual symptoms is a good sign for us both, let's keep in touch cus I know I'll be poas first thing tomorrow. Embracing the crazy 🤣

I'm trying to brew a wee for a pre bed test😂😂😂

And I have my sacred FRER for if the day comes I get a positive on a cheapy 💁🏻‍♀️

It drives me mad thst I have zero control over my actions 🥴🥴

@overthinkersanonnymus omg I've been sat here thinking the same thing hahaha I'm thirsty but I ain't drinking nothing, will do another mental testing sesh in a couple hours. What a wild Friday night 🤣

Me too! Exactly the same. I’m 8dpo. Convinced myself that the cramping was a sign and caved and tested. Of course, Snow White :( and I got sad. Whoops. After two days ago I said on here that I wouldn’t test until 8/04 I can’t believe I’ve done it already 😂

Lol I was exact same. Totally convinced myself I'd hold out until af due next week but caved... I just wanna be one of those women that get a nice early sticky positive!!

Cramping at 8dpo could be implantation though! I haven't even had a hint of a symptom when I have every other month...

I never had any symptoms when I was pregnant. The only thing I had every time was a really dry mouth on waking up the day of my BFP, the sort you get when you've had a salty takeaway the night before.

My earliest positive test was Day 11, the latest was Day 15. I've been pregnant 4 times.

currently 9 DPO, and was negative this morning. Had some symptoms, but my boobs aren’t even sore yet! I didn’t think I would get a BFP, but couldn’t help myself reaching for the test this morning. Worth noting that last month tested positive at 17 DPO but then had a chemical.

Im 35 and trying for baby number 1 as well. Nothing came up on this mornings test. Don’t suppose you know how sensitive those strips are? I’m using the same and can’t figure out if they detect around 10 HCG, or 25 HCG

@GlitterDragon I think they're officially 25 but they're advertised as 10 which is sneaky!!

@overthinkersanonnymus Thats very sneaky. And there was me thinking I had saved some money on FRER test!

Have you got any wondfos? They're definitely more sensitive than premom and I've never had a nasty evap with them! Mind you, never had a hint of any line with them lol

This will be my first and I'm 32, all 3 of my younger brothers were born when my mum was between 35-42 so I'm sure it will happen! It's just disheartening when you feel like you might have left it a bit late to get pregnant quickly. This is month 6 for us as well. Baby dust xxx

Faint line or slow decent into madness?
Tested just now, so not FMU

They defo look like faint lines to me are they all separate tests? I had bfn this morning with fmu and then poas after napping most of the day and got the faintest of shadows, nothing as good as what I'm seeing on your tests!

@Pbubz It’s the same test in different lighting. We will see what tomorrow morning brings!
I’m trying to not get my hopes up after the chemical last month. Felt a lot of the metalic mouth taste I had last month, starting to feel sore boobs, twinges on my right ovary side where I ovulated. Also feel like I could punch a nun / blind with rage.

@GlitterDragon punch a nun with blind rage made me laugh out loud. My younger brother is in Thailand and my mum read a message out from him and I burst into tears like someone had died!!! Sorry about your chemical, I've had one too which is why I swore I wouldn't test early this month (although with the chemical I only got a faint line on 12dpo).

I'm going to try and hold off testing tomorrow (HA already know that's a lie who am I kidding). I had stark BFNs this morning and shadows in the early evening so might try and hold off until tomorrow evening.

Fingers crossed for both of us. Your test does look good though, nice and pink!
