Hi anyone else in the dreaded waiting weeks?

Im having a crazy cycle this month so I think I’m 6 DPO but could be 2 DPO as I had 2 LH surges on my Premom OPKs. Trying to not get my hopes up!

Symptoms: back ache, lower belly cramps with aching around upper thighs, sore and full breasts, fatigue.

Not due AF till next Sunday so I have a wait to go!

I'm a bit confused today cos I was expecting a temp shift this morning after getting a positive opk on Saturday, but it's still low, so I've no idea if I'm still waiting for ovulation or what, none of my signs pointing to actually ovulating yet, hopefully not a long confusing cycle coming up 😂

So more dtd for us later again.. I'm sure hubby isn't too sad about that!

My cars in the garage today so just waiting to hear what's going on with that and how much it'll be to hopefully fix it! And work is busy so just same old over here!

Hi Everyone! Interesting so many of us are having the vivid dreams. I usually don’t remember dreams at all but have had a few this week that I can recall. Lots of dreams about exes! No idea what that means lol.

@suz2285 I had a weird month this month too with lots of mini peaks! Very strange. And usually I ovulate around day 15-16 but this month was 3 days earlier. Will be interesting to see if AF shows up earlier or on time! I don’t ‘feel pregnant anymore’

So I have a 2 1/2 year old so thought I’d try and remember symptoms I have before I found out I was having him.
-vivid dreams
-weird metallic taste especially with plain water
-extremely fatigue, like coming home from work and having dinner and then straight to bed
-cramps at the time of AF but she never showed! Each day it felt like yes today AF is definitely coming but then nothing

We used preseed back then as I don’t produce enough EWCM but right now we are using conceive plus so I hope it works the same!! My endo has got worse the past 2 years and so I’m not sure if that is hindering us

@Tophy124 how long have you been TTC number 2?

My early symptoms last time were extremely sore boobs, really strong sense of smell and headaches!
Definitely also had cramps that felt exactly like I was about get AF but then it never appeared. I had cramps for a few weeks after that too! felt like AF was about to arrive for a good 2-3 weeks!

I did another OPK today and it's very low, so I def had a peak on Sat, so i'm assuming i've ovulated just waiting for the BBT to rise (hopefully tomorrow) if not then i'll keep OPK again to see if there's any other peaks! it's a lot of confusion isn't it! Even if you do everything right you might not get that BFP.... messes with your mind!

@suz2285 It’s slightly complicated, as I’ve been off contraception since I had my toddler in 2020 but we were actively avoiding trying until around Christmas as I had major surgery last year. So I’d say since December we have been trying but this was the first month we tried the SMEP method.

I think the months where you tried really hard and it still doesn’t work are the hardest!

@Tophy124 yeah it's hard when you do everything right! I use fertility friend app and it gives you a 'score' based on timing around ovulation which i find helpful...

I also read a lot of stuff about how it's only around 25-30% chance of a pregnancy even if you do everything right each cycle

And then obv In my case once you get pregnant that doesn't mean it's fine after that! Such a mine field... I'm really glad there's places like this online to chat to others as I'm not speaking to anyone in real life about any of this!

@Tophy124 almost identical to us. I haven't been on pill since 2020 but started to try Jan and started SMEP this month x

I’m also not talking to anyone in real life about this, as I just don’t want questions or feeling pressured. I’ve already had some friends make really ignorant comments when they have only just had their first babies and I’m sick of people saying ‘be grateful for what you have.’ I just had a CP and only told my best friend via text who was supportive about it.

@Tophy124 yeah totally understand that, I had told one friend I was pregnant and then after my MC I was so glad I hadn't told anyone else, and I didn't want anyone 'waiting' for an announcement or constantly asking how I was etc

My sister keeps asking when I'm having babies and telling me I just need to have a lot of sex which is annoying but without going into details I don't want to explain to her!

Online is 100% more supportive and less annoying 😂

@suz2285 sp sorry to hear about your MC.

‘Just have sex’ well shucks, which we had thought of that!! Or ‘you should track your ovulation’ yeah duh!

Im back to the weird one sided cramps again today but I know I have a cyst that side. It feels like the cramps are in my ovary and also where my body meets my leg (if that makes sense)

Hope you don't mind me jumping on here. I have been reading all the messages as I am also in the middle of my TWW. I unfortunately miscarried at around 6 weeks on 14th Feb, tracked my ovulation this month as I was worried it would take weeks/months for everything to go back to normal, luckily I got my peak between 2nd-4th.

I was very cool, calm and collected about it all until it came to the TWW 🤦. I was luckily distracted last week as we went away at the weekend but now we're back I'm like a woman possessed 😂. I tested this morning with one step and got a line not too dissimilar to yours @TwistedCherry with my FMU. This has driven me crazy all day, I've done so many more one step tests and all negative but I think as I'm only 8DPO according to pre-mom, without it being my first wee of the day then the hormones weren't strong enough. Finally gave in and went and got a boots early detection this evening and got a very very faint line so I'm hoping this progresses.

When I got my first positive in January the line was this faint even though I tested the day after my period was due, so I'm hoping with it already showing as a line 5 days before AF is due then this pregnancy might have a better outcome!

Like I said, hope you don't mind me jumping on here with my huge dose of verbal diarrhoea 🫣

@GH9687 welcome. Got my fingers crossed for you, you are just a few days in front of me. Fingers crossed we all get a lovely line this month!!

I'm 6DPO today will likely crack and test on Friday when I'm 10 x

Hey I’m 5dpo today. OPK said I ovulated on day 21 which is a bit late but I only restarted my periods in October after the birth of my son in March. I’m also breastfeeding. I didn’t get any ewcm tho which is worrying me.

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 so many people are saying about vivid dreams! I didn't even know it could be related! I'm good thank you!

@suz2285 hope you've had a good day & the car was cheap to fix! Sorry for your loss with your MC❤️, Re your low temp, two days after my peak (I have a rapid peak so only one positive OPK) I had a low temp but has now been gradually rising and I've seen any number of external factors can affect your temp so fingers crossed you'll see a rise tomorrow 🤞🏽

@Tophy124 people that comment on anyone else's circumstances in a non-supportive way drive me insane. I really think that everything in life is about relevance and individual circumstances and at the end of the day you never know what someone else is going through so they shouldn't comment, sorry you've had to encounter people who haven't been kind or sensitive. I'm so sorry you had to endure a CP❤️ I also dont produce much EWCM and DH went to grab the Durex last week on the day of peak (we're cycle 1 so newbies to this) I ended up having to Google whether it was safe in the midst of DTD (incase anyones unaware- it's NOT ok whilst TTC😂) if this month isn't our time, I'll grab some preseed for next month.

Hi @Pregas I don't naturally get much EWCM and according to some threads I've read on here & whattoexpect some people get pregnant without having a noticeable amount 😊

@GH9687 also when I’ve had an Evap line it was only on the cheap internet tests and another time on a FRER but never 2 in a day!! So I think this sounds like you are pregnant! And 8DPO is v early!! So hopefully that line is going to get darker and darker.

Is anyone else planning to test this week?

@Pregas try not to worry too much about the EWCM but I’ve heard good things about starflower oil (supplement) and preseed or conceive plus (both lube that won’t damage sperm)

It barely shows on photos, but it was the same last time so I'm hoping it continues to develop 😬

@KIWI2023 hi, thank you for your message. What worried me was that my xl was creamy rather than egg white

@Tophy124 @KIWI2023 we also used pre seed after a similar incident followed by googling! We just used it as normal lube, didn't go as far as using the syringes!
