I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

Hello Treats, from what I've read that absolutely could be implantation bleeding, how very exciting for you!! I'm 8dpo and have no sign of anything yet. Bah.

MrsEi25 · 12/02/2008 14:30

thanks treats and NOAM its weird but all the way through the sale of ours and trying to buy the dream house(sounds a bit barbie-esque) i have been saying i dont feel as if we are supposed to buy this house something feels 'off' if you get me. ive got my eye on another one now aswell as a 'second place' kinda house and we are goin to view it tonight so hopefully we will end up loving this house more and going for this one the only thing is we have paid out nearly £1000 on the purchase of the other one and we cant really afford to throw that money away iv decided that when we move im staying put for the forseeable future!!! no more moving for me thanks!!!
MOB nice to see you back i posted to you on the 2ww aswell but thought i would here too
xx ei xx

Treats · 12/02/2008 14:31

NOAM - I was hoping someone would laugh me off the board for suggesting it as I've now been obsessing about it - have mostly been googling 'implantation bleeding' all day..... I even rang DH at work to tell him - he was a bit taken aback!

Not sure when to test. I really want DH to be there, but he's away for a week from Sunday - it'll be too soon before he goes and I don't think I can wait until he gets back. I've got a day off work next Wednesday which is the day that AF is due to visit, so I might do it then. I'll keep you posted.......

MrsEi25 · 12/02/2008 14:32

oh yeah sorry i missed...treats ooooooh it could well be implantation i said yesterday one of our 'regulars' was going to get a BFP before thursday i bet it is you!!!
xx ei xx

mibbes · 12/02/2008 16:44

Treats that sounds very much like an imp bleed to me - apparently they can happen as early as 5dpo but most likely between 8 and 12. LOL at you phoning DH to tell him ! If you test Sunday you'll be over 10dpo which can be enough for BFP with FMU - although if you are really worried about seeing BFN maybe best to wait unti next Wed. Are you impatient ???
never I have my fingers crossed that there were swimmers in there when you ov'd. At least if AF does show up (which I sincerely hope she doesn't)) you can be sure that next cycle you'll have a far better chance of catching the egg with opks and temps
MOB lovely to see you back - are you feeling better now ? It does get more exciting when ov approaches .
MrsEi I am a strong believer in "what is for you won't go by you" - I got my dream house 18 months ago and it all happened due to a string of strange coincidences so I just knew it was meant to be
No more symptoms from me - have been trying hard to imagine some but not a dicky bird - only 4dpo though !

MrsEi25 · 12/02/2008 16:57

Oufton · 12/02/2008 17:00

Hurray for MrsEi25, fingers crossed there's no more obstacles now!

BabyFever · 12/02/2008 17:04

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It good to be amongst people who know how it feels to m/c - i don't seem to know anyone in rl who has, maybe people just don't talk about it.

Anyway, my coping strategy is to get pregnant again asap, even though they say to wait till you have had a period before trying again, the 2WW is bad enough without having to wait a month first!

So who knows, I could even be pregnant again now...

Think I'll stay off the list until af does or doesn't arrive though, cos no idea really of what cd I am. Second thoughts, I'll do this (best guess)

BabyFever - I know that I've been surprised in the past by people who've casually admitted to a miscarriage when previously I'd had no idea. This has happened a couple of times - mostly from women who've finally given birth and are now happy to admit to the effort and trauma they've gone through to get there, but would never have breathed a word about it at the time.

It's a bit the same with me - publicly I'm still noisily proclaiming that I'm not even sure that I want kids while busily bd'ing behind closed doors. When (IF???) I finally announce my pregnancy there's going to be some very surprised people!!

But I'm sure it must be very isolating for you at the moment, and I hope that the forum helps. but I hope you've got other sources of support and help to get you through. Conception is very stressful and you don't want the extra pressure of using it to get over your m/c as well

EI Glad that fate has planned the way...Dream house and a new house baby I hope!!
Treats Fingers crossed for an implantation bleed.
Babyfever I hope that you don't have to add yourself back to the TTC list but to the graduation list instead .. best of luck!
Mibbles and Oufton I hope the pg symptoms start appearing and that time passes quickly and you can test.
Piper Been thinking about you .. where are you hiding? Really hoping AF hasn't got u!
Madoldbird Welcome back. Hope you are feeling better. If you need to chat we're all here.
Hi to everyone else!
No news here really...day 8..i've gained a few days somewhere. Ordered some OV sticks yday so will be using them for the first time soon. Any tips? I'm not temping.

mibbes · 12/02/2008 20:05

SparklyMummy my top tip for opks is to test twice a day on the days just before you think you ov. I had a temp dip then no +ve opk (was testing at 6pm) so decided the following morning to test and got +ve, then +ve again that evening and the following morning. That way you get more warning - but unless you use cheapies I guess it is quite pricey. I use CB Digital opks and they seem good . It is also worth remembering that not everyone gets +ve opk but still ovulate and others get +ve but don't - it is not a sure-fire thing. Best to combine with charting temps or if you'd rather not make sure you are on EWCM-watch !
MrsEi hurray for dream house - when you due to exchange ?
Treats I am in the same boat as you. When/if I tell people they will be so as have been saying for some time now that we are not having a family (it was true until last October when had PG-scare and realised I wanted a baby afterall !) I can't wait to see their faces

MrsEi25 · 12/02/2008 20:15

mibbes hopefully if all goes to plan we will be exchanging within 4 weeks i cant wait now
xx ei xx

SparklyMummy · 12/02/2008 20:18

I don't get EWCM or not enough to notice..isit day 8 in my cycle too late to start charting? I'm not even sure I am OV...my periods have been so weird and we've been having unprotected sex for over 18 months..worried I might have PCOS or annovulatory cycles so want to find out if I am OV at all. You know once you get +ve OPK do you have sex then or try to before you get result? When is best time?

Emmsy1 · 12/02/2008 20:27

I think that some women feel really embarassed about miscarriage, they feel as though they have failed 'as a woman' that's what the doc told me anyway!!
Treats I had one implantation spot of blood mixed in with mucus with my last pregnancy, that was at 7 DPO so it sound very similar to what I had! fingers, eyes and toes crossed for you x

Emmsy1 · 12/02/2008 20:30

mibbes how many days past 'o' are you?

Noam My periods range from 28-35 days...I haven't been getting periods like I used to though..I'm going to do some OPKs this month and then temp next month and if I don't think i'm OV I think I might visit the GP. Should get my OPKs tomorrow. Got 30 cheapies from Ebay so will start doing 2 a day once they arrive.
We are going away tomorrow night as early Valentines to a hotel called Gliffaes...it's beautiful. Hope to get some swimmers ready and waiting for the egg lol!

MrsEi25 · 12/02/2008 21:06

I feel I've been neglecting my lovely girls here in the waiting room since my diagnosis. I've been completely self absorbed in my own problems to notice anyone else.
