I have brought the list across, fluffed the cushions and put some nice tea to brew. I baked muffins and biscuits too, help yourselves.

NOAM 'tis true: a line is a line. It's pretty normal to get a faint one first so congratulations.

fruitloop79 · 18/02/2008 08:23

Morning, I have officially become a serial tester. No surprises that this morning's was a BFN. I've gotta stop this. I know I'm not pg I just get a little inkling now and again. Couldnt finish a meal yesterday (unlike me), emotional and felt a little sick this morning. So i put 2 and 2 together and get 300. Of course I was off my food yesterday and of course I feel a little sick this morning - It was obviously down to my drinking binge on Sat night, DUH! COME ON FLIPPING AF YOU HORRIBLE THING!!!!!!

Eleveld · 18/02/2008 08:23

Back to CD1 for me today .

I'm slightly worried about the length of my luteal phase now. I got a +OPK on CD12 so, if I ovuldated I think the latest it would have been is CD 14 (?).

I started spotting on CD 24 although only got proper AF today (would have been CD27).

Do you think starting spotting only 9/10 days after ovulation is a problem? Or do you ignore tehespotting days and only go from proper AF (which would mean LP of c12 days)

Thanks

Morning all,

piper I'm so sorry That is just terrible news. Look after yourself

NOAM I'll whisper congrats too for now. I'll congratulate you properly when you decide to graduate.

FL Sorry you are still at the bottom . It is so frustrating I know. You can get more than one surge in a cycle which gives a positive opk so if your temps didn't confirm ov, then it was probably a false alarm. You'll be able to take all your temping info to your gyne appointment and show them exactly what is going on. That is a positive thing.

Re the question you asked on Friday - My cycles have been getting much better recently - 30ish days for months but then this 62 day one We've been trying since October which isn't long really I know but with only 3 cycles. If this cycle is another long one I might do as you suggest and go to the gp and ask if there is anything causing it.

Hello to everyone else!

fruitloop79 · 18/02/2008 09:16

oh piper I'm so sorry .
I suppose this is the trouble with TTC, we all find out too early and it's just heartbreaking when it doesnt stick. Maybe we should all throw our HPTs in the bin or even better, burn them. I might even just get rid of my OPKs too. They're obviously completely useless.

piper1984 · 18/02/2008 09:24

I completely agree FL we should burn them all!

Had a good auld chat with DH and we decided that even tho we upset that it didnt stick,
: at least we know for sure that we ov last month and we werent ov before. just waiting for the doc to get back to me now about starting the clomid again, she reckons i responded too well the last time. really sorry about your BFN, hate BFNS, they are horrible!

Oufton · 18/02/2008 09:42

Morning,
Sorry to hear the news piper, how upsetting for you and what a crap start to the week, sending you big hugs.

Hello to newbie josiejellybean, good luck and hope you're not here long!

NOAM big fingers crossed for you, we need some good news!

Oufton · 18/02/2008 09:43

Oh and hello to CBs treats and mibbes - any symptoms to report? Nothing from me, I had a bit of cramp when I woke up this morning so I think AF is on her way.

MollieMooma · 18/02/2008 09:57

Piper So sorry it didn't work out this time for you, better luck and stickiness for this cycle.
Can't believe how long it's taken me to catch up on this thread after a busy weekend
Hi to JosieJellyBean and welcome.
Morning to everyone else too, hope you've all got the sunshine we've got here, puts me in a much better mood. I'm going to be watching the letterbox for my OPK's from EBay and hoping they will come in time!

piper1984 · 18/02/2008 10:11

hi Oufton and MollieMooma

I gonna start my positive thinking now next month will definetly be my month, I have a good feeling about it

(either that or i'm in denial!)

Oufton i see your on cd 27.... any symptoms to report??

Noam >> congrats

Oufton · 18/02/2008 11:48

Hi piper good on you with the positive thinking, March is obviously the start of spring so I'm sure that's a good fertility sign, also the Easter hols so there's lots more chance for BDing with no work to interfere!

Don't think I've any symptoms to report, I've got some cramping which I suspect is AF sadly, am obviously knicker watching every hour but I think it's inevitable sadly.

Hello to MollieMooma did the postman arrive with your OPKs? Sunshine is lovely here also although it's absolutely brass monkeys outside!

piper1984 · 18/02/2008 11:57

Hi Oufton

Yep, well i've spent so much time feeling sorry for myself in previous months that I having a duvet day today and tomorrow back to normal

I have a good feeling about this month, gonna dig out the OPK's. still waiting on the doctor to ring back about the clomid

MollieMooma · 18/02/2008 12:02

Piper - We like positive thinking (it's the only thing that gets us through each month!)
Oufton - unfortunately the post comes after I've left work so won't know til tonight, did early order on Saturday so might be pushing it a little bit to have them delivered today, but positive thinking they maybe there tonight! Enjoy your duvet day I'll think of you whilst slaving away!

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 18/02/2008 12:07

morning ladies
piper im so sorry about your CP but as you are looking a bit positive i should agree with you that at least you know you Oved so the clomid did its job i suppose xx i hope your GP sorts you out with more of the wonder drug and you get a super sticky BFP next cycle {{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}
NOAM a quiet WOOHOO congrats from me to you on your BFP hopefully you will get a sticky one and wont have to move from the grads list
FL sorry you got your BFN i hope you get AF soon to put your mind at rest HCB xx make sure you dont leave the gynae doc until he has sorted you out with some of the good stuff xx
hi to HCB sparkly, mibbes, JB bucky, and everyone else
xx ei xx

piper1984 · 18/02/2008 12:11

thanks EI i have my clomid on stand by, just waiting on the doc to ring, she said to talk to her before starting it again after last cycles multible eggs feck her think i will take it anyways

piper1984 · 18/02/2008 12:18

right ladies, we have to make a stand against AF this month!!! and ban her!!! we all gonna get preggers this month

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 18/02/2008 12:21

WOW that would prob make the national papers that would!! imagine 40 or so women in syncronised BFP-athon baby boom in 2008 ahoy!!
xx ei xx

piper1984 · 18/02/2008 12:23

especially if we all use clomid and have twins or triplets

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 18/02/2008 12:42

LOL we would almost double britains population then get that clomid down the postoffice and send it out to us all keep enough for yourself obv...
xx ei xx

piper1984 · 18/02/2008 12:50

LOL just got the all clear to start on it again from doc, woohoo!!! maybe if i tell the doc that i lost mine she will give me another packet and then i can post it out to all!!!! well there's enough in one packet for 6 people, FL will have to be first in line OMG i have way to much time on my hands today and am serial posting.

feeling fairly positive with the clomid now.
going to boots shortly to stock up on opks and going to bd every day this cycle

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 18/02/2008 12:57

YAY piper good news that you can start on the clomid i hope it works for you again this cycle but that it is a sticky one
xx ei xx

mibbes · 18/02/2008 13:36

oooh piper am so sorry, but equally amazed that you seem to have bounced back so quickly - you are an example to us all and great news you can start in the clomid again
EleveId CB sorry she got you . Funny you should ask about pre-AF spotting as I have had more spotting today too so am also out (brown spotting - sorry TMI) - but my pre-AF spotting usually lasts 5-6 days so a few more days before I can even get back to CD1 . I am going to see the doc about my pre-AF spotting as I believe 1 or 2 days is fine but 5-6 can apparently be a bad sign Had really hoped Vit B6 may help but looks like it hasn't - it will probably just delay AF even further grrrr... (serves me right for self-medicating)
Oufton CB also sorry to hear AF on her way. We have not been a lucky group of CBs..unless Treats has better news ? Come on Treats please cheer us up
Ei sorry but looks like your dream hasn't come true again, poo. I will try harder next month
