CB ovulation tests

Hey ladies! Talk to me, how many days did you get flashing smiling faces, before the static? And are you testing more than once a day once you have the flashing smiley? I am doing both CB and my strip tests. However the strip tests seem so low. Worried they are dud!
I got the first flashing smiley yesterday and now today. I saw some reviews that people have had flashing smiley faces for 9 days and then test stopped working.. xxx

Hey guys, if you get the static smiley do you put that day or the next day into your app as ovulation day? I got the static on Friday 17th so put ovulation in to Premom as the 18th. On that basis I’m 8DPO today. I caved and weed on a cheapo this morning and it was starkly negative but I guess it’s still early days. Sending everyone who is still waiting good luck xxxx

Hey, I always put the next day as ovulation day but I always keep in mine that it could have been the following day so I guess you could be 7 or 8 dpo today? If that makes any sense 😂 8dpo is still early for testing. I’m supposed to be 12dpo today and still showing BFN on a cheapie test. I guess it could be 11dpo in which case it is still early for me too. AF due on Monday for me but going to do an FRER tomorrow xxx

@NWnature I use the Flo app and put it down as positive when I get a static smiley as it then calculates ovulation as being the following day and a pop up will tell me ovulation is coming in the next 24-48 hrs!
AF arrived for me a day a day late so was getting my hopes up 😩 but onto the next cycle we go!

I am on day 10 of flashing smiley face and I am so depressed! I'm also worried that because I counted my AF from the first day's of spotting, its maybe calculated my CD wrong? So I could be CD18 not CD21? Either way I'm guessing I haven't ovulated 😩😩😩😩 xxxx

I do yes and it started to rise yesterday and dipped back down today... 😔 xxxx

Hey @Floralsandsmiles how are you? I count my cycle from the first day of proper flow so that could be putting your dates out. I know it’s easier said than done but try not to worry too much as that can also affect your cycle and sending hugs lovely 🤗

I don’t think it’s that uncommon not to ovulate on random months but it’s really rubbish when TTC.

My sis tracks her BBT and does OPKs normally and she doesn’t think she ovulated this month, she has 2 kids and had no fertility issues, I think it’s just one of those things that happens sometimes.

@Luna0905 thank you! I don't know if I just missed it maybe? I just hate that I'm more confused of my cycle than ever! Do I stop testing now? Or continue till I get my static smiley? Xxx

I guess it’s possible you missed it. I think CB say to only test for 9 days so it’s up to you whether you continue or not for your sanity.

Hey @Luna0905 sorry to hear AF turned up. I peed on another test this afternoon and a stark blank. My Clue app thinks my period is due tomorrow and Premom thinks Friday so I expect I will be joining you in the next cycle soon xx

Exactly @Luna0905!! So today marks day 11 of flashing smile face! However the test window both strips are the same width and colour.. when I log into pre mom it comes up with 1.14? But I know some say its not compatible with that? Every other time I've logged them (in the other tabs) they haven't been like that, they have been lower or up to 0.5. However I took a strip at the same time and that was 0.25. So confused! Xxx
