Hey ladies! Talk to me, how many days did you get flashing smiling faces, before the static? And are you testing more than once a day once you have the flashing smiley? I am doing both CB and my strip tests. However the strip tests seem so low. Worried they are dud!
I got the first flashing smiley yesterday and now today. I saw some reviews that people have had flashing smiley faces for 9 days and then test stopped working.. xxx

I’m usually ovulating on CD14 but mine was CD17 this month, I'm sure a couple of days won’t make too much of a difference xxx

OK, thank you! And obviously DTD every other day. Is doing every day bad and means the sperm will be too watery? Xxx

We were recommended every other day so should be fine. We dtd everyday from about CD6 to CD18 this month to see it would make a difference- let’s see! DH was very on board with this 😂xxx

I am tempted every day during the fertile period, but worried it will have the opposite effect and have it too watered down by the time of ovulation? I worry alot lol xxxx

I know, I'm a worrier too 😞I overthink everything too but I thought after 3 years, we have nothing to lose at this point.
try not to stress (easier said than done I know!), it can happen play havoc with cycles. I was saying to DH yesterday, I can actually see in my cycle lengths when I changed jobs to a less stressful job and they have been much more regular since -just shows what a difference it makes! xxx

Thank you @Luna0905 , I will try not to worry so much about every little thing.. lol can you feel your ovulation? I could swear I felt light cramping in my left side after DTD yesterday. Wishful thinking I think lol xxx

Yes I usually get cramps and pain which feels like it’s my ovary. I’m sure it’s coming if you’re feeling twinges xx

Try not to worry too much yet @Floralsandsmiles! My cycles are between 27-29 days so should ovulate on day 14 but it’s always day 17-19! Implantation can happen anytime from 6DPO so a shorter luteal phase isn’t always a bad thing - less time for the TWW🤣

How long does everyone wait before moving after DTD? I'm so scared to move too soon after, and disturb the little men making their way up! Lol xxx

TTCno1in23 · 20/02/2023 23:01

I lie there a good 15 mins if I have the time😅 no idea if it’s making any difference though!!

Luna0905 · 21/02/2023 07:17

I guess I do lie down for a while after but don’t consciously do it for any particular amount of time xx

Scalessayeek · 21/02/2023 07:22

I used to jump up and pee pretty much straight away. From what I’d read any decent sperm would be long on their way by then. I also used to DTD for about 4 days in a row, up to when I thought ovulation was coming, the day I got a static, on the day and the day after. Obviously on those days it wasn’t quite where I thought it was we’d usually have a day off then get back on it lol 😂

Floralsandsmiles · 21/02/2023 08:36

Thanks everyone! I researched online and it said lay down for 15 mins after, so I think I did half an hour for good measure! Lol
My DH was so sweet though, he was kissing my tummy and asking all the little men to go march on to find the egg haha I relaxed somewhat after that xxx

I've had the worst tummy ache this morning and resulted in diarrhoea.. j researched and that is a sign for ovulation apparently! Which is great as I still have a flashy man, but this could mean levels are changing and I'm finally going to (and it's the predicted day! Yay) lol sorry for the too much info! Xxx

@Floralsandsmiles I used the clearblue digital ovulation tests for the first time this month as I don’t trust the cheapie strips anymore. This month I had 4 days of a blank circle (CD 6,7,8 &9) then flashing smiley face for 4 days (10,11,12 & 13). Late pm on CD13 I had pinching low down on my tight side and I just knew it was ovulation; sure enough the next morning there was my solid smiley face 😁 I have a regular 28 day cycle so ovulating on CD13/14 wasn’t much of a surprise to me but it’s so nice knowing that you haven’t missed the window and just that you are actually ovulating. I bought 2 packs as they were on offer so I will use them for another month if I’m not pregnant this month but will then go by my own body as what I always assumed was ovulation pain was proven to be just that with the tests so I now trust myself more. Good luck 🍀

Thank you @BabyJays ! I had the same low pinching so think it's soon, although had a flashing smiley this morning still annoyingly!
However I'm on a 28 cycle and it says the predicted is CD14/CD15. So think it will be today as everything is heading in that direction, however we will see.. xxx

@Floralsandsmiles yes I have heard that . . diarrhea is apparently a good sign for being pregnant too. Constipation is often mentioned as a symptom but lots of women get diarrhea as a symptom of pregnancy. I know this as I had it myself for 7 days (bad for 3) and I never have it unless I’m unwell or it’s a bug. Anyway, I’m due at today and have had a couple of squinters on some tests but not a definite positive. No sign of af so I’m staying hopeful as I had the diarrhea, vivid dreams (I never dream usually), hip pains for 2 days and I am needing to pee almost hourly when normally I have a bladder of steel! I feel pregnant but without a solid bfp I daren’t get my hopes up. It’s so difficult not to let the whole ttc take over . . I have been googling symptoms for over a week now. I will be so annoyed with myself if I’m not actually pregnant 🤪🫣😭 xx

@Floralsandsmiles I would be due around 31st October but with my daughter (almost 10 now) the dating scam put me back over a week as I apparently implant late - hence why I may not test positive until after missed af. So, I would most likely be due early to mid November ☺️ xxx

Luna0905 · 21/02/2023 09:48

@Floralsandsmiles All sounds like everything is moving in the right direction! Keep us updated!

@BabyJays ooo keep us updated on your squinters! Hoping it’s all of our months! 🌸 xxx
