@HannahLouD tested with a frer, not even a hint of a line now, as expected the clearblue is another False positive, 10dpo today, looking like another non sticky bean, unless the first frers were also indents x

FINALLY!!! hahahah.
Didn't dtd last night (did the previous 3 nights) kinda glad now as obviously gotta do it the next couple of nights now and I don't think my partner would have coped if we didn't have a break yesterday šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
I can't believe how relieved I am just to have positive opks... How sad šŸ˜…šŸ™ˆ
At least I now know if I have another cp (please no!) That it can mess up my cycle...x

@Mummy1502 oh no! Really?? Picture?
I mean... It's still so early, it's probably just because you didn't test with fmu... Don't lose hope! I've got everything crossed for you... šŸ¤ž Sending love and sticky vibes! I bet if you test with fmu tomorrow it'll be there!x

Mummy1502 · 17/03/2023 10:55

@HannahLouD okay now it’s dried there’s defo a line isn’t there? I think I looked too early and assumed it was negative, took it apart and could clearly (or not so clearly) see this one, still faint so not getting my hopes up but yea it was my second wee of the day but didn’t have any frers in this morning, I’m so happy for you! The tww can finally start for you x

@Mummy1502 I really wouldn't worry... it's early days still and you didn't take it with your fmu... I can see lines on all of the tests that you've taken so don't read too much into it... I say this, I know I'd be exactly the same šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø test again with a frer if you have one in the morning and see what it looks like then! :)

My opk this morning was reading at 1.38 on the premom app and I've just taken another one (after a 2 hour hold) and it's even darker, registering at 1.70 - my peak last month was 1.15 so these are the darkest I've had! (not that I think that really means anything?!) šŸ˜‚
I'm so confused though because I have no symptoms of ovulation at all... I have like, no cm and my cervix is still really firm. So, I'm worried that sperm won't be able to survive in there šŸ˜… Last month a couple of days before ovulation and on the day and day after I had loads of watery cm and I've had none for ages now šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø Ah well... x

Mummy1502 · 17/03/2023 12:22

@HannahLouD il test again in the morning with a FRER, I also had my strongest opk this month, the peak means you will ovulate in the next 24-36 hours doesn’t it so maybe you might start getting some symptoms today/tomorrow x

@Mummy1502 Good idea - I'm sure it'll be darker in the morning! I really wouldn't read into it yet... as hard as it may be!
Do you temp at all?

Yeah, I've read you ovulate between 12-24 hours after your peak - I'm pretty sure last month I ovulated really quickly as I had a temperature rise the morning after my peak.

Oooh I do hope the darker peaks are a good sign šŸ¤žšŸ˜… Although it probably means nothing! haha. I hope I get some symptoms soon... I'll keep on temping and when I see that rise I can relax a bit knowing I have actually o'd x

Mummy1502 · 17/03/2023 12:30

@HannahLouD no I don’t temp don’t you need a special thermometer? I hope you get your bfp this month x

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 17/03/2023 12:48

@Mummy1502 Yes, I got mine off Amazon for about £8 I think... it's handy as when your temperature rises and stays risen you know for sure you have ovulated and can more easily pinpoint the day it happened... I only really ask because your temperatures stay elevated when you're pregnant and then drops a day or two before you come on AF... I did stop temping at 12dpo last month though because I was scared of seeing a temp drop after getting my bfp... Not sure whether I'll carry on this month if I get another bfp... it can be helpful but can also cause unnecessary worry I guess!
Please do keep us updated when you test again... I'm very invested now!! And I really, really hope and want this to be your month!
Thank you as well... I hope so too! Only time will tell! Obviously not in the tww yet but knowing I have a couple of weeks to wait before I start testing is already killing me šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ I said after my cp that I would hold up until the day af was due next time, but I know full well I'll start testing at 9/10dpo šŸ™ˆ Gonna try to hold out until at least 10dpo though as I feel like that's when I'd be more likely to see something without having to hold it up in every single light and take it apart etc. Already so anxious it'll be stark white (worst feeling ever right!?) and then obviously if it is positive I'll be super worried I'll have a cp again.

How did you keep calm during the tww this time? Any tips?! šŸ˜‚šŸ˜… I do really feel for you in this super early stage... it's so nerve wracking at the best of times, let alone after having a loss... eeeek x

Mummy1502 · 17/03/2023 13:01

@HannahLouD Thankyou! I think that’s why I’m feeling disheartened I was expecting a line today on a FRER at 10dpo without having to take the test apart, now I’ve been reading by doing that it can cause it to dry out quicker causing an indent so I’m really not thinking I’ve had any real positives yet this month as I don’t trust the clearblue brand due to having false positives in previous months, no real tips no I’ve been testing everyday and constantly looking at mumsnet threads šŸ˜‚ I havnt been keeping calm at all x

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 17/03/2023 13:11

@Mummy1502 I mean, I can see a faint line on your frer and obviously it was with smu so I really wouldn't worry too much! and there was a line on the CB one you did this morning! I reckon tomorrow when you (hopefully) see a line on your frer with fmu, you'll feel much better. Although, I still wouldn't worry if it's not much stronger tomorrow... it's still really early!!
You've had false positives on the CB ones before?? That's so horrible - I'm so sorry :( I have heard that blue dye tests aren't as reliable. Weirdly last months boots early tests (pink dye) picked up a stronger line than the frer at 10dpo so I've stocked up on boots ones now as they're slightly cheaper... must stop spending all my wages on pregnancy tests hahaha.

Ah man... sounds just like what I do šŸ™„šŸ˜…
I find mumsnet both really helpful and really stress-inducing. It's amazing to be able to speak to people (thank you!) but then I find I obsess over every single tiny thing I read and I compare EVERYTHING to what I'm going through which is sometimes helpful, but mostly probably not! x

Mummy1502 · 17/03/2023 13:15

@HannahLouD i might get the boots early ones then I think, they are out of FRER now and not sure when there next delivery is, will grab some today, do you have any leftover to see what the concentration hcg is with those? FRER is 6mlu isn’t it and most other early ones are 10mlu, yea I love that we can chat on here especially as now when we do get a bfp we won’t be telling anyone until we get to 12 weeks so it’s nice to talk about it on here x

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 17/03/2023 13:31

I do have some! I'm just about to go into a work meeting (wfh so only skype!) but I'll go have a look when I'm done :) I assume they're probably 10mlu but these are my boots and frer tests from 10dpo and I think they are very similar!
Yes I agree! I didn't tell anyone last month (apart from my partner of course!) and when we hopefully get another bfp absolutely will not be saying anything until after the 12 week scan! I was so close to saying something to my daughter last time as she is desperate for a sibling but I am sooo glad I didn't and I defo won't be next time either! x

HannahLouD · 17/03/2023 13:35

@Mummy1502 I think I must have deleted the pictures... oops!

@Mummy1502 @RegardingPersephone how are you both this morning? Done any more tests yet? x

RegardingPersephone · 18/03/2023 09:28

Hi! Did another test this morning and swear I could see a very very very faint line but didn't seem as obvious as yesterday's. Not sure if it is still too early or if yesterday was a fluke 🤷 I wanted to show DP today but know he won't be able to see it šŸ˜… He might be questioning why I'm not drinking alcohol tonight at my birthday celebrations though!

I'm 12dpo so assumed lines would be more obvious by now... Is it still too early?

Mummy1502 · 18/03/2023 09:34

@HannahLouD negative for me x

@Mummy1502 I think I've seen you on the other threads... I know you've not had an easy time. You're not out until the red lady sings but I fully understand how you feel. Just take it a day at a time x
