@HannahLouD yea I can see your 9dpo line, mine didn’t get much darker than that last time so I’d say yours were very good lines, il attach my progression, I should have known it was chemical, it’s a really hard process to go through isn’t it, takes all the joy out of it coz your just worried it won’t stick, we can get through it together x

@HannahLouD we lost one at 7 weeks in November and have been trying ever since, I had false positives in January (unless that was another cp) and then a cp last month x

HannahLouD · 15/03/2023 11:08

@Mummy1502 Ah yes, I remember your lines from before... I think the thing is, when you're going through it, you want to hold onto all hope that you have, so it's hard to accept it, even if you know it's probably what's happening. I knew for sure at 14dpo when my lines stalled... but I kept on reading stories of similar happening and everything being ok so I held onto a bit of false hope for a week until I started bleeding. At least I know now what to look out for if it did happen again (which I obviously hope it doesn't!)
I'm really sorry to hear about your loss in November as well as last month, that's really tough :( I really hope you're ok. I honestly wish you all the best this month! Please keep us posted with your progression!! Hopefully I'll be able to say that I have my peak opk in not too long... and then fingers and toes crossed I might get my bfp too! x

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 11:15

@HannahLouD yea I kept thinking maybe it’s okay but I just knew once I started bleeding it was gone, I really do hope this month is positive for us both, will keep updated everyday with tests I’m sure šŸ˜‚ are you still getting flashing smileys on your opk? Hmmm cramping in my lower right side as we speak, I will be worried about every twinge now, is it bedtime yet so I can poas tomorrow x

@Mummy1502 Ah thank you! šŸ¤ž I've realised though that IF it did happen for me this month, the longer it takes for me to ovulate, the closer to Christmas my due date would be if it did happen šŸ˜‚ not that I would care...!
Hahaha! That made me laugh! I know the feeling... At the moment I'm not even waiting for bed time, I'm waiting for the afternoon just so I can check my LH levels again šŸ˜‚ Constantly wishing time away, which I know I shouldn't! Yes, I've still got the flashing smilies šŸ˜šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø And this is why I shouldn't ask my partner to bd all the time just because the flashing ones start... they can last foreverrrrr hahaa šŸ™ˆx

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 11:33

@HannahLouD how lovely to have a little Christmas baby, I’ve never used the digital opk so no idea how they work, at least doing the bd you are covering it if you did already ovulate but not picked it up, so you take any vitamins or anything? We used pre seed this month again and I started a multivitamin hoping it would help x

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 15/03/2023 11:48

@Mummy1502 haha, I wouldn't mind a Christmas baby, but I'd feel bad if I was away from my daughter over Christmas because of it šŸ™ˆ
The digital ones work by taking your baseline levels and showing a solid blank circle until it detects a rise in oestrogen then starts flashing and then when it sees your LH peak it does to a static smiley face... the idea behind it being you should be in your fertile period when it starts flashing and that should last a couple of days before it turns static... but it clearly doesn't work for me because it's been flashing for a week šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø
Yes, I started taking pregnancy multivitamins about 6 weeks ago now. Up until then I was just taking folic acid from October/November. We knew we wanted to start trying in December/January so wanted to get the folic acid in my system beforehand.
I've just done another IC opk after a 4 hour hold and it's still exactly the same as it's been since I started testing with them.
I keep of flip flopping between being like "it's fine, it's just the cp knocking things off a bit, it'll happen" to "screw everything, I give up, I'm never going to ovulate"... Stressful!! and then I still have the tww if and when I do ovulate... I need to find some patience in me somewhere!!! x

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 12:18

@HannahLouD what vitamins are you taking? I’m taking the pregnacare fertility ones, it’s so hard not to stress isn’t it, I’m sure you will ovulate soon, did you say your temping aswell? X

OP posts:
Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 12:20

@HannahLouD how long did it take for your pregnancy tests to go to negative after the cp if you don’t mind me asking? Mine seemed to change pretty quick but mine were really faint anyway x

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 15/03/2023 13:22

@Mummy1502 I'm taking those vitamins as well :)
Yes, I'm temping - last month I had a big temp drop the day before ovulation and then my temps went up and stayed up until about half way through my bleed.
So far my temps have been pretty much the same every single day so far (I'm actually temping vaginally this time and it seems to be much more stable and accurate).
My tests were positive until the day I started bleeding (so stayed positive until around 20dpo) x

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 13:54

@HannahLouD ive never temped before but I do get hot around ovulation, let me know how you get on, I’m still having lots of discharge which started yesterday x

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 15/03/2023 14:01

I still had lots of CM after ovulation last month so I'd take it as a good sign... x

Mummy1502 · 15/03/2023 15:00

@HannahLouD i hope so, I just had my call from the doctor (from last month) they were really good and said as soon as I get pregnant again they will refer me to the epu for a scan, good timing for the call, she said I will hear from the epu by the end of the week x

OP posts:
Mummy1502 · 16/03/2023 06:23

@HannahLouD tested this morning, the line is defo there, faint but there even my husband can see it x

OP posts:
Mummy1502 · 16/03/2023 06:37

@HannahLouD not even sure this is worth posting but this is inverted without taking the test apart, will get a picture of it in the natural light as it’s still dark outside atm so not great lighting in here, any update on your tests? X

Anyone else in tww?

HannahLouD · 16/03/2023 07:24

Eeeek yayy! How exciting! Got everything crossed for you!! šŸ¤žšŸ˜
No good news from me I'm afraid :( started to feel very deflated now x

Mummy1502 · 16/03/2023 07:28

@HannahLouD Thankyou, feel very crampy today which I can’t help feeling that it feels like last month, gonna have a chilled day and try rest as much as possible, hoping these lines get darker but hoping it’s a good sign that I havnt needed to take the test apart today, will just keep testing everyday but if they stay faint I will know it’s another chemical, 9dpo today would like to think by 11dpo I should have a stronger line, keep me updated maybe you will ovulate today? X

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 16/03/2023 08:10

@Mummy1502 11dpo was when I caved and did the CB weeks indicator and got my 1-2 weeks and my line was obvious by then... Not that it really means anything!
I really think this month will be an anovulatory cycle... My body is showing no signs of even being close unfortunately. I don't think stressing so much is helping either. Just wanted to start properly trying again... It's so disappointing. I'm 28 so I know I hopefully have time, but I just want to ovulate! Is that too much to ask?! šŸ˜©šŸ˜‚šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøx

Mummy1502 · 16/03/2023 08:16

@HannahLouD i think coz my lines were so faint last month I really can’t get my hopes up until I get a proper line, when I did a weeks indicator last month it said not pregnant so my hcg must have never gone up to 20mlu (if that’s what the weeks indicator is) I was looking at other threads before apparently the pregnacare can throw your cycle out a bit so maybe it could be that for you? It’s hard to chill though isn’t it x

HannahLouD · 16/03/2023 11:38

@Mummy1502 I've just tested again and this is the darkest I've had so far... I'm literally hoping and praying this is the start of my surge... This is is ridiculous I can't believe how excited I am just at the idea of ovulating ahaha.
Although we've dtd for the past 3 nights so if this is the start of my surge I'm going to have to try to get my poor partner to do it for the next couple of days too šŸ™ˆšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
I'll test again this afternoon and hopefully it'll have gotten darker šŸ¤žšŸ¤žšŸ¤žx

Anyone else in tww?
Mummy1502 · 16/03/2023 11:49

@HannahLouD that looks really promising and at least you’ve covered the lead up to it x

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 16/03/2023 11:53

@Mummy1502 I really hope so! Literally no idea how I'm going to survive the tww this time though if I'm this impatient just to ovulate aha.
Also, as I'm sure you've probably also obsessively read (or maybe not, might just be me šŸ˜‚šŸ™ˆ) there's soo many stories about people getting a bfp after a cp... Obviously you also fit in to that statistic (so pleased for you!!) But that makes it even harder because in the back of my head I'll be thinking it's likely to happen again and then if it doesn't I feel like I'll be more disappointed than usual... This ttc malarky is emotionally exhausting! šŸ˜…
How are you feeling?x

Mummy1502 · 16/03/2023 11:56

@HannahLouD im having a down day today, feel very emotional and scared this will end in a chemical again, the epu have booked a scan for me for 7th April but I’m just so scared I won’t make it that far, feeling sorry for myself can you tell lol x

OP posts:
Mummy1502 · 16/03/2023 12:36

@HannahLouD currently have a pulling sensation just right of the centre of my lower belly x

OP posts:
HannahLouD · 16/03/2023 12:45

@Mummy1502 I'm sorry you're not feeling great today - it's totally understandable though! I know I'll feel exactly the same when I get my bfp again... it's only natural after a cp. But the odds are in your favour and you have a line super early so hopefully that's a good sign!? I'm sure the feeling in your belly is nothing - I know I massively symptom stopped last month when I knew I was pregnant, you're probably just super sensitive to everything your body is doing right now. I'm sure everything is fine! :)
It's also great you have a scan booked in - that'll be really reassuring! Are you getting that because of the mc you had last year as well as the CP? I didn't tell my doctor about my CP last month as I didn't think they would really care seeing as it was my first loss.

As for me, I'll do another test before I leave for the school run, but I don't have ANY ovulation signs at all... which worries me as obviously you need fertile cm for sperm to survive... not sure they'd be very happy up there atm! šŸ˜‚šŸ˜…šŸ™ˆ Last month I had all the signs... cm, sore boobs, pelvic pain... nothing now. So maybe it isn't the start of my surge after all... I need to be patient. I just need to chill out!!! hahaha x
