Can't find a thread for this but I'm TTC #2. In on CD1 as AF arrived this morning... feel free to join this thread xxx

I'm back at it. After insisting and finally being seen by 3 GPs one of them prescribed me metformin, haven't picked it yet as I'm 5 days dpo and not sure when to test! Any suggestions?

I have irregular periods but I faintly spotted 7 days ago and that was it.😫 heeelp

@smldnlove have you decided whether you’re going to give it another go this month? I say go for it! I’m now on CD8 so nearing ovulation I think, so we are back at it! I ended up confiding in my mum and telling her that we are TTC and my worried etc and bless her she’s booked me in for some acupuncture as apparently it works wonders for regulating or lengthening cycles, so going to try that next month if we aren’t successful this month. Have also started seed cycling this month which might help too! Giving everything a go! Haha. how is everything with you?

@Tryingtobe123 dream sounds hectic! Probably your subconscious knowing you are longing for a baby that isn’t here yet or something! I’ve been having some weird vivid dreams too actually. Are you close to testing in this cycle? Or are you still a way off? Are you symptom spotting at all? I find it so hard not to!

I wish there was a way we could speak off this forum! It’s not that practical, but I love chatting to likeminded women who are also TTC. Speaking about it helps so much.

do you mind me asking your ages? I’m 31! Wish I’d started a little sooner to be honest knowing my issue with short luteal phase.

@Strawb28 @Nicole90134 How are you both getting on with TTC? Any updates?

@Wright31 Gosh I know the feeling, super busy at the moment too. That’s lovely you confided in your mum and totally agree with her in acupuncture, I’ve heard some really positive things about it for TTC and getting hormones balanced and cycles regulated. Fingers crossed!!! When do you have your first session?

I’m on CD2 so feels like a long way tk go now but I’m really keen to pin down my ovulation this month. Last month I based it a bit more in CM which is fine but wanna try and be more accurate this time and figure out my peak. I’ll probably start tracking CD6 but don’t think we will try this month! I think we’re gonna skip 1 month now and then try again in April as would then only be around 6 weeks till the wedding. I’m just worried about pregnancy sickness etc! (Getting ahead of myself😂)

@Wright31 im CD 19 so I think I’ll probably test in a week or so! Got my BFP last time around 12 DPO always tempted to test early though. Feeling really odd though at the moment

@smldnlove im on CD14 think my peak was yesterday but I'm still not getting much EWCM and I've upped my water to 2ltrs a day and cut out a lot of caffeine so I'm not feeling too hopeful!!

@smldnlove i got my period unfortunate maybe next time how are you? Xx

@Strawb28 i don’t know if less EWCM means you’re not ovulating though?! It may just be that you don’t have as much (I don’t think there’s actually a direct link to fertility there at all). Why don’t you see if you can get some hormonal tests - have you done any tests or anything? Fingers crossed this month, still lots to be hopeful about and fairly early on in the cycle!

@Nicole90134 Ah sorry to hear that AF came, hope you’re feeling alright about it. Mine has also so in same boat, on CD 3 now so going to focus on testing ovulation this month I think…

That test is fair away and in a difficult light to see so maybe send another? Can you try on a clear blue?

@smldnlove im not doing to do another one until Friday now 😂 I just found one of these ones in the bathroom cabinet last night then caved in this morning

I can see something on your 2nd test. Looks like there is colour to it but id give it another 2-3 days before testing again @Tryingtobe123

@smldnlove yeah it is darker than yesterdays I think! So that’s good news. My period is due in 5 days so I think I’ll do one then! I did get some first response so I might do one tomorrow morning

Took a non sensitive first response this morning thought it was the 6 days before period ones but I got the wrong ones!!! Showed up straight away. I had a chemical pregnancy before my little boy so I’ll always be paranoid that they’re indents/not getting darker but I think they are. Sorry to keep posting but you ladies have been so reassuring I know these are hard to see when you’re trying so I appreciate you all!

how many dpo were you when you got your bfp first? would you still not be due on AF yet?

@Wright31 according to the app im 4 days away from AF! But I do ovulate early so I’d probably start seeing signs of my period round about now!

So sad this chat used to be so inclusive and all new posters are deliberately ignoring my posts. You women are extremely hurtful, we're all on the same boat and even after being longer here, you plain ignore my posts. That's so rude to say the least, time to find more educated people in some other thread.

@GeekyMina i don’t think anyone has intentionally ignored your posts? I certainly haven’t. I only joined recently and didn’t scroll right back to all the previous comments - I just saw the thread title and joined. I think going out of your way to call everyone uneducated is a little bit more hurtful than people accidentally missing your posts. We’re all busy, for example I have my own business and also a 2 year old at home. If I look at the comments on here it’s the most recent ones unless someone tags me.

I really don’t think anyone has intended to be hurtful towards you.

@GeekyMina no one intentionally ignored you, just missed your post i think. the only hurtful message on this thread is calling us uneducated haha. i understand this is a stressful and worrying time, but as you say we are all in the same boat, so no accusations or insults please! this is a safe and friendly space for women going through the same thing to support one another. if you feel you’d rather talk somewhere else then of course do! but this has so far been a wonderfully supportive thread so im sure you’d find some comfort here too. just repost your message rather than calling everyone out 🤍

@Wright31 currently laying on the sofa feeling very very sick. Tests are getting darker now so it’s very much happening eek can I stay on this thread though so I can see how all you ladies get on! 😂🙏🏼
