Hi all,

So long story but.. we have been ttc for 12 months now. I usually use opk's and got positives between cycle days 14-16. This month i decided to try temping..along with opks. I got a positive opk cycle day 14 this month...but no temp rise (usually i would stop testing on opk's here prior to temping as got a os opk and would DTD as much as possible). But as i got no temp rise i continued testing and obviously dtd. I got a blazing positive on cycle day 20 when test line was double the darkness of the control line, the next day i had a big temp and now here i am on 3dpo with confirmed ovulation with increased temps.

My cycles range from 28-31 days but i have had longer. So i ovulated day 21....if this has been the case in previous months i have been timing it all wrong so hopefully this month is a lucky one.

What id like to know is if anyone has had success with late ovulations leading to bfp?

TIA

Currently 10 weeks pregnant having conceived on CD64 with PCOS.

In my experience LH tests do work but your baseline will be higher, you still jusgg to wait for a blazing positive. Same with temping- Rocky, long chart- sure - but the overall pattern is still clear. EWCM when I get it definitely helps too.

  • should have added ovulation CD60 VFL CD69 a squinter but when you see a faint line that’s never been there before you just know it’s positive
