Hi,

Currently trying for DC 2, already have a 2 year old DS.

I should have ovulated today 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Anyone else entering the TWW? Due AF 7th Jan but will probably end up testing a couple days before 😄

@Tbark I think I’m doing well thank you. I have an early scan next week so hoping we can see something. I’ll be 6+5 from LMP but I think I ovulate late so possibly not quite as far as that. No adverse happenings at the moment so I’m not worried about anything. Clear blue has progressed from 1-2 to 2-3 so I know all is moving in the right direction :).

@MrsL22 that's great news, I'm glad to hear it's all going well for you. I'll keep everything crossed for your scan. I have 32 day cycles and was scanned at 6+2 from LMP so I think I'm slightly behind that so was chuffed to have a little reassurance x

Hi everyone, glad to hear people are still getting BFP's!

Saw the GP today and they've booked me in for a blood test in a couple of week's time, and another appointment in late March to discuss the results. Was a very brief conversation and the poor older gentleman seemed so awkward about it 😆

Still no AF for me... If it's still not here tomorrow I'm going to do another PG test, although I'm not expecting anything exciting. I'm on CD 41 of the longest cycle that I've ever had!

How's everyone else feeling/getting on?

@Pitstop1986 how late are you for AF?

Since my update yesterday, I started spotting at about 8am this morning. It has not increased, and its definitely spotting, although it is red and not really had any PMS symptoms. Typical as soon as I see the GP, what a rollercoaster 😅

@SimplyChic if I remember correctly you haven't had AF since December? That must be such a struggle. I'm 10 days late and really feeling down in the pits about it and feeling like I have allsorts wrong with me. It really is a rollercoaster

@Pitstop1986 yes, that is correct. I was also very ill for quite a while around that time and the GP did say it could be a reason for the delay. Blood test I don't have until the 7th of March though and results the 20th.

Wow, you are quite late too. Maybe just late ovulation or something?

I think that it was a late ovulation for me, I had lots of cm a few days before AF was due and I thought that it was just her preparing to come, but in hindsight that was probably when I ovulated. If that's the case, AF is due tomorrow or Sunday, so hopefully there's not too long before I'm put out of my misery

@Pitstop1986 I hope you get an answer either way soon, the not knowing is the worst bit because you can't make any future plans either way - keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I finally got through to the dr today to try and make my booking appt - only to find out I apparently have to self refer to the hospital first, which could take 10 working days. Currently wondering what my surgery actually do now, seeing as this has changed in the last 3 years to become my job too...shall I just do my own notes too? 🙄😂

Since early this morning, the bleeding has been like this when I've wiped a few times during the day.. feel more worried now, especially with no AF for so long. Got some cramps now though a little. How long should I wait for it to get heavy?

If it's just been like that for a day @SimplyChic I wouldn't worry, I often get this for a day before AF makes an abrupt entrance. You probably had an anovulatory cycle, so your hormones won't be the same as a normal cycle. Give it a couple of days and see what happens

I have my early scan on Wednesday and have had my booking appointment through for 8th March so keep everything crossed for me

@Pitstop1986 just a thought but have you started taking or changed any vitamins lately? I know that some people find some of the pre-conception vitamins can affect your cycle. I’m really sorry that you are still in limbo.

@SimplyChic the AF before last, I had 48 hours of that kind of bleeding - kept logging that my period had started on my app and then having to take it off again. It did eventually come properly so I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞

@DancingNancies my doctors made me an appt with my last pregnancy (it was a telephone call) and then during that call they basically said congratulations and told me to self-refer. Then during my first midwife appt I had to give the history of my last two pregnancies (including my sections, one of which was an emergency) because I’d moved counties and apparently they couldn’t see my hospital records?! It’s all a bit odd…

@SimplyChic my AF always starts like that, on and off for a day or two before coming in full force so I hope you get an answer soon.

@Downtherabbithole83 1st pregnancy, I rang the dr and they sorted the booking appt, midwife came to my house, took bloods/bmi/family history. 2nd pregnancy they made me make an appt at the surgery, then the same as you - said congrats but then told me to make a booking appt at reception so again through the surgery, midwife to my house etc etc.

The receptionist spoke to my like I should know what to do this time, and I was a fool for ringing them to book - it's only been 6 years since my 1st time and 3 since my 2nd and it's changed SO much, madness!

I was going to do a pg test this morning, just incase DHs sperms managed to stay alive inside me for 8 days... Completely forgot! I'd even drunk a large glass of water and a cup of tea in quick succession before I realised, so I can't even do a hold right now as my urine is going to be so diluted!

Going from when I got ewcm, I'm due AF either today or tomorrow, I guess I'll just have to wait around the extra day for AF. (Or dehydrate myself and test tonight)

Still no AF but negative pregnancy test, so I'm relaxing watching a film with a glass of wine. Got some cookies in the oven to munch on and I'm just going to relax

Bleeding is slightly heavier today, although not much if I'm honest - it's definitely lighter than my usual flow. But I'm just glad something is occurring now regardardless of that.

About 1.5 weeks ago, I began taking myo-inositol for my irregular cycles, so I'm unsure if this has had an effect.

I also don't know if I'm meant to stop it in advance before the fertilty blood test, as they are testing for glucose etc, as I'm unsure if it will effect results and I can't find anything on the internet for it 😫

Glad to hear you’re managing to relax @Pitstop1986 - I baked earlier in the week and have been making the most of the available cake this evening!

@SimplyChic afraid I’ve no experience of that one. Weird that there is nothing about it online… (isn’t everything available via Google?! Even if it’s not the truth 😂)

I’m doing okay - though AF had ended but it’s reappeared tonight (much to my other half’s annoyance 😂) so waiting to start the opks again… I bought a massive pack so I can POAS as much as I want. I’ve not bought any early pregnancy cheapies this time though. Determined not to test unless AF doesn’t arrive this month… we shall see how that goes.

How’s everyone doing? I’m back in the tww wait again… not hopeful this time as only dtd once in the window because of feeling unwell but as a result I’m way more chilled which is kinda nice.

@Downtherabbithole83 i only did once last cycle too and I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant - the cycle before we tried loads (DH didn't know what hit him!) and we ended up with a chemical...just has to be that once at the right time - and I do think feeling relaxed helps! Wishing you luck!
