Hi,

Currently trying for DC 2, already have a 2 year old DS.

I should have ovulated today 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Anyone else entering the TWW? Due AF 7th Jan but will probably end up testing a couple days before 😄

@Downtherabbithole83 thank you for checking in! I had a dramatic few days still no sign of AF panicking as def not pregnant and was worried something was up as I'm always bang on time so booked a doctors appointment and bo AF came about an hour ago! however I started taking the seven seas pre conception tablets a few weeks back and I have seen loads say this changed their cycle so now thinking that COULD be why AF was late....has anyone else had this or can recommend a substitute?

@Downtherabbithole83 good luck this this cycle hoping to hear plenty of good news to keep us all positive!

Downtherabbithole83 · 25/01/2023 22:10

@Livingonhope sorry that AF arrived but also, yay to AF arriving. Such mixed emotions each time it arrives when you’re trying… ttc is such a rollercoaster!

I take the seven seas tablets and have done since my tfmr (so just over two months now). I don’t think they’ve affected me negatively in any way…

Mrsrobinsonx · 26/01/2023 07:37

@Downtherabbithole83 I’m planning not to test until period is due/late but yeah last month I ended up taking about 4 tests as I started early, it’s so hard!

@Livingonhope I have been taking them tablets since I started trying (October) and my cycles have been very regular, ovulation and period always within a couple of days the same time each month. X

MrsSprouse · 26/01/2023 12:23

@SimplyChic yeah that's the same times I did my opks too, hope you get a positive soon

@Livingonhope sorry about Af, it's always hard when she comes but also it puts an end to the waiting and guessing for me. I hope you're OK x

I'm fully in the 2 week wait now, period due in 8 days and I don't think I have any symptoms tbh. I had bad cramping a few days ago and now i just have horrible nausea and I'm exhausted, but I have a horrid cold so I think that's what's causing it. Can technically use a frer on the weekend, but I'm going to hold off until next Friday as i don't want to get my hopes up x

Pitstop1986 · 27/01/2023 10:08

No ewcm yet for me. I'm cd 20 today so I'm thinking maybe I just didn't make a lot or ovulation is late this month. Me and DH are going to dtd either tonight or in the morning to make sure, but it is quite strange.

I've ordered some methylfolate so I think I'm going to just take that and vitamin d as I think that the conception vitamins are messing up my cycle. I eat relatively well so hoping that I get everything that I need from my diet and so I'll be fine.

Lots of girls starting their 2ww. Exciting times ahead (after the loooong 2 weeks!)

MrsL22 · 27/01/2023 16:57

Well I think I’m definitely ovulating. Lots of EWCM yesterday and today I had about two hours sharp pain on one side. Dtd last night so may have timed that one perfectly. 🤞🏼
Still no done any OPKs so don’t know for sure but I think my body is telling me

Downtherabbithole83 · 27/01/2023 20:37

That all sounds promising @MrsL22 ! 🤞 indeed!

@Pitstop1986 My ewcm was definitely a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ event this month and I had it one day before my LH surge started according to my opks and then none really during… not sure if that’s a bad sign. I definitely used to be much more aware of it so I’m wondering if I’m having less as I’m getting older (which is just a tad depressing for many reasons, not just the wrinkles 😂)

SimplyChic · 27/01/2023 23:44

Still waiting for AF now cycle day 48 and no ovulation yet I don't think, how long until I need to worry? Definitely not pregnant and concerned it's hurting our chances of TTC ☹️

Mrsrobinsonx · 28/01/2023 09:34

@SimplyChic
I think a trip to the doctors would be useful! At least they could do some tests to check hormones or make sure everything looks good? It’s a long while with no period or ovulation x

SimplyChic · 28/01/2023 09:39

@Mrsrobinsonx when I Google, it says more than 3 periods missed in a row to be looked at, so would they do anything until then? I've only missed one and just over half way through the second half of the next cycle so I haven't even 'missed' my second one yet x

Downtherabbithole83 · 28/01/2023 12:06

@SimplyChic , it can’t hurt to ask. Especially if you are normally regular.

Pitstop1986 · 28/01/2023 14:51

@SimplyChic I'd ask the doctor to do a blood test just to put your mind at ease. It's a quick and simple thing for your doctor to arrange and it means that you won't be going mad with worry

Me and husband had a bit of an insurance bonk this morning, just incase I'm ovulating late this month. Poor thing is exhausted so I think he's happy that he can get a rest for a couple of weeks now!
I'm cd 21 and usually ovulate day 17/18

So I'm hoping that I'm in the 2ww now. When is everyone testing this month?

Mrsrobinsonx · 28/01/2023 15:18

@Pitstop1986
My husband is the same after a couple of days in a row 😂 then give him a day or 2 off and he’s moaning he hasn’t had it 🤣
I’m not planning on testing until my period is due/late this cycle so that’s around 8th feb x

Pitstop1986 · 28/01/2023 15:39

For goodness sake! Just been to the loo and noticed a little ewcm. I usually get ewcm for 4 days, if that's the case, DH is going to need to pull a little more energy out of the bag for tomorrow night/Monday morning and Tuesday.

He did 3 days in a row earlier in the week. He's usually a once per week kind of guy. I'll check next time I go to the loo before I give him the news

Tbark · 28/01/2023 16:23

Hi all, I took a little break from.here as I was getting far too obsessed over symptom spotting but I need people's opinions and couldn't think of a better place to ask :) I'm 12 dpo and have been having some symptoms but let's be honest ever since ttc I've managed to symptoms spot most months haha. I was tidying up today and had a random opk lying about so I peed on it just because and it came up super dark! I then peed on one of the cheaper hcg sticks that came in the pack as it came with about 40 and I swear I can see a line.....but worried it may be an indent as I've read that a lot on this page over the last few months! I just need to know if I'm going mad or if anyone else can squint and see it too?!

TWW Buddies..
MrsL22 · 28/01/2023 17:48

@Tbark that doesn’t look like a squinter to me - it looks like a clear positive!!!!!
I would test again in a couple of days but for now I’m going to say a tentative congratulations 🎉💕

Livingonhope · 28/01/2023 18:10

hi guys taking a break here due to AF BUTTT that's it all over again and back to torturing my husband lol!!

@Tbark fully agree that's a double line ❤️ xx

@MrsSprouse what's the latest with you did you test? x

MrsSprouse · 28/01/2023 18:47

@Tbark I see a clear line!@Pitstop1986 LOL I'm sure your husband won't complain for long 😂@Livingonhope I haven't tested, got a pack Frers in my amazon fresh shop as they were £6 instead of £10, but I want to hold off testing until at least Wednesday (I think AF due on Friday). Symptoms wise, not much tbh. Some nausea today and migraines for the past week but I'm putting it down to the cold I have. Boobs are also crazy tender, but they always are before AF

Mrsrobinsonx · 28/01/2023 19:53

@Tbark clear positive to me! Eeek xx

Tbark · 28/01/2023 20:22

Typical i had one clear blue digital response in the house so took it and it came up with an error 🤣🤣🤣 I'm.clearly not meant POAS anymore tonight!!!

Downtherabbithole83 · 28/01/2023 20:23

@Tbark that definitely looks like a line to me and the fact that you got a mega dark LH test too backs it up!

Pitstop1986 · 28/01/2023 20:24

@Tbark Congratulations! That's a clear positive to me! How exciting! Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy

DancingNancies · 29/01/2023 20:46

@Tbark I see a line too - how exciting! 🤞❤️ typical with the digital though, that's exactly the kind of luck I have too! 😂

I'm ruling this month out tbh, I've been so ill this last week that my fertile week has been the last of my worries! Tbh it's been a bit of a relief to know it's off the cards, not sure I could have coped with the stress of ttc on top of keeping myself and my boys alive this week so onwards and upwards to next month!

MrsL22 · 29/01/2023 22:18

@DancingNancies sorry you’ve not been well!

I’ve had enough of dtd so just going to see now if I’ve done enough to catch it. Pretty sure I ovulated about 2/3 days ago as had ewcm on Thursday and then a brief sharp pain on and off in my right hand side on Friday.
But I’ve got tender nipples today 🙈 haven’t had before so no idea what that means. Guess I’m in my tww and we will wait and see 🤞🏼

30mummy · 30/01/2023 10:39
