Hi,

Currently trying for DC 2, already have a 2 year old DS.

I should have ovulated today 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Anyone else entering the TWW? Due AF 7th Jan but will probably end up testing a couple days before 😄

I've had a hideous cold for the last month so I feel like I've no idea what's a potential symptom and what isn't 😂

Just wasted a test which came up as a BFN as expected...got to hold now to see if AF makes an appearance before I disappoint myself any further! 🙄

Starting to finally feel a little better today although been sleeping terribly still.

Noticed more watery CM and cervix is soft and closed. Hoping that it is a good sign?!

Unless I haven't ovulated at all yet 😆

What's the difference between cm just before AF pregnant v not pregnant? Can anyone give any insights?

@Pitstop1986 as with seemingly everything pregnancy-related, I think it varies person to person. With my pregnancy in September, I had noticeably more CM than I have usually and it was more like on my fertile days. Having said that, with my previous two pregnancies I don’t remember any difference at all really…

@MrsL22 me too!!!

But I’ve also been running and not drinking enough so a bit dehydrated which probably isn’t helping that issue.

I’m very ‘emotionally on-edge’ this evening which is very normal for me in the days before AF so I’m expecting to go out of the running any time between now and Sunday!

But they say that early pregnancy symptoms are almost all PMS too!!
I feel very sick tonight so that along with toileting issues - I’m also predicting I’ll be out soon 👎🏼
Like we say, not out until AF shows… Let’s try and stay positive! I was so certain we’d have some BFPs!!!

@MrsL22 I admire your positivity! The (lack of) symptoms I have are definitely not the same as when I’ve been pregnant previously. I’m also at a point where I feel I can’t allow myself to get my hopes up - better to assume the worst and if I get a surprise BFP then that will be delightful!

Like you, I was really surprised at the lack of BFPs in the group this morning. Statistically I would have expected a few more!

@Downtherabbithole83 Maybe it’s just early for us all. Maybe in the next few days they will all come to light. I’m torn between giving up hope and enjoying the surprise (if it happens) and being so positive that I manifest a BFP 😂🙈

I’ve never had a baby before but they do also say that your pregnancies won’t necessarily be the same. I have friends with more than one child who couldn’t have had more different pregnancies.

Yes - my first two pregnancies (with my ex husband) were similar apart from the level of sickness but my last one with my current partner was very different - though that could be because it’s with someone different or because there was something wrong. We’ll never know, I guess.

I’m trying very hard to ignore anything that could be a symptom and just wait for Sunday. If there’s no AF by Sunday I’ll let myself buy some better tests 😂

@DancingNancies I’ve always used mid-stream tests in the past, particularly clear blue (both early and regular, not the digital ones). I’ve found them to be reliable and I’ve got good strong lines when positive.

This time round I’m using IC and so having to dip. I find it a bit of a faff and prefer just peeing on a stick but they are so much cheaper so I’m going with it!

I think I'm out this month. I've just had some more spotting. Yesterday it was pink, whereas just now it's red, so I think it's the start of AF and she's coming a couple of days early. That's a bummer 😕 if I'd have conceived this month my due date would be DHs birthday, which would have made it a bit more special.

Oh no @Pitstop1986 - really sorry to hear that AF has arrived.

I’m starting to think I’m out too. Another BFN on a cheapy stick and I’m getting cramps that feel more like AF than anything 👎🏼

I am proud of myself because I didn’t test today! So silly. What have I become?! 😂🤦‍♀️

I tested again today🙈 I'm too impatient.
BFN again today, I'm ruling this month out now 😔

If it makes you feel better @cdn298 I tested negative the day before AF with DD and only got my BFP a few days later (although didn't test in between so not sure when the positive would have turned up)

@cdn298 not out yet then - everyone keeps telling me you’re not out until AF arrives! (Though like you, I find it hard to stay positive)

@Pitstop1986 I read a thread on here in the night about someone who had spotting for 7 days before their BFP. Has AF actually started properly for you yet?

@Downtherabbithole83 I've put a pad on, but it's very stop/start spotting. I had nothing last night, quite a bit of thick brown discharge late morning, then nothing since. I'm sure AF will start in full force any minute. I think there's too much for it to be implantation bleeding.

I only had a tiny bit of pink mucus on one wipe with DD

@Pitstop1986 I’ve never experienced implantation bleeding in any of my pregnancies so wouldn’t know what it’s like.

Ttc is a constant rollercoaster of questions, emotions and uncertainty.

@Downtherabbithole83 TTC you also think that you know your body, then spend each day questioning whether or not this is normal for you!

Still no more bleeding from me, since late morning, but that feeling down below that you've just come on your period. I must be going to the loo every 30 mins just to check if AF has arrived yet or not! This is horrible!
