Anybody 1DPO?

Bit of background, we’ve been trying to concieve
for 11 years and I was diagnosed with PCOS, we successfully got pregnant on clomid in 2016 sadly ended in miscarriage at 11 weeks. Due to getting married we held off for a while plus covid got in the way. So now we’re trying again I’m back on clomid after losing some lbs and adopting a more healthy life style, I’ve successfully ovulated this month which feels like a massive achievement.

Here’s to our 🌈
never giving up. #1DPO

Sorry for the radio silence ladies...so after a confusing week of tests AF arrived this morning, so here's to another month 🤞🏼 staying positive 2nd month was lucky for us last time so hopefully it follows suit...

Congratulations to all those who have got their BFPs 👏🏼 ✨👶🏼

I'll keep you all used on my journey can't wait to see you all get your BFPs 🤍♥️

@MR5TD4 oh bless you! These bloody tests have a lot to answer for don’t they… I had my BFP but had a very confusing morning with some tests 😅 I think the one batch I used was a dud but it’s ended up with me spending more money again this morning to confirm BFP - and I’m a little hesitant now 😣 I’m due AF tomorrow, had BFP yest on about 3 different tests but wanted to be certain before telling partner today and then get that bloody curve ball!
hoping you get a BFP next month and wishing you all the luck in the world xxx

PCOSunfortunately · 26/11/2022 11:05

@Yolo23 so sorry I missed your message! Massive congratulations girl ✨👶 that's mocktails now for your holiday!

@MR5TD4 so sorry to hear this! Such a tormenting time isn't it! Glad you're feeling positive about your next cycle! We're going to have BFP's for Christmas I can feel it in my waters ❤️🤞

Scrumpy10 · 26/11/2022 12:26

@MR5TD4 so sorry to read this. Lots of luck for next time.

@Yolo23 huge congratulations!

Yolo23 · 26/11/2022 12:36

@PCOSunfortunately thank you! A bit hesitant now with that possible dud in the mix but atleast it manages our expectations and excitement a little! Had 2 digi positives this morning so hoping the seed is gripping on tight!! Thanks @Scrumpy10 🥰 wishing you all and everyone on this forum the very best!! Xx

PCOSunfortunately · 30/11/2022 18:14

How's everyone doing guys?

I'm getting fed up now on my third cycle of clomid and I have no LH peak whatsoever 😔 I'm on cycle day 14! Last cycle I could see it progressing well it went from 0.39 to peak over night. Today was a score of 0.11 just feel so dis heartened with it all 😢💔

Yolo23 · 30/11/2022 19:00

Hello @PCOSunfortunately my positive turned out to be a chemical. It was horrible as I’d had around 5 positives (all digital) but I could tell something wasn’t right and started spotting a day before AF and on the day of AF. Spotting turned into clots (sorry TMI) and my digitals turned to negative. So I’m back in the riding seat 🤣 it has however given me some slight hope as I’ve never been a stage ahead before… it has also made me promise to never text early again. Wasted so much money plus could have avoided unnecessary worry…

sorry to hear about your clomid situation- how long do you stay on it before another follow up??

So sorry I've been AWOL the last few days, it's been my birthday and loads of other stuff going on..

@PCOSunfortunately ohh no so sorry to hear that it was chemical ☹️☹️ I have a two positive tests before my period turned up Saturday one was an internet cheapie and the other was a just a £1 from Asda on the Friday before AF so when I woke up Saturday to AF I was gutted!

I'm officially staying away from internet cheapies.

I'm currently on CD5 and day 4 of my clomid tablets, I've also started taking 75mg of asprin and I'm purchasing some pre-seed. Upon checking last months data we reckon I'm actually ovulating on CD19 on a 32 day cycle.

I hope you all get your BFPs soon, I'll be positing with updates 🤍

MR5TD4 · 30/11/2022 19:24

@PCOSunfortunately sorry I tagged you regarding the chemical and it was for @Yolo23.

However don't feel disheartened you ovulation may come a bit later I ovulated on CD 19 my peak it's around d CD17.

🤍

Oh no @Yolo23 so sorry to hear that 😢 that's why I don't like to test too early! But I know we're all impatient at the same time 😞 least you know you are able to get pregnant in a way! Wishing you lots of luck for your next round and a lovely holiday that you can enjoy ☺️ next cycle I go to 100mg I have the tablets already.

@MR5TD4 so sorry about your chemical to 😔 at least you've had a busy week so able to distract your self! The week when you're on your period seems to fly by doesn't it I think! I've bought pre seed for this cycle to but I have my doubts this cycle now! What does the aspirin do?

I thought you ovulate 5 to 10 days after clomid so thought I was out for this cycle. Just so annoyed as last cycle was a strong peak on day 15 😕. Let's just try and enjoy the festive season and give ourselves a break ay xxxx

MR5TD4 · 30/11/2022 21:20

@PCOSunfortunately -

Everybody is different as it's put me on a 32 day cycle so I'm ovulating later. I'd suggest keep tracking your LH your definitely not out yet ☺️

Aspirin reduces inflammation, so it's thought the way it can help fertility is by reducing inflammation in the womb and thereby creating a safe environment for an embryo to grow in. - so due to PCOS we generally have inflammation so it helps reduce it apparently anything is worth a shot.

Im dubious about the pre-seed but I'm willing to try anything, I've got a check up with the gyno on the 20th December.

But here's to Christmas Miracles 🤍

PCOSunfortunately · 07/12/2022 13:00

How is everyone doing? I'm 4dpo today well I'm not sure if I ovulated this month. I did get a positive on cycle day 16 but was different to last time. Got my progesterone test Friday to confirm. Trying desperately not to symptom spot and keep up with Christmas festivities to keep me busy 🎄💫

MR5TD4 · 12/12/2022 16:35

@PCOSunfortunately

Did you ovulate ?

I'm on Cd 17 I got my positive LH this time last month but not today, I may have potentially ovulated earlier but I'm not 100% sure or it maybe later then normal.

Sorry I've been radio silent been a busy few weeks! Hope your all looking forward to Christmas 🎄

Hi everyone!

I had my transfer today and I test on 23 December 😬
Does anyone know if you should put your pessary vaginally or rectally the day of a transfer? Sorry gross question, but I forgot to ask the nurse which is best on the day of transfer.

PCOSunfortunately · 12/12/2022 20:31

@MR5TD4 I think I did on cycle day 17 but not 100% waiting on my blood results. I'm due on Saturday and If like last time it will start Thursday and tbh I'm feeling like I'm going to come on 👎🏻

Oh no you still have a few days don't you. Or like you say could have been earlier. Yes this time of the year is great for distracting us!

@amkw im sorry I don't know nothing about transfers but I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you get the best Christmas present ever ✨🎄

This month has been odd I haven't had the normal bloated full feeling I get around ovulation instead I've got weird stabbing pains but I use pre mom and I haven't had a reading as high as last months yet which is really confusing me.

Just don't get how it could work last month and potentially not this month everything I've done is the same.

I love this time of year! I went to Stratford Christmas market the weekend it was hectic but it's always a lovely day out. Plus we have SNOW which is my favourite! 🤣❄️🎄

OP posts:
PCOSunfortunately · 12/12/2022 22:12

I get those stabbing pains a lot! I'm thinking of asking them to see if I have endrometriosis as it's took my breath away four times today with the pain! Yes I'm the same pre mom is saying I hit peak but I haven't had as high a score on pre mom either this month! That's why I requested a blood test! Maybe you did and you missed your surge? I find my surges really quick and my pre mom report says they're rapid rather than gradual!

Oh me to!!! My house is like Christmas vomited all over it 🤣 love love love Christmas! I'm sad because I thought I would have had a child by now but I have to be positive as I still have my lovely partner and dog 🐾 some people don't even have that do they 🥰😢

Ohhh were same sweet!

I have a 11 year old Shih tzu who behaves like a spoilt child 🤣🐾

Last month I hit my peak on CD 17 I've not had a reading over 0.59 this month but I do think it may have been CD15 because I had a tiny amount of spotting and it was my darkest test.

So now I have two weeks of frustration to contend with 🤣, I'm back at the hospital on the 20th so I'll see what they say 🙂.

Awwww ours doggies are our babies 🐾 mines a 4 year old cockapoo cross. I think he's crossed with a shizhu though. Very loving 🥰

Hopefully you do ovulate on cycle day 15 can you not request a blood test I do? I just say I'm unsure if I did or not and would like a test done.
Doctors confirmed that I had ovulated this month. But I definitely feel like my period is about to come 👎🏻 I called gynaecology today to ask them about endometriosis they said I need to call my GP. GP said they had no appointments. I get sharp pulling pains throughout my cycle do you? Least you're back at the hospital on the 20th not too long to wait. Let us know how you get on ❤️

PCOSunfortunately · 17/12/2022 09:59

Booooo! My period came this morning smack bang when it should 😢

I don't know what's going on I've ovulated I've used pre seed and still no BFP!

I up my dose of clomid to 100mg (dreading the side effects)

MR5TD4 · 20/12/2022 13:07

@PCOSunfortunately ohh no!!! So sorry 😞

Well I have had a positive LH this month but all signs of ovulations really weird!

I'm terrible with replying lately I apologise!! I've had my gyno appointment today, I've been changed to letrozole 2.5mg twice a day, I'll be having my bloods done day 1,21,28 along with metaformin. I can't start until the first week of Jan as I need to give it 6 weeks from my last AF.

I've got a 4 month prescription if this doesn't work then they'll look at ovarian drilling and double check my tubes. If that doesn't work it's iui or ivf referral inbetween now and April my BMI needs to come down abit more as the other options have strict criteria's.

I was prepared to kick and scream in there today but it turned out to be quite pleasant!

Wishing you all Merry Christmas... 🎄🎅🏼

So sorry @PCOSunfortunately !! I’ve been quiet on here lately but recognised your username 🥰 sad news about AF!! Bloody nightmare. Hopefully some luck in the New Year 🤞 unfortunately you can do everything by the book and it never goes to plan. Just keeping hopeful for the future is working for me mentally at the moment. Have you some nice plans over Xmas which can make AF go a bit quicker 😊 xx

PCOSunfortunately · 20/12/2022 20:20

@MR5TD4 that's good that you finally got your positive LH though isn't it!
That sounds like a brilliant appointment! I bet you feel happy knowing somethings changing. Let me know how you get on with letrozole.
Hopefully it will happen for you now you're being looked after more closely!
Ive been on metformin since march. I asked for the slow release version as I read bad things about the instant normal one. It can really upset your stomach. I've had episodes on the slow release one where it has aswell! But it does make you lose weight! I lost 8lbs on it in the first few months.
I'm on 3rd day of 100mg of clomid and feel fine touch wood no side effects!
My sister in law announced on Saturday she's 14 weeks pregnant 🥰 over the moon for them but why is it so easy for people!

I've had a letter today off the gynaecologist saying my recent blood tests show sign of ovulation so stick to the plan for now. Shocked they followed up tbf!

@Yolo23 I know it's just so frustrating isn't it! My partners impryl came today so I've got him taking them to try and help the sperm swim better 🤣 I have to laugh or I'd cry 🤣🤣 yes I'm hosting Christmas so it's a busy time for me! Hope you all enjoy your festivities and have a lovely Christmas🎄💖 2023 will be our year ❤️🤞

Lol what’s impryl!? You have me curious 🤣 hosting Christmas - my gosh you’re brave! Although yes a welcome distraction no doubt 🌲🥰 have a great festive period xx

@Yolo23 it's a tablet to improve sperm quality. Google it. It's not cheap but it has really good reviews 😘 xxx
