What does implantation pain feel like?

Hi, I'm about 6dpo today. I've been getting an achy pain in my lower abdomen on the left side all evening. Sort of pinching feeling at times. Feeling a bit queasy too. Hoping it's implantation pain🙂

@MrsAl1 yes I still have symptoms. Sore breasts and nausea. Maybe it's just my body playing tricks on me🤣

I felt a sudden twinge, enough to make me atop work and sit up straight. I thought it was period pain but couldn’t understand the timing. It subsided to an achy period-cramp feeling that lasted maybe ten minutes I think.

@maryd84 @MarmaRell78 my period is also due on Sunday but it says I should test on the 4th of October instead! Fingers crossed for all of us, I think it’s too early to test eek so exciting!

I think I got a positive on tests I took this evening. The lines are faint but AF is not due for another 3 days.

Got a FRER today. Feel more confident in these tests than the clear blues.

I'm still negative, but there's no way my period is coming tomorrow as I usually spot for 3/4 days before, and this month there's nothing... Wondering what the best way to actually take a pregnancy test is, as I never do it first thing in the morning, but perhaps I should

Still negative on a frer! Very strange... Temps still up, period due today, but doesn't feel on the way, boobs have been sore in a different way than before my period. 13 dpo... Feel like it should be showing up on a test by now. So what's going on?!

Hope ye don't mind me jumping in. I found this post while googling implantation symptoms. I've had a pinching sensation the last few days in my uterus and spotting yesterday and today. I'm hopeful it's implantation rather than my period coming 6 days early. I too am wondering if I am imagining symptoms though. I've had one other pregnancy 4 years ago and I think I had similar symptoms. For sure my periods are very regular and I don't normally have spotting at this stage in the month. Anyways I don't want to get my hopes up but it's lovely to see good news for the OP in this thread :-)

@MarmaRell78 I was saying in another post a while ago we need to normalise people getting positive tests late. I didn't test positive until 10 days late. We focus so much on testing xdpo and I think for some women, it can cause unnecessary pressure.

Keeping everything crossed for you, but really, it is still possible to get a bfp after your period is due.

@Glera thank you. Yeah I was reading something similar about how hcg levels actually work and I've realised that some of my tests have no chance of working as early as I've tried 😂
My temp is at its post ovulation temp, altho not particularly high, still no period or spotting or anything so maybe still ok? I keep reading posts that say a frer should pick it up by now, so that makes me think maybe not! Not testing today as don't have many left 😂 it's the not knowing I can't stand.

Another bfn this morning, and I think a tiny bit of blood, so suspect I'm done! Temp starting to go down a bit as well. I think my body definitely tried to do something as this has been so unusual for me (and what definitely looks like an implantation dip). At this point I'll actually just be glad to know one way or the other and crack on!

I have had cramps the last 3/4 days, I am 5dpo and today I had only a few sharp stabby pains but this seemed quite far to the left, still pretty low. TTC #1 and all of this is so new. My body certainly feels different to normal but is it in my head? Did anyone not experience pains at all but still got bfp? 🤞🏻

Still no period! Keep thinking it's coming, still not arrived. Still bfn on the cheapies. 🤷‍♀️ Anyone know when to expect bleeding after a chemical?
