anybody else would like to TTC but still BF and not ovulating yet?

DS is 11mo and still has couple of BF at night. We thought we'd be at least trying for DC2 by now, if not already pregnant, but periods not yet returned. I know I may be lucky and just not get them at all and get a BFP but it's like the great unknown, will I won't I, ooh was that a symtom etc. Very hard not to reach for the tests every 2 wks!

Anybody else in a similar posotion?

Is it too late to join in? I too am breastfeeding but hoping to conceive, the two problems being that my period has not returned and I can never be bothered to have sex .
Starlight MacKenzie - are you still around? How did you manage to cut the feeds down then up them again... tell tell tell!
Although if this involves bottles instead which I guess it must I fear it wont help as DD only takes her milk from one place!
Congratulations Choolie! How exciting! Did it take you long to conceive last time? (sorry if details already given - not read entire thread...) How many feeds had you cut down to when AF returned?
Wilst I'm here and rambling... Does anyone know the answer to this...
If you have a day where you only feed 3 times instead of 5 - might you be fertile on this day? Is that how it works or is that really stupid - sorry if it is - I have no idea!
Anyway - how's it going generally girlies? Any more successes?

Am still ttc had first AF since Aug 06 on the 12th so should be CD14 but no real signs might be ovulating.

Think am in for a long wait...

I dont' think I'm going to be getting anywhere soon. The temps I've managed to take haven't shown anything like my pre-DD post ovulation highs, so I suspect I'm not ovulating yet. That said, DD has just started sleeping a bit better (managed not to feed between 1030 and 645 last night for the first time in AGES!) so maybe things will change.

If anyone wants cheap tests, I bought some of these from Access Diagnostics. Clear Blue are nice, but these are about a 10th of the price!

loopylula - what kind of time scale is your sine wave over? If you want real experts on Temping you might want to have a look on Fertility Friend. I'm not one, but it sounds to me as though your cycles are starting to regulate themselves (certainly sounds more promising than mine, which have been pretty flat for the last 40 days ) Fingers crossed for you

I have managed not to feed between approx 10.30-5/6am since just before Christmas. Then reduced feeds to 3 x day-not sure if that contributed to getting AF on the 12th?

I also got lots of mucous for the 2-3 weeks before AF and was V grumpy for the same time! Actually wondered if I was pg but no was AF. Glad I had got those cheap Access diagnostic HPT's. Was checking virtually every day as had same symptoms as early pg and wouldnt have known where cycles were.

Have tried their ovulation predictor tests but no sign of anything yet which fits with no OV signs.
