Hoping for a BFP in July

So thought I'd start a new thread for anyone who's hoping for a July BFP. My AF showed up today a week early after getting loads of pregnancy symptoms 🥲 think my body is still out of sync after my miscarriage in April.

So let's stay positive for a July BFP 🥰

@JB2021 what cycle day are you? I would say you haven't ovulated yet but only your temperature rise would confirm if you had or not so hard to say if you aren't temping. I would just get down to it and keep DTD anyway x

@allgoodthings84 thank you! Just pleased we haven't missed it. I'm hoping to test first thing, then out middle of day for work then can test at tea time 5pm ish.

If i get a positive, it's 3 days DTD. We have been doing every other as doing SMEP and that was last night, I was debating tonight just incase but if I don't catch a positive tomorrow I might just assume it is

@JB2021 this is true! I had a very faint line Monday morning, come the afternoon it was as dark as anything. That's why they call it a surge. As it is simply a surge of hormones so your lines may not get progressively dark. It may go from light to dark in the same day x

if you’re doing every other day anyway you won’t miss your window so don’t worry too much as I think the worrying I did last month (my first month using opk) pushed my ovulation back and I know it was pushed back as my AF came late too and I’m never more than 1 day late. I 100% think it was me stressing that did it. This month I knew the OPK worked so didn’t stress snd ovulated at a normal time for my cycle length and for AF to arrive at my normal time (or hopefully not 😂)

I know it’s easier said than done but stressing can definitely delay ovulation which will also delay AF. No issue if you get a bfp though of course

@Angie2018 @allgoodthings84 thanks both. We said we weren't going to get too stressed out over TTC but clearly are! SPEM and every other day to give ourselves the best chance.

If i get a positive tomorrow then assume ovulation within 24 hours?

I think I read ovulation after peak can happen between 24-48hours. So I peaked Monday meaning I either ovulate Tuesday or Wednesday. I DTD Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday but couldn't Monday due to night shift. Hope I caught it. Will maybe DTD tomorrow too.

So my cheapie tests say don't use FMU but as I think I'm close to a positive then I thought I would.

How accurate is it?! Is this my first positive!

Yes absolutely I ovulated 24 hours after my peak. It can be between 12-48 hours after x

Peak!! Get DTD as much as possible for 3 days!!!

Sounds like you've DTD loads!! You should be fine!

@Angie2018 eeek! Wasn't sure if it would be right as it's FMU which cheapies say not to use

Day off work for me tomorrow. Doing SMEP. Plan was to DTD anyway today so I understand its now today, tomorrow (Friday) then Saturday. Miss Sunday and then DTD on Monday again?

@Angie2018 think I'm 4 days now. I'm ok just tired from work last night and on way to my voluntary job now then got work at 4 tonight too.

How many days are you? How are you? I don't do temp tracking. I use to do it when I was TTC my eldest DS XX

@Angie2018 actually think I'm 3 days from my Premom app but Femometer is saying I'm ovulating today but Sunday defo was my peak day xx

@Angie2018 I hope so. I'm going to class today as 1DPO then. Excited for tww. Due 6th/7th July. Eek!

@JB2021 yes that's it!! And then you can't miss it!! I won't be doing the extra day tomorrow as I know I ovulated on Tuesday so I've either conceived already or the egg is not alive anymore so it's pointless for me. My temperature has rising two days on the trot, I also got the ovulation dip before I ovulated. It's basically so it catches a late ovulation!!

@Angie2018 I'm confused as to when I'm due AF. My Femometer app says 8th and my Premom says 4th! When are you due?

I'm only really busy with work Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. I do the odd Monday and Tuesday too xx

@My2boysaremyworld I am due AF I think 4th, as I ovulated a day earlier than the app says and it's saying the 5th.

Ah that's ok then not too bad!! I am shattered today, one of my puppies has been crying the last few mornings as he misses our other puppy who is in the vets as she's had surgery.

I've got a chilled few days now thankfully! Just going to go to yoga and do minimal work 🤣

Will you test early? What's the earliest people test from? I don't normally test early unless I get symptoms xx

@My2boysaremyworld I am trying to stop myself from getting too stressed but it has been horrendous knowing she's in pain. She's my best friend in the whole world & I miss her being near me it's horrible.

I think people test from like 7dpo but for me that's too early, if I feel how I feel last cycle or get any normal implantation symptoms then I will test early depending on when they are. If I just don't get my normal PMS symptoms then il test maybe 10dpo which is Friday 1st July.... if by next Friday I have my normal PMS sore boobs, low hard cervix, and feeling ratty I won't bother. I normally get pains in my cervix a week leading up to AF, I think it's from where it moves to a lower position. Strange but if I don't get those il test Friday as well. Unless implantation symptoms come at like 7dpo il test next Thursday xx

I'd say earliest I test is 9dpo but I'd be lying as I've been known to test as early as 6dpo 😆
