Thanks MrsEi25 - thoroughly depressed here. BFN this morning (too early to test I know but I couldn't resist!) and then the start of what I thought was AF this morning (very slight change in colour) but now gone back to normal. Highly likely that af will appear tommorow but can't help but hope. Just want to know now and also seriously considering stopping trying if this month doesn't work - I don't want to drag it on too long as I'm too old (well - feel it!) and we have plans that would make it impossible with a really small baby.

Hi All, you know I wanted to invoke sods law by joining Weightwatchers...???

Well it worked - I tested earlier this evening and got a bloomin' great BFP !!!

I was shaking so much DH couldn't see the result properly

MrsEi25 · 25/01/2008 20:33

i said it on the symptom spotters thread but HHHUUUUGGGGEEE CONGRATS to missusH!!!

cluckyagain · 25/01/2008 20:37

AWWWW - MissusH - congratulations! Well done to all of the graduates - it never ceases to amaze me how incredibly happy that little pink/blue line can make us all!! NOAM - thanks for the kind words - much appreciated tonight!

MissusH · 25/01/2008 20:43

Thanks both - I am still stunned!

I hadn't really noticed any proper symptoms but looking back I was a bit constipated over the past week (thought it was change of diet - d'oh ), I have had loads of creamy cm and boobs were same tenderness as when af due...

MissusH Congratulations!

cluckyagain · 25/01/2008 21:17

Hi - trying to cheer self up by trawling through chat - how about we choose an appropriate t shirt slogan for our hopeful future child/children? Mine would be

..and to think they almost stopped at 3!...

MrsBish · 25/01/2008 22:06

Many Congrats SydneyB and MissusH!!

I just love logging on and seeing more BFPs!

What's the earliest I'm allowed to test with a 32 day cycle?

clouisewood · 25/01/2008 22:24

I'd say maybe 3 days before AF is due with a clear blue but even then it's only about 70% accurate I think.

Spink · 26/01/2008 09:17

MissusH YAY!
clucky - you are lovely, well done for trying not to be swamped by the evilness of ttc ups and downs. No idea what my bub's T-shirt slogan would be. 'I was sticky!' would do it for me..

no spotting here since yesterday morning. I have decided that I am going to go with the excitement of thinking it is implantation, I'm feeling sick particularly at nappy smells bleurgh, and just feeling a bit.. funny... so that MUST mean I am pg.
I know it is madness to get too hopeful, but I am SICK of trying to play it down, and sensibly prepare for disappointment. Preparing for disappointment is so BORING
hugs to everyone. and sending a huge cloud of babydust..

oh spink cant believe it seriously is there anyway you can get a false positive????

have you ever heard of anything like this before?????

clouisewood · 26/01/2008 19:23

Congrats sambrads!!
I think if you get a BNF then it can sometimes be wrong....BUT a BFP TWICE!! Congrats!!

Spink · 26/01/2008 19:27

I agree with pistachio - MUCH more likely that Dr tested you at the wrong time than that TWO tests were wrong!
I feel so excited for you, I wish I could see your face as it starts to sink in and feel real..
Mind you, I totally understand that you can't believe it cos you really weren't expecting it - sounds like you'd really prepared yourself for a long wait! Maybe you can get out to your supermarket and get a couple more tests - then you'd know for sure that there was nothing wrong with the batch of tests you used...

sambrads · 26/01/2008 19:27

thanks so much clouisewood i am waiting for my odctor to phone me back to see if everything is ok so cant believe it!!!

can someone explain how i got a positive test if i did not ovulate?????

she tested my bood on day 20 of my cycle could this have been to soon?????

i am trying to think positive but i just dont think its possible!!!!
