Just wondered if anyone else was at the same stage as me at the mo. First full cycle since miscarriage in January and hoping for our rainbow baby 🌈. I've been (slightly) obsessing over ovulation for the last week or so and I've finally passed that window and waiting patiently to be able to test in a couple of weeks time 🙏

Sorry park fertility was 4th March! Sorry I’m so distracted, not even making sense.

Rainbowbaby13 · 15/03/2022 14:53

@SettlePetal My peak was the 5th and it's too early for me to tell but my period isn't due until Saturday

I had a MMC in July 2020 I had a d&c procedure at the end of the month then had a normal period in august and got my bfp in September my little boys nearly 10 months now (might be crazy trying again already 😂😂)

At this stage a clear blue wouldn't work for me but A pink dye test is usually more sensitive you could try a first response early detection

SettlePetal · 15/03/2022 15:01

@Rainbowbaby13 thanks so much. I find the whole process less than easy re the timings and probably read info from too many different sources. So how long is your cycle using then?

Congratulations on your 2 lovely boys and wow! Yes you are brave going for it again, but why not! It's definitely a heart and head thing for me. We have just gone through potty training my youngest and I'm keen to get back to the baby phase again!

Rainbowbaby13 · 15/03/2022 15:46

@SettlePetal my cycle is pretty average 28/29 days. It's really hard to get your head around everything when trying to conceive until you try everyone makes it sound so easy but it really isn't

embob993 · 15/03/2022 16:40

@Rainbowbaby13 I'm 9dpo too and still had a bfn 😣 I'm going to behave myself and wait another few days until I test again. I use the first response ones. Thinking about getting some cheapy strip ones though. Its still very early though for us both 🙏 I don't have many symptoms at the mo either.. although I've had a headache and nausea the last couple of days.. but some of it could be because I had a couple of gins on Sunday and I'm getting too old for it 😬 Maybe wait another couple of days until you retest too and keep us updated x

embob993 · 15/03/2022 16:43

Hi @settlepetal 😊 I second that. Try a test that's a little more sensitive. I've seen quite a few people on here say the clear blue ones aren't reliable for early detection!

SettlePetal · 15/03/2022 16:50

@embob993. I might wait until Thursday, St Patrick's day, and see if I have any Irish luck then! Sunday gins sounds wonderful! I went out of my way to grab some hash browns this morning for breakfast as I was feeling "nauseous," well that was my suspected pregnancy excuse anyway. It's so hard not to read into every physical symptom, which could in all likelihood just be PMS. Thinking of you all, and will report back. Will ask look for some other/better tests, thanks!

Rainbowbaby13 · 16/03/2022 10:05

No luck at 11dpo but I've ordered some FRERs not sure I like the test strips

How's everyone else today?

Rainbowbaby13 · 16/03/2022 16:38

So I have some light bleeding this afternoon only when I wipe but I have no idea why my period isn't due until Saturday and it's usually bang on and surely it's too late for implantation unless I ovulated later than usual so confused

Oh well never mind over thinking it won't help 😂😂

embob993 · 16/03/2022 19:03

Ooh that's exciting! If it's only on wiping and is early for your AF it could still definite be implantation bleeding. Some people get it up to 13dpo or so 😁 Just keep an eye on it and if it gets heavier or it's bright red then you'll know either way. Will keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞 I'm 10dpo today and had another bfn this morning (couldn't resist waiting a couple of days.. again lol). Sorry for such late replies, only just got sat down properly after work and making tea etc

@embob993 sounds like you've had a busy day. I was looking at the app I use and it's only counting my cycle as 27 days but I've always been 30/31 I'm wondering if it doesn't have enough data to get my cycle right yet because I only stopped the pill in January 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't know I'm so impatient need to take a chill pill 😂😂

embob993 · 16/03/2022 19:25

@rainbowbaby13 It's so confusing isn't it 🙈 I've just checked mine and mine says my cycle is 27 days too and like yours this is my first month of recording it. I can't believe I've got to 29 and don't know my cycle! The app is recommending I do a test in 9 days unless my period starts in 6 which doesn't make much sense to me either 🤷‍♀️

Just starting the tww and driving myself mad already!! 😂

Rainbowbaby13 · 16/03/2022 21:48

@BoyMum18 good luck

Im pretty sure trying to have a baby is the most frustrating thing which is completely different from what my teachers told me at school 😂😂

embob993 · 17/03/2022 06:31

Bfn 12dpo! Have to admit I've had a cry this morning. Not sure why exactly as was expecting it after being the same yesterday but maybe I'm just over emotional today. Never thought this process could be so hard! We only started trying properly in December and know these things take time but it's taken over my life since we mc because I know how much I want it.. and how quickly we got pregnant in the first place 🙈 it'll be our first baby too so feel like I'm in the dark as to what's going on inside my body! Sorry for the moan so early. In a strange way when af does come it'll be an odd relief because then I know we can start fresh again.. just hate the yucky wait inbetween ovulation. Love and baby dust to you all!

@embob993 I completely understand how you feel it definitely takes over your life with all the tracking and when you want something so badly patience goes out the window. Crying it out might actually make you feel a bit better I like a good cry sometimes

My first boy we finally got pregnant after a year although had 2 MCs along the way but I know it sounds cliché but it will definitely be worth the wait

I think I'm out too had some more bleeding this more not a lot and it's not red yet but I feel like it's the start of my period

Onwards to next month we go

ArcEnCiel2022 · 17/03/2022 08:35

@embob993 I'm really sorry you feel like that, and I completely understand it as well... I feel similar, and it's like my life is suspended until I will have a successful pregnancy as I only think about that since my first MC in September. It would be my first too, and I'm really scared it could never happen for me (I'm 37). I've been pregnant so easily 2 times, but both ended in MC, and this time it seems to take more time so I get desperate (even though I know it's normal...). So I completely get what you mean, I hope you will feel better.

Sorry I didn't post since my first message, I have been away for a long weekend and it was perfect to make me forget about the TWW. I'm now 10 dpo I think, and I had some BFN at 8 and 9, I don't think I will test today, probably tomorrow. I'm already convinced it won't be my month!

oxfordinwinter85 · 17/03/2022 12:19

I'm out too! AF arrived this morning ...it's only when I wipe though which is odd and it's pink red....not brown or deep red...

My AF is due next couple of days so I think it is AF!

Feeling a little sad! And frustrated.

SettlePetal · 17/03/2022 12:30

@embob993 I could literally have cut and paste your message. I am in the same boat today. My rational brain is telling me it's only the start of the process but I had convinced myself on the downlow that I had all the symptoms this week and as I was about to test this morning I found blood when wiping. Just feel sad, as the symptoms are so similar. YM husband says all the right things, but I just want to feel sad today. But also want my period to start so it's a clean slate again. What sweet misery we all have to go through. Sending good thoughts to everyone.

embob993 · 17/03/2022 17:03

Youre all so kind, thankyou! It's nice to have this forum to share experiences with. My OH has been great and he's really relaxed about the whole thing but it's nice to be able to vent and have other people to relate things with! It looks like we'll be carrying this forum on until next month.. And will continue to keep eachother sane ❤😊

Moosh18 · 20/03/2022 13:52

Hi, I’m 2dpo in cycle 5. I already have 2 DS, 4 and 7, and had an ectopic resulting in losing a tube nearly two years ago.

I hate the TWW! Ov was 2 days late this cycle, so hoping for a mature egg nicely grown egg!

I’ve been crampy left pelvic/groin area yesterday and today, lots of thick mucusy CM as well.
