Just wondered if anyone else was at the same stage as me at the mo. First full cycle since miscarriage in January and hoping for our rainbow baby 🌈. I've been (slightly) obsessing over ovulation for the last week or so and I've finally passed that window and waiting patiently to be able to test in a couple of weeks time 🙏

I'm just over halfway through the 2ww at 8dpo. It's also my first proper cycle since my miscarriage in January at 8 weeks. I was also devastated when I didn't get another BFP before my first period. I got pregnant first go last time so I was probably being a bit optimistic that it will happen that quickly again lol!
Had some twinging/cramping in my lower back and pelvis over the past two days but attempting to hold out a couple more days before testing since it could also just be PMS.
Fingers crossed to see some BFPs from everyone Grin

@oxfordinwinter85 @lollyx96 I had really bad congestion, the feeling like I needed to blow my nose but I wasn't snotty. Almost like hayfever. Had that with all my BFPs before I got my BFPs and I don't get it with usual AF. Good luck!

Wow our timings have been so similar. We fell pregnant on the first time trying too and was a big (but welcome) surprise that it happened so quickly after being on the pill for 10 years. I then miscarried in January and we've been trying since then. I'm sending pregnancy fairy dust to you all ❤

It's strange isn't it how it can just happen sometimes and then take so long! I got pregnant first month which sadly ended in a MC, then it took 10 months for our DD!!!

Does anyone know anything about temping, I've had a massive jump in temp today at 6/7 dpo??

Anyone else currently going through the dreaded 2 week wait?
PeanuttyButter · 12/03/2022 08:29

Looks promising @Moosh18

Rainbowbaby13 · 12/03/2022 08:51

7dpo today woken up with stomach cramps even though my period isn't due for another week

Also might be getting a cold which is typical because it's my birthday tomorrow

@Moosh18 that looks good 🤞🏼 for you

Moosh18 · 12/03/2022 09:00

@Rainbowbaby13 thank you it'll probably drop right down tomorrow, I think I'm getting a cold too! Could be the rise in temp explained! X

oxfordinwinter85 · 12/03/2022 10:02

@Moosh18 that temp chart looks very interesting....can I ask do you just use a basic home thermometer...in the mouth before getting out of bed?
I've been trying to temp when I remember and when I remember not to move too much!!

Five days out from AF and I've had these stitch cramps....headache on and off...

But ....could this be Pre AF 🤷🏻‍♀️

Moosh18 · 12/03/2022 10:21

@oxfordinwinter85 yeah I just use a bbt thermometer, my temp may not be too accurate as I'm still up in the night with DD but I think it's accurate enough to confirm OV, which is what I use it for rather then trying to predict pregnancy really....

With my DD and my MCs my first sign of pregnancy was a pulling pain to the side when I moved too quick!!! X

Moosh18 · 12/03/2022 10:22

@oxfordinwinter85 just a cheap one off Amazon! I think it was 15 quid! X

PandoraVictoria · 13/03/2022 16:15

I'm CD 19 and for reasons that I don't fully understand I did a test today 🙄
Surprise surprise - it was negative. It was only a cheapie one though, one of those ones that you can get 2 for £4 type of test and I happened to have it at home.

I do have symptoms, but pretty much the same as my period. If the symptoms were due to pregnancy then I'd get a positive test, right?? So I'm out for this month?

Moosh18 · 13/03/2022 16:30

@PandoraVictoria how many dpo are you?? X

PandoraVictoria · 13/03/2022 16:49

At a guess maybe 5.

embob993 · 13/03/2022 17:26

Noo absolutely not! 5pdo is so early! Unless your period starts then I wouldn't be worried. Your egg might not have implanted yet even if it had fertilised xx

OP posts:
Moosh18 · 13/03/2022 19:02

I wouldn't worry at all then!!! Implantation wouldn't of even happened yet, I think it's unlikely to get a positive before 9dpo!!

I have no symptoms at 7/8dpo... other then I have really painful bloating! X

embob993 · 14/03/2022 08:22

I tested this morning at 8dpo with a bfn. I was gutted but know its still very early. Going to try to resist the temptation of testing for the next few days!! 🙈 I have tests stacked up in our cupboard but the disappointment can't be any good for my MH. I hope you're all well xx

OP posts:
Moosh18 · 14/03/2022 08:54

@embob993 I did too :( 8dpo! Negative. Was it just a cheapie test? When I was pregnant before even at 15dpo it wasn't that dark so maybe it's the test?! Fingers crossed 🤞

PeanuttyButter · 14/03/2022 11:06

I'm 5dpo today. Will start testing at 8dpo I think as had a squinter at 9dpo before. Not hopeful this month though due to the late ovulation and some spotting I had at 3dpo

Rainbowbaby13 · 15/03/2022 09:02

I tested this morning I think I'm 10dpo although it could be out by a few days either way anyway got a big fat no

I had really bad cramps Saturday which I was hoping was implantation and I've been feeling sick the last couple of days but it could just be coincidence

Mother Nature is due Saturday I think my cycle isn't always spot on

🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Rainbowbaby13 · 15/03/2022 09:04

Also I only have the really cheap one step test strips I haven't used them before not sure how reliable they are

Moosh18 · 15/03/2022 10:04

@Rainbowbaby13 I'm 9 dpo today bfn, my temps gone down too but I've had a fever over weekend so I have no clue what temps are doing :( I think I'm due on Sunday x

Rainbowbaby13 · 15/03/2022 11:15

@Moosh18 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I always get my hopes up and then get disappointed 😢 I know I shouldn't but it's so hard not to when you're doing everything right

Moosh18 · 15/03/2022 11:32

With my DD I did a test at 15dpo on a cheapie and it was so faint! And you are 5 days behind that so don't give up! No way would I of gotten a line at 10 based on how dark my line was on 15dpo

Hello I am so glad I found this trend! I’ve been Googling but can’t find info on my situation. Sounds like a lot of people are going through the same thing. Hoping for some advise. I’m TTC after a medically assisted silent miscarriage at 10 weeks in January. That was my 3rd pregnancy after 2 healthy pregnancies and babas. I had my period a month later, in February, which I was surprised at coming back so quickly, and we started ttc using an ovulation tracker at the end of Feb. Peak ovulation flashy face was on 20th Feb. I was expecting my period yesterdayish and have convinced myself I have pregnancy symptoms -feeling sicky, fuller left boob and little tingly. I also had a rotten cold and sore head last week. I took a clearblue test this morning and it’s negative. Now thinking I’m imaging these feelings. Should my hcg levels be higher at this stage one day pass missed period? Just wondering if the miscarriage is messing with my body. Clear blue says it should be accurate or should I wait and try to test again? If so when? Not much choice I suppose
