Implantation???

Hi All,

I'm currently 6 dpo and experiencing really weird, sharp pains in my lower stomach. Not had anything like this before! They feel kind of like period cramps but then can't decide if it's chronic bloat?!!

Is this likely to be implantation or something else???

@MrsYan I'd say anything out of the normal is a good sign!

Feel better today. Stress might be causing the nausea and the cramps were prob ovulation. I don't get pms symptoms other than feeling down before my period so I can't really tell if anything is different!

I am 9dpo and don't know how to feel really. I've had mild cramps and a pink tinged discharge today. Those are not normal symptoms for me in the days leading up to my period. However, I do have really sore boobs which is normal for me. So I've no inclination either way but I don't want to test yet.

@Climbingthelaundrymountain those symptoms sound like the real deal.

@L3tsD0Th1S2020 do you think? With my other children I've felt sick or dizzy. This stuff is new. I was thinking today maybe AF is coming as I feel like crying all the time but usually my PMT is feeling murderous!

When is your AF due? Implantation happens around 9dpo. These were the symptoms I got with my last pregnancy. Pink along with cramping. Not everyone feels Implantation but for me those were the symptoms! By dpo13 I got a positive!

It's due 2nd March. I won't test until next Friday I don't think, just in case.

Arghhh now had a bit more brown dischargy/spotting/grossness in my knickers!! Had cramps again on and off today. What is this?!! It's still too early for a period. I thought implantation blood was pinky red too. Who knows!

I'm actually concerned there's something wrong at this stage instead of being pregnant!

@gossipgirlxoxox I've had more pink discharge this morning too. This is so unusual for me but I can only think it's got to be my period starting. I can't believe it's implantation. I'm 10po. I really don't want to test just to be disappointed.

Your colour definitely sounds right though. I'm sure implantation is normally pink!

Mines gone again today but just going to monitor it as mine shouldn't be my period starting yet so idk what it is. Unless my period is suddenly changing to a shorter length x

@gossipgirlxoxox I'm not due until Wednesday but maybe I'm coming on early? I don't know. It's been a long time since I last did this! I can't remember anything!

Hmm I hope you both can keep yourself busy in the meantime! Not being able to test right now is difficult!
I did a FRER test just now since my AF would have been due yesterday or Friday but it came up negative! I guess I just gotta wait for late AF now.

Yep definitely think this is just AF coming extremely early. Cramping again today :(

Pretty sure this is AF coming early because I've had no cramping today and pink discharge has turned brownish.

My boobs still don't hurt but our massive and heavy. Strange. I have been out and about today and have been in a horrible snappy mood and when I got home had to have a two hour nap and I still feel tired now 😴🥱 due af on Wednesday so few more days of wondering! Hope you have all had good weekends, have you done anything fun? Xx

Hi @MrsYan I'm sure AF is on the way but never mind. We have just had our usual weekend of ferrying children to football or friends. Food shopping, cleaning and all that fun stuff!! How about you?

Still got this strange brown spotting :( it's day 3 of it on and off. I do always get brown spotting for approx 5 days before my period but my period wasn't due for 11 days when this started so I'm so confused.

I've been in a Google hole and it does sound like implantation can last for a few days but I'm thinking it's more and more unlikely now. However I cannot explain it if I do get my period early as that isn't normal for me. When I googled implantation it did say it happens normally day 26-28 which is the exact time the spotting began. But obviously I still have it now! Sorry im rambling again!!

@gossipgirlxoxox how strange! How do you feel in yourself? Could you of ovulated slightly earlier?

I had a good weekend thank you, busy and I'm knackered now. Had a few days off work last week and I'm excited to go back to work tomorrow, I miss work when I'm not there lol! Xx

@MrsYan this is only the first cycle. So I know I shouldn't get my hopes up. Bleeding seemed more period-like earlier but has now stopped. 🤷‍♀️

@Climbingthelaundrymountain I think it's just as hard however long you have been trying- I am slowly loosing hope as this is our 6th month.

Something strange happened this morning... I woke up because I could spell a strange smell that was making me feel sick. Like really sick. Like run to the bathroom and be sick. The smell was... wait for it 😂

Pickled onion monster munch 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 there are no pickled onion monster munch in our house but I did have dominos the other day so thinking the spell is left over from the herb dip?! Who knows but it's gone in my app as it was weird lol.

My boobs are now slightly sore, this usually happens by 5DPO at the latest (I checked) I am now 11dpo so this is really late 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I agree with MrsYan it doesn't matter how long you've been trying. The brain and body seem to always trick women into pregnancy symptoms when they are ttc! Even if they are just new period symptoms- so harsh!
No sign of AF still! Not even any period or pregnancy symptoms anymore. No idea what's going on! I'm on day 30 so late but could still arrive I guess. I'll test again end of week if nothing!
All fine otherwise thanks. So busy at work and moving house soon so crazy times mean I won't over obsess with symptom spotting hopefully!

I'm pretty sure I'm out and this if AF rather than implantation now. Good luck to everyone else! I will cross my fingers for you and look forward to seeing lots of positive tests!

I'm sure I'm out. The cramps have got even stronger but the spotting has calmed down a lot but looks redder. Literally looks like spots in my knickers now. I'm so sorry for all this detail I'm putting you all through!!
