Hi,
we have been trying for over a year now and I’ve never had a + test before.
However, AF is two days late according to Flo app, and my cycle 1 day longer than my longest cycle ever, so I’m confused.

Been taking ICs (one step 🙄) and all negatives, now CB went positive after 15 minutes. I know you’re only supposed to read them in the time frame, but has anyone else gotten a + result after over 10 minutes and it was still true? Line is definitely blue … but I’m not getting excited because it may still be an evap. 😩

I will try again with FMU tomorrow or in two days, as this one wasn’t…

What do you think? Am I still in or am I reaching? 😬😬

Sorry I saw your FRER after I posted. Unfortunately also looks like an evap/ indent. I hope we are wrong though!

Wait - your FRER has a line and your first one has? That’s two evaps in one day? I suspect you are pregnant as two evaps are really rare- honestly even after the time the only thing that will turn that line pink is the presence of HCG. But leave it a few days and do another frer.

My first thought was that something like that can happen only to me haha 🙄😂 I will try to stay away from thise tests for a couple of days, I have 3 FRER left and one clear blue. But I just want to give hcg the time to double IF there is any … so 2 days, I have to stay away from them for two days. 😂

I can't see anything on your latest test, could just be because the picture looks dark though. From my own experiences of using the blue line test, the first pic looks either like an early positive like when I've tested 3 or 4 days before I'm due on, or an evap. I'm going to say evap because normally at 2 days after your missed period you would get a much darker positive.

Read this thread. The reason lines show up hours after the time specified is the urine continues to travel over the hcg strip and becomes dark enough to see with time. The very important difference is a negative test will NEVER go coloured. A positive one will.

All 3 of my kids were faint “evaps”: the reality is, evaps are rare.

Look: I’m slightly nuts but if you want to, run one of the frets under water from the tap. Leave both tests to dry over night. Compare them. If the first one has any colour is likely you are very early pregnant.

Very difficult to see with the lighting in frer picture, but I'm fairly sure I can see a faint line. If it appears within 10 mins, you can count it!! My best friend had a clear blue 'evap' who is now a beautiful, clever nearly 4 year old. Keeping everything crossed you get your BFP xx

I dont think you het evap line with clear blue. I could understand after 30 mins or an hour maybe but 15 mins I'd say is a positive. Keeping my fingers crossed for you

All these people saying you can’t get coloured evaps… I had three with a Tesco test last month! They were off centre thin blue lines like yours. Very much blue. I’m not saying you’re not pregnant and I hope you are but the time limits are there for a reason. Once it’s up, take a look and if it’s negative then bin it and forget about it for another day or two when you can test again. You’ll save yourself a lot of squinting and anguish and googling!

This was my evap last month. Obviously it’s very thin so not a positive but just sharing to show how blue it was. The key is it went that way after the time limit. At no point did I get a line within the time limit.

I really hope that’s not the case for you and that you get a proper BFP soon but just wanted to dispel the myth that you can’t get coloured evap lines!

I got another “evap” on Sunday.
And two faint positive cheapies yesterday and today. 😬 AF is not here yet … CD37, was supposed to be 31 days long.

I'd say they are BFP however with you being several days late on your period I'd expect the line to be much darker by now - do you know when you ovulated? - I know loads of posters will be along to say a "line is a line" but I've had 7 losses myself and taken hundreds of tests over the years

How is the second clear blue an evap? It looks like a clear positive to me. How quickly did it come up? In my experience internet cheapies are always faint. I would buy a digital today.

For that one I waited a couple of minutes but since there was no faint line in that time I gave up and went back to sleep. 😂🙈 So I don’t know when it eventually appeared. 😂 I was just too knackered at 6am. When we woke up at 7, I went to throw it away and there was a line. 🥺🙄

I just think that if I am pregnant, all tests should be +? And some have faint lines (some ICs) while some still don’t. 🥺 And all of this is super weird since I am around 6 days late. I should get a proper line by now …

I took a FRER and it was VERY faint … too faint I think, considering some people get good lines before AF is even due.

There were two in a pack, so one left after I took one, and my DH threw the whole pack away accidentally 🤭 So I’ll just wait and see if AF shows up or go get a blood test. 😬

Nobody will give you a blood test.

Buy a digital. It it does not say positive this long after ovulation then you have your answer.

Just got back home from a blood test, results will be in between 4-7pm. This will shed some light on the whole situation. 😬

I’m not sure a blood test will be any more conclusive will it? The tests look like you have some HCG which presumably the blood test will also show. Sadly it’s a bit of a waiting game to see if the levels increase as they should. I hope it works out, I’ve been here myself (positives not getting darker) it’s very difficult.

I just want to know if there is any HCG or if maybe these are all just terrible evaps/false positives. 😬 For me the price of a blood test was pretty much the same as a Clear Blue digital would cost me, and it will give me a number. 🙂 Hope to get some answers.
