Hello ladies!
No matter how early it is, no matter how many symptoms you have or don't have drop your tests below and let us make a testing group and be each other's eyes.

I will test on Monday, which is the day AF is to arrive (... unless I'm just too curious and test during the weekend).

Baby dust to all of you!

@allthingssparkly Do you have a rough idea? If you’re using OPKs what’s the ballpark days between a positive OPK and AF? And ballpark days between “peak randiness” where you want to climb DH like a tree, and AF?

Either way, the ideal answer is you’ll never find out your luteal phase length because you’ll get knocked up this cycle 🤞🏻 Otherwise start a chart next cycle and mark up +ve OPK and any EWCM, then AF, and you’ll get your answer.

But this time around I would just DTD now and test again in 10-12 days time if AF doesn’t show up in 7.

stuntbubbles · 24/02/2022 10:27

@allthingssparkly I always get 2 positives in a row! Fertility Friend charting only ever seems to take the first one as gospel. Basically OPKs aren’t testing ovulation; they’re testing the surge of LH hormone which happens right before ovulation. Some people have a short surge and never test positive on an OPK because they miss it, but still ovulate. Some people have a long surge like me and test positive a lot. Generally you can expect to ovulate 12-36 hours from the start of your surge.

Coastaldreamer · 24/02/2022 10:29

Ok I couldn't wait any longer. This is on a one hour hold on a cheapy! Tell me you can see it ?!

Obsessive testers welcome!
Charl881 · 24/02/2022 10:31

@Coastaldreamer very clear line!! Congratulations!

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 10:31

@stuntbubbles so dtd today and tomorrow, technically I'm still within a good chance? 🤞 we dtd quite frequently last week thinking that was the week I bloody ovulated 🤣🤣 trust this to happen to me!!

Charl881 · 24/02/2022 10:31

@Coastaldreamer did you get a BFN yesterday or have you not been testing? I can’t keep up but know you’re similar dpo to me. That’s such a strong line, how exciting for you.

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 10:33

Congratulations @Coastaldreamer 😍

Coastaldreamer · 24/02/2022 10:34

@Charl881 no worries. I did the same test on Tuesday when I was 9DPO. I was going to wait till tomorrow but today also been feeling nauseous so I tested following that crazy positive OPK.

Now of course all I'm worried about is I had the same last month and ended in chemical. Need to focus on the positive - a line is a line and all that

stuntbubbles · 24/02/2022 10:35

@Coastaldreamer Whomp! There it is! Congratulations!

@allthingssparkly When did you get your first positive OPK? Sounds like you’re in with a chance anyway, any day within three before O day, and O day itself, is meant to be good.

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 10:41

@stuntbubbles well I thought I got the positive OPK on an easy at home test on CD11 kept testing till CD15 and the lines were fading on the rest of the tests.

Did two OPK's tests yesterday morning (CD21) and one this morning (CD22) and they were both positive.

DTD on CD's - 5,8,10,11,12,14,17 & 21 this month 😬

Coastaldreamer · 24/02/2022 10:44

@allthingssparkly sounds like you more than covered your dtd days!

ttc5years · 24/02/2022 10:45

@Coastaldreamer I definitely see that line! Congratulations!!

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 10:46

@Coastaldreamer I hope so 🤞⭐🤞

Found a screenshot shot of my tests from around CD11/12! 😊

Obsessive testers welcome!
allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 10:47

Even though it says "low" it was the darkest test out of all of mine from CD7 right upto CD15!!

stuntbubbles · 24/02/2022 10:49

@allthingssparkly I don’t think that CD11 test is positive – it’s close but it’s not as dark as the control. It may have started surging but then stopped for whatever reason, or you just missed testing at the peak.

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 10:51

@stuntbubbles Ohright, it was a very strong line in person 😬 will just keep DTD I suppose and hoping for the best if I am ovulating now 😩😩

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 10:51

My stash has arrived 🤣🤣

Obsessive testers welcome!
Coastaldreamer · 24/02/2022 10:58

@allthingssparkly you doing it now ?

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 11:00

No I don't think so, I did a pregnancy one earlier and is what negative it will put me down in the dumps seeing my negatives when all I want is a positive 😬😩🤞

I'm just not sure if the one I did earlier was an early one, these that have arrived detect HCG from 10miu

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 11:00

*it was

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 11:03

Or do I just one? 😬 forgot to tag you in the above @Coastaldreamer

stuntbubbles · 24/02/2022 11:05
@allthingssparkly you doing it now ?
I honestly thought you were asking about sex and was like “I guess we’re all friends here but hope her DH doesn’t mind her scrolling Mumsnet while they’re doing it”

Coastaldreamer · 24/02/2022 11:07

@stuntbubbles hahahah that made me laugh!

I did just mean the test though 😉

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 11:07

@Coastaldreamer 🤣🤣🤣 I've made sure he has his morning break shortly as I'm patiently waiting to do some baby making 🤭

allthingssparkly · 24/02/2022 11:08

@stuntbubbles was supposed to tag you in the above - apologies! 🙈
