Hi all. Currently in the TWW and if we conceive this cycle bubba will be arriving in October! Anyone want to join in symptom spotting and testing 😊?

@MadamMaltesers thank you, no i wasn't. I fell pregnant first cycle trying in July and that was the one that ended in MMC turns out it was a Partial molar pregnancy so would've never progressed past 14 weeks, and first cycle after the MMC I fell pregnant and ended in CP at 5 weeks. I have baby aspirin here for this cycle to take from tomorrow and I hope that will help 🙏🏻

arianasky · 24/01/2022 18:00

@MadamMaltesers sorry to hear about your MMC also, no background in progesterone at all but I also had the D and C in October and my womb hopefully is ok

Cruz86 · 24/01/2022 18:05

Hi @MadamMaltesers. Sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I also had one in November and, although it was my first one, I am concerned about progesterone levels. So I'm getting a test done tomorrow to see what my levels are like. There is new NICE guidance to suggest that progesterone can prevent miscarriages, so I would definitely say it's worth trying. Good luck x

Mariabombia · 24/01/2022 19:48

@Tandabear I'm so sorry to hear about your losses , I can't imagine how hard that's been. Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy 💕

Oo bless you, do you have to do this yourself then? Hope they're not really painful for you 😓

MadamMaltesers · 24/01/2022 21:26

@arianasky oh ok, I really hope the baby aspirin works for you. I would get my progesterone checked just in case. I'm going to give it my all this cycle and throw everything at it. I'm just so tired of these messages, I don't even get excited when I see a bfp. I hope October 2022 is when we get our rainbows.

@Cruz86 yes pls get it checked, do not wait around. I got mine checked last cycle at cd21 and it was 22. From what I gather it should be higher and more like 30 plus. I'm not getting any younger so this year really is my last chance saloon. Praying for pregnancies that stick!

MadamMaltesers · 24/01/2022 21:27

Messages=miscarriages

Cruz86 · 24/01/2022 21:44

Thank you for the insight @MadamMaltesers. I am nervous about the results but hoping that it'll give me some info so I can better prepare for the next pregnancy. I'm 7dpo today and this is my third day of spotting already, with cramping. So not sure it's my cycle 😞 Good luck, keep us updated with how you get on x

Bridgey8 · 25/01/2022 01:18

Hi guys - sorry on a different time zone to you all at the mo!

So I tested again this morn... what do we think about line progression? So scared after my miscarriage last Nov!

Wish I had better test than the internet cheapies!

mummytorm · 25/01/2022 06:57

@Bridgey8 looks like hcg is rising nicely!!

I'm 6dpo today and really refraining from testing 😬

I caved straight away. I'm so ridiculous.

However. Can any of you see anything? I saw a vvvvvvvvfaint line come up as the dye was moving along the test. I know these cheapies are notorious for having evaps etc but all my previous tests in the past have been stark white! I used these last month too and saw evaps after a while but not this soon. Trying not to get my hopes up that it will be darker tomorrow. I'm only 6dpo so not holding out hope

@mummytorm sorry I can’t see anything at all but like you say it’s so so early still.

BFN for me at 9dpo. Need to remind myself this doesn’t mean I’m out.

Bridgey8 · 25/01/2022 08:22

Sorry @mummytorm I don't think I can see anything either but 6DPO is so early. I had a BFN at 9dpo so deffo not out yet! Xx

mummytorm · 25/01/2022 08:26

Thanks girls. Probs just my eyes playing up haaha! I did have some twinges yesterday so 🤞🏼🤞🏼. I'm just sooo impatient. It doesn't help that last two pregnancies happened on cycle 1 so now I feel like I just need to know. I'll be disappointed if it doesn't 😆

@MadamMaltesers ah thank you, I will contact the drs if I'm not pregnant or if I have another CP this cycle

Mariabombia · 25/01/2022 09:44

@mummytorm can't see anything but it is super early! I think earliest people have seen a vfl is 8dpo!

Are you going to test again in a few days ? Best of luck 😁😁

Mariabombia · 25/01/2022 09:45

Ah @arianasky I recognise your name from another thread. Hope you're okay lovely, all the best for this month ❤️

BiscuitLover3678 · 25/01/2022 09:47

BFN , of course it was! Only 8dpo so was probably a bit silly of me.

Mariabombia · 25/01/2022 09:49

Amazing @Bridgey8 !! Congrats 🎉 that line progression looks really good! are you on holiday or something? Have a great time 😁

arianasky · 25/01/2022 10:51

Same @Mariabombia, I'm all good thank you 1DPO and wishing the time away haha! You?

Catching up on the thread over lunch - those ladies having progesterone checked, how do you get referred for something like that? I have no idea what to do as I don't meet the "2 consecutive losses" over age 35. Last year's mmc baby was perfectly formed and stopped growing at 9.5 weeks so I wonder if it was a clotting issue with the placenta...don't want to go through the same again just to "prove" it, the gap with other siblings is ever widening so this is probably the last year we have Sad

Cruz86 · 25/01/2022 12:41

Hi @PoopMaster. I've just had my progesterone test done actually and it's because I have symptoms such as spotting before my period for 5/6, some pain during sex and terrible lower back pain between ovulation and period. You can buy one privately from a place called MediChecks and then if anything worrying comes back, you can take that info to your gp x

Charl881 · 25/01/2022 12:48

@Bridgey8 that looks like great progression! What dpo did you get your BFP?

PoopMaster · 25/01/2022 12:49

Thanks @Cruz86, I will check that out. Was also going to ask local midwifery team about baby aspirin and how soon to start. Just want feel like I'm doing something...even if it doesn't work.
