5/6 DPO and symptom spotting….who’s with me?!

This will be our 21st cycle TTC….long time. In that I’ve had two PULs that both naturally passed at 6 weeks. One in January 2021 and another in September just gone, I’ve had one period since and now praying I’m pregnant this month.

Don’t know if my mind is playing tricks on me or if I’m experiencing the same symptoms as my last pregnancy, really gassy (both ends) and having night sweats…and I’m suuuure my nipples are more sensitive but this could also be down to the freezing weather!

Any one else out there driving themselves mad and desperate for the day they can start testing?!

Yep I think I’m 6dpo today but can’t be sure. On the look out for symptoms and had zero so far, usually by now I’m tricking myself into feeling some so not sure if it’s a good sign or a bad one 😂

Me! I'm 8DPO today and foolishly tested yesterday and today - BFN of course 🙄 ever since I ovulated I've had AF-type cramps which doesn't usually happen, and my nipples are tingly and sensitive. I'm going to keep testing each morning as I can't help myself 🤦‍♀️

@lettyloulou I’m 8DPO today too and tested BFN this morning. It’s very disheartening! When is AF due?

Yep. 6/7 days post O. I keep poking my boobs to see if they’re sore like in my last pregnancy. One of them is slightly but I’m pretty sure it’s bc I’m poking it so much!

@Curlywurly3 hi! AF is due on 4th December which is 6 days. I'm driving myself mad here trying to decide whether to get some FRER and test tomorrow or whether to just stop it and wait a few days! When is AF due for you? Do you have any symptoms? xx

Hey!! Sorry to hear your journey OP. Been TTC our #2 for 12 months now. Two MC this year. Currently 6/7DPO and been getting groin pain on the right hand side for a few days plus some minor period like pains AND sensitive nipples! I really don't want to get my hopes up 😕 I might test tomorrow but with easy@home dip tests as I'm fed up of forking out for FRER.

@lettyloulou I have 25 day cycles so AF due Wednesday. FRER’s are 6 days before AF but I guess I have to give my body time for implantation, 6 days before AF is 5DPO!! My boobs are starting to hurt which always happens before AF arrives

@Curlywurly3 yeah I think it’s 6 days before with a 28 day cycle or basically 8dpo. I stock up on cheapies then I can just test whenever I want without breaking the bank 😂

@Curlywurly3 could be pregnancy though 🤷‍♀️ we were on a ttc break the time of my last pregnancy. I had pretty sore cramps and was so sure I was about to come on any minute I had pads installed ready. Then it got to three days late and I was so hacked off and PMS-ing so did a test the following morning out of pure f*cking frustration and there it was 😅 that was April this year (went on to miscarry sadly) - the colour has kept but you can see how people get those nasty grey-ish evap lines on blue dyes can't you 😫

Anyway. I have two FRER - tomorrow is 9DPO but I wanna wait until 10DPO really if I can xx

Ahhh this post has taken off which is great!! My sore nipples have now disappeared and @SRK16 I think I'm probably causing the sensitivity the same way you are 😂 constantly giving them a poke and tweak to check!

I'm going to do a frer in the morning and see if anything shows up...not counting on it this month though! With my other pregnancies I just knew I was pregnant...this month I feel like my mind is just playing tricks on me! AF is due next Sunday so testing way too early but my others have always shown up 7DPO.

@WhatTheEll thanks for your kind words!! Fingers crossed this is all our month to get a sticky one! So sorry for your losses too, if you don't mind me asking, how far along were your MCs? I feel like getting pregnant is only the first hurdle and terrified I'm just going to lose it again when it happens!

Feel like we all could do with a win! Also I don't know if this is just me but I'm obsessed with trying to get one in before the Christmas rush 😂 too many babies end up being due in September!!

I’m the same, I’m pretty sure my past pregnancies I knew (or strongly suspected) around 6 days post o. I’m trying to hold off testing until Tuesday or Wednesday but the FRS are taunting me. I think I’m probably not.
I went back through my Ovia app to when I was pregnant with my son two years ago and I’ve listed all the symptoms but it’s hard to know how strong they were! Funny how the mind plays tricks.

My first mc was at 9 weeks and was a blighted ovum and my second was at 7 weeks and was originally a suspected ectopic but then identified as pregnancy of "unknown location" (I think?).

Fingers crossed for everyone!! All I would say with symptom spotting is that EVERY pregnancy is different. With my DS I had no symptoms whatsoever and then with both my MC I did have symptoms from early on. You never know..... xx

So it was negative with an obvious Evap line (don't buy frers on Amazon...so many dodgy ones!) hoping it's still too early to test and maybe I just haven't implanted yet?! Just feel like I'm out already though...And found out our friends are pregnant yesterday after only one month of trying 😫!! Didn't ever think I would get this obsessed with trying to get pregnant!

Are FRS off Amazon really dodgy? How would you know if you had a bad batch. I bought some last week. I’m going to hold out until Wednesday I think! But pretty sure it’ll be negative.

@Littlebun1 I had same with my friend!! I'd been trying 6 months by that point, they DTD once and she was pregnant! 😭😭 always the way! Xx

BFN on a FRER this morning 🙄 I'm 9DPO with five days to go until AF due so I would have thought it was show if I was going to. Got fairly moderate cramps too, almost like I need paracetamol. I'll probably hold off and test again Wednesday with another FRER when I'll be 11DPO but losing hope over here.

Aww I'm sorry for your BFN. As they say though you're not out until the witch arrives! Think we can all agree mine is stark white negative!

10DPO today (four days before AF due) and another BFN on an easy@home cheapie. I've read that the average day for implantation is 9DPO which means hCG wouldn't be picked up from at least 11DPO - but I'm not kidding myself, I'm most likely out 🙄 has anyone else tested today and got some better news? I live for the BFPs 😅💕

I'm another BFN today at 8DPO...@lettyloulou I feel out too. I know they say implantation normally happens between 8-9dpo but my others have all been so early and I have zero symptoms now!!

On another note...only because I'm super paranoid about it and would like to know your opinions...do any of you know if orgasms affect implantation? I've been avoiding them - making my poor OH suffer until it's time for baby dancing again 😂

I tested BFN yesterday at 9DPO and I’ve just done this now at 10DPO, AF due tomorrow and having period like cramps. I’m not sure what to think!

That has given me hope, each month I get annoyed thinking I’m out if I don’t get a line at 8dpo which I know is ridiculous,

Thank you ladies 😘 I’m really hoping so. I was at the doctors when I took the test randomly as I was picking up some antibiotics, the receptionist said it was negative and the doctor said it was inconclusive! I have had 2 CP before a BFP with my DD so I’ll feel better tomorrow if it’s a little darker and AF doesn’t show!
