5/6 DPO and symptom spotting….who’s with me?!

This will be our 21st cycle TTC….long time. In that I’ve had two PULs that both naturally passed at 6 weeks. One in January 2021 and another in September just gone, I’ve had one period since and now praying I’m pregnant this month.

Don’t know if my mind is playing tricks on me or if I’m experiencing the same symptoms as my last pregnancy, really gassy (both ends) and having night sweats…and I’m suuuure my nipples are more sensitive but this could also be down to the freezing weather!

Any one else out there driving themselves mad and desperate for the day they can start testing?!

@Littlebun1 they look promising as they do have colour! Clear blues are a nightmare though, are you able to get a different type of test?

BFN for me today on a FRER at 9/10dpo. I know it’s still early but I think I’m out as I only DTD once during my fertile period anyway.

How’s everyone else getting on?

AF has arrived for me today! Only 9/10dpo, my shortest cycle since TTC. Not too worried as my cycles were this short sometimes when TTC my DS. At least I can’t waste more money on tests. Good luck to everyone else this cycle!

@Charl881 same. AF started properly today 10DPO. I have 25 day cycles. Curse and a blessing

@Charl881 @WhatTheEll So sorry you're both out this month!! Don't think I'll be far behind you!! AF is due on Sunday but it feels like I'm about to start any second and after my miscarriage who knows what my body is going to throw at me!!

Sorry to hear of those of you who are out, I don't think I'm that far behind tbh. Did another FRER this morning- bfn- and AF only 4 days away now so surely it would've picked something up if pregnant esp as it was FMU ☹.

@Littlebun1 I'd avoid CB like the plague. I got a very dark blue line last month on the same test you're using and dared to believe I was pregs, turned out I wasn't. Would post the pic, but deleted it when realised it was a false positive 😔.

Also, I know what you mean about uncertainty after mc @Littlebun1. I had an MVA after mine in May this year and the doctor told me I'd be very fertile in the coming months so would def need to use protection if not wanting to fall pregnant again. Well, it didn't happen in our case yet! To be fair we've not had the easiest time since May. We waited till my first period after the MVA so we tried in July, Aug (while I had a tummy bug 🤦‍♀️), Sept we had to skip because we had covid, Oct and now this month. We caught Covid while both double jabbed so we wondered whether to wait a few months until trying again post covid, but time is not really on our side- I turned 38 in Oct and DH 40 in July- so we thought we'd go for it as life really has to start going on now, Covid is not going away. Having said that, Oct and Nov have been ttc post Covid and don't know if that's reducing our fertility/chances so it's all up in the air.

Hi @GirlMama21 I got my hopes up only for them to be dashed with stark white negatives last night and this morning. Tried to convince myself I could see a line on this mornings one but it was definitely just an Evap! Zero colour to it!!

11DPO now and definitely feel out. Cramping as though AF is on her way...I miss the days in my youth of begging for her to turn up!! If I'd known it was going to take this long to conceive I would have thrown caution to the wind years ago!!

@GirlMama21 so sorry to hear you both had Covid! Hopefully it doesn't cause you any issues!! Randomly the last time I was pregnant I'd had my Covid jab and it had pushed my ovulation 2 weeks so when we DTD I didn't even realised I was ovulating. Hate feeling like the jab might have had something to do with the miscarriage!

I'm forever trying to reason with myself that it was a good thing I didn't get pregnant in lockdown as I would have had an awful stressful pregnancy but that's just me trying to make myself feel better that it's taking so long!! I would definitely take a lockdown baby right now!

My bloating was food poisoning 😭 I did a CB digital on Wednesday when I was probably 9 days PO, not pregnant. I have no symptoms or sore boobs so think it’s game over this month, but that’s okay. Just hoping I ovulate next month, I have pcos and I’ve never managed to actually ovulate as expected. Had fertility treatment for my son and am hoping to avoid it if possible! I’ll test again tomorrow to be sure as meant to go out for drinks in the evening. But I know it’s a no!

I'm not holding out much hope now, getting v familiar pre menstrual pains just like I do every month around this close to starting. Not sure whether I'll test any more unless I end up being late...

Can I jump on? I'm driving myself mad. Walking around the house feeling my boobs like a psycho. Period due any day from Sunday

I'm now 13DPO or so I thought... AF should arrive tomorrow and I've counted myself out this month based on BFNs up to 11DPO. But this evening I had a couple of pale pink wipes which I thought was the start of the witch's visit, so put a pad in.

Soon after I felt a pretty major discharge (grim, sorryyy 😀) but after running to the bathroom fully expecting blood there was nothing. Just watery discharge. Usually when AF attacks it's 0-60 in about 20 minutes. And nothing since.

I'm probably clutching at straws here 😔 but let's see 🥺 it's possible I put ovulation a couple of days before it actually occurred, which would put me at 11DPO 🤦‍♀️

Welcome to the thread @daisiesandpeonies AF is due on Sunday for me too!! Have you tested yet?

@lettyloulou did you give up with testing after BFN on 11DPO. Feel like I'm going to stop testing now until after AF is due if I still haven't come on! Wasting so much money on tests! Keep us posted on what happens, I've got everything crossed for you and sending baby dust your way! X

@GirlMama21 I'm getting the same pains but also a weird pulling feeling in my stomach so I don't know what to think!

@SRK16 sorry to hear you weren't well! Love your positive attitude on just cracking on again next month! I'm always devastated when af arrives! When I had my ovaries checked they suspected I have PCOS but I never had my testosterone checked so they never confirmed it. Does it cause you any other issues apart from lack of ovulation?

@lettyloulou I exactly the same d11 po and have had pinky/brown on wiping only. Lots of cramping but hasn’t changed and it’s only when I wipe!?! Praying this is implantation…. Poking my boobs like a teenage boy uggghhhhh I just want to either have my BFP or AF I can’t stand this waiting in limbo

@Littlebun1 not yet, I'm going to hold out until next Friday if AF doesn't show up. I'm hoping to see some bleeding as had implantation bleeding when fell pregnant with DD 🤞🏽

What does implantation bleeding look like? I had the faintest bit of jelly like discharge tinged with brown and pink last night and was adamant that I'd be waking up the AF this morning but she hasn't come 🤔 don't want to get my hopes up but I've never had that happen before!!

Is 11 dpo too late for that?? X

Woke up to an unpleasant surprise early this morning- what I'm assuming is AF 4 days early 😢. Not surprised given the cramps were getting worse. Good luck to everyone else still in with a chance ❤.

I think 11 dpo might be a little late for implantation bleeding @Littlebun1, but you'll only know for sure if AF comes, all the best xx

@Littlebun1 I had that at 13dpo with my pregnancy (turned out to be a chemical sadly) so it can definitely happen that late :)

Thought my period was starting so used a pad but got nothing further, and then tested when I was about 4 days late and it was positive.

I'm out ladies - AF is here with a vengeance 😩 OH is going away for work so there won't be any ttc for a couple of months now. Good luck all of you still in with a chance this month ✨

@Littlebun1 my implantation bleed was 13days PO with my DD.
Just started breaking out this afternoon 😫 usually spots = af coming for me. Can't remember any last preg

Also @Littlebun1 sorry forgot to say implantation bleed was browny pink and gloopy, very light. The early signs I can remember before testing were being really tired, bloated, sore boobies and cramping in my sides. It was so much like pms...

The witch is here this morning on her broomstick made of tampons Gah, took us 14 months with DD looks like we're headed for a long slog with #2 too

@daisiesandpeonies AF well underway here too 😣 more period pains than ever this month! DS took 3 months to conceive and we're now 14 months in ttc #2. Might start a referral in the new year

Hi All 💕 thanks for your responses!! I'm so confused with what's going on with my body. Didn't come on my period yesterday like I thought I would then last night i wiped and there was a smear of brown blood and then pink white cm....thought again I'd be on my period this morning but NOTHING. I'm now 13dpo. Tested yesterday which was negative and don't want to waste anymore tests.

I've never spotted before my period so don't know what to think. I've had a period in between this and my miscarriage but maybe it's still messing up my body?!

It all just feels too late to be a pregnancy but I've googled it and it can happen 🤞🏻 just trying not to get my hopes up!!
