TTC starting now

Hi all

Just wondered if there was anyone else starting out now that wanted to keep me company?

Background is that I’ve been with my partner 3 years and I have one 5 year old from a previous relationship who DP treats as his own ( though he does see his dad).

I came off the injection in summer as it was making me fat and miserable, and last month we weren’t as careful as we should have been and we thought I was pregnant (possibly a CP) as several faint positives before AF.

Anyway DP now wants to try which is absolutely lovely and I’m so on board and excited.

I’ve been tracking my cycles as a contraceptive method so I know I’m due to ovulate tomorrow or the next day.

I would appreciate any advice and support as my little one was conceived on the pill so I didn’t get any of this excitement - but equally I don’t really know what I should and shouldn’t be doing.

@Sunrise321 I’ve been super snotty, high temp, no appetite just usual lergy symptoms and was in bed all last weekend but I’ve been weeing like a trooper! I did do a test around 10/11dpo but that was bfn.
TMI sorry but I went the loo earlier for no2 and afterwards I peed pinky/red blood and now nothing again. It’s so strange.
The female body hey.
Have you done a test at all? Or will you do one?

I had awful cramps yesterday and currently have super sharp left back pain but apart from that nothing else. Thinking I’ll do another test but if that’s negative I’m at a loss as to what’s going on

Sorry for being quiet, my energy for posting seems to come and go.

Came off the pill a little over a month ago and had a short, light bleed pretty much straight away, but no proper period since then. My boobs hurt for a while, then it stopped. Otherwise no real withdrawal symptoms.

Now I'm honestly wondering if I might be pregnant? My boobs started hurting again over the last few days and I no longer feel constantly freezing cold in the office anymore. Small things I know, but these were pretty much my only early pg symptoms last time. I tested on Sat morning and may have had a very faint positive after 3-4 mins, or I might have been seeing things! Am very aware that my symptoms may be in my head too.

Planning on testing again Wed or Thurs morn if the boob pain - figure if there really was a line on Sat it will be much stronger by then if all is going well. If boob pain stops then I won't bother unless still no period by Sat.

Such a struggle not to test! Every morning I nip to the loo asap to ditch fmu so I'm less tempted.

Would so love to be pregnant. Have decided TTC is annoyingly stressful (especially for poor DH whose modest sex drive is being pushed beyond its comfort zone - once a week would be about right for him!)

Hi everyone, I’m cycle 5, ttc #1. Based on my app I am 9dpo and due either 31/12 or 1/1. Ive not really had anything I could remotely spot as a symptom this month except a really strong pain in my belly button yesterday. It lasted for about a minute. Tried to convince myself it’s an implant sensation but honestly I have no idea if that’s even a thing.
I did a test today and obviously got BFN but couldn’t resist the urge. Going to try and not test for a couple more days now.
Anyone experienced the belly button feeling?

@Tryingforthefirst funnily enough I had a pain around my belly button last week before my bfp… you never know!

@Beck3115 ooh very exciting!! What did it feel like? I can’t really think of how to describe the pain that I had in my belly button
