Well… AF came and got me in a big way today so on to the next cycle anyone else TTC November 2021?

@Natalie2304 thank you I think I will or even wait another couple days if I can! No idea to be honest if I ovulated. Wish I’d been tracking properly now but that’s hindsight for you

Thank you @Essexnewbie, out for some dinner this evening so hope that’ll take my mind off things for at least a couple of hours if I’m lucky 🙈😅 hope you manage to do something nice to relax and think of something else for a little while too!

@Natalie2304 I don’t know why we do it to ourselves lol I guess it’s just something we all want so badly so it’s natural for us to obsess over it 🙈

@gvs97 I can completely understand why you feel all those mixed emotions, I would have had the exact same thought process as you wondering if it was leftover HCG. Let’s hope it’s not and it’s your bfp! I guess the only way to know is having to wait a few more days and see the line progress, but that’ll be a killer trying to wait 😩 keeping fingers crossed for you!! I know frer’s are really being slated at the moment for terrible indent lines, but it seems like your line has a bit of colour to it? I feel for you, it must be so confusing 😔 hopefully things become clearer over the next few days!

Thank you @SantiagoSister! The waiting is 100% the worst part but won't test again until earliest Monday/Tuesday so I can see if there is any line progression at all before calling the doctors. Definitely should not be getting a positive 4 weeks after an ERPC if it's not a new pregnancy and was told at the hospital to call if a home test was positive after 3 - obviously I didn't need to following the negative test after 2 weeks but I'm just very worried now the Waitrose test didn't pick something up that the FRER test is. Still have cramping too :( will keep you updated. Hope you are having a nice weekend away!

That sounds like a good idea @gvs97, that’ll give a good amount of time to see if the line comes up a bit darker by then. It must be worrying not knowing where you stand with this FRER, I don’t know what’s going on with them but just now a lady on another forum has just got a bad indent line on her FRER, it’s even pink! 😩 she dipped a Superdrug early test in the same wee and it’s come up stark white negative. It’s so confusing and upsetting, I’ve got some ready for my TWW but I’m worried about using them now, I don’t think I could cope with the upset of thinking I was pregnant for it to possibly only to an indent 😢 I wonder what’s going on with them, they used to be great tests. I look forward to your update, I hope your line just gets darker and darker! 🤞🏼 Having a lovely time away thank you, been for a nice dinner out and it took my mind off things for a few hours so that was lovely 😊 however I’ve just noticed some more EWCM now so back on the BDing this evening 😂🤞🏼

Hi, everyone, just wanted to jump in and say hi. I've been lurking on this thread for a while, it's nice to hear I'm not alone in this god awful tww. I was determined not to test until Mon/Tue, AF due on Mon, but caved and tested this afternoon, BFN, but used afternoon urine and quite early. Disappointed and I'm not convinced AF will be here any minute.

Welcome @FruityPop! I’ll be starting the TWW next weekend for the first time and I’m already dreading it. Could it still be too early to test and maybe it will change in a few days? This is my first month trying but I’ve read lots of cases of negative tests and then a whole week later the positive comes. Wishing you lots of luck!

@Essexnewbie I'm thinking it may be too early, 13 DPO but I didn't test in the morning. I guess I will just need to be patient for another few days.
I wish you lots of luck, I hope you have a good hobby to pass the time during the TWW, I definitely need one.

My headache from caffeine withdrawal has finally stopped, that was absolutely miserable! 3DPO today and feeling very exhausted and HOT! I know that the temperature rise is good and supposed to happen, but I feel like a proper oven, hopefully a baby oven with a bun in it! Also breaking out and having very sore nipples, but I know that is just from the progesterone rising.

@CrumchyLeafs FMU next time, not sure what I was thinking today, I just couldn't resist checking. I'm going to try and hold off until Monday now, don't think I could handle another BFN tomorrow. Hopefully AF doesn't show before Monday.

I hope you feel better soon and have that bun cooking away! How long have you been trying?

Period arrived this morning. Actually ok about it. I’ve not had a period since I stopped pill at the end of September so taking comfort that things are getting back to normal and ovulation did occur.

@FruityPop this is my first time properly trying, so I am trying not to be too disappointed if it doesn't work out right away since I know getting it first try is pretty rare. I have been obsessively reading everything about conception and pregnancy for months now tho, haha.

Having a bit of mild cramps today and I dreamt that I got my period and that there was blood everywhere! I had to rush immediately to the bathroom when I woke up and thankfully everything is still ok, not even spotting. Still worried about the cramps.

@Whoknew22 Maybe you are meant to have a Christmas miracle! Lots of baby dust for you!

@CrumchyLeafs awww thanks. Same as you for me, first month trying. It really can happen the first time though so good luck to you. Last time I fell using the good old pull out method of contraception 🤣🤣 so anything can really happen. Really didn’t realise how much went into this baby making. Xx

Sorry to hear AF came this morning for you @Whoknew22, I’m pleased you’re taking the positives from it though as it’s reassuring that your body is getting back to normal as you say. Maybe I’ll see you over on the December thread, it’s my first month trying too and would be so lucky to fall first time (although it did happen for me first time last time, was so lucky!) but anything can happen as you said! Hello, can I jump in please. First month TTC.
I have an 11 month old and I'm still currently breastfeeding so I'm sure will take me a while. Started using OPKs and ovulation was positive for 3 days. Not sure we did it at the right times though.

So congrats to all those with their BFP.

I wanted to join as when I was pregnant last time I had a MN group for all our due dates and we are still going strong. Lots of us have met and it was the best support ever during motherhood.

@Whoknew22 sorry about AF hun, sending baby dust for a little Christmas miracle 🧡 I'm not testing now until Tuesday, although I do think im out this month, think we DTD maybe 3x over my fertile window. Try harder next month then maybe OH will have an extra special gift under the tree the way I see it xx

Morning everyone. Feeling some really awful anxiety today that something will be wrong and I won’t ever conceive. Does anyone else every feel like this? I know it’s not helpful to worry but I swing from being really excited to being terrified it won’t ever happen. I’m only on my first month of TTC so god help me if this gets worse 😂 already really grateful for all the support on this thread. I hope we’ll all have an extra special Christmas present this year!!

@CrumchyLeafs I also have cramps today but no sign of AF as yet. I did expect her but pretty gutted.

@SantiagoSister I am only 4DPO (maybe 5DPO) so it is too early for implantation, but they are really very mild cramps, more like a little pressure. It could just be caused by progesterone or stuff "moving around" in there and settling into place. But you never know. Cervix is still really high, so I don't think AF is coming soon, it's not supposed to anyways for another 10 days!

@Essexnewbie I think it is normal to feel that way! I felt anxiety about getting pregnant way before I was ever ready to actually start trying. My Gynecologist really scared me when she gave me the PCO diagnosis and said it could take a long time to get pregnant, which is also why I decided not to wait until everything is "perfect" and just do it. It is really scary to think it might not happen, when you want kids really bad, I would feel awful if I couldn't have them. But thinking about this is counterproductive! Instead we must will it into existence!

@CrumchyLeafs thank you that does make me feel lots better. I don’t really have friends with babies or who are pregnant so I don’t really have many people to talk to (which is why I love this thread!) it’s also a bit awkward talking to people you do know who have babies. We will indeed manifest instead of worry! I’ll put some vibes into you universe for you too x

@Essexnewbie I think that all the time and I already have one child. I still worry that it won't work this time! This TWW plays havoc on your emotions. Positive minds bring positive outcomes so keep as optimistic as you can (I know it's hard at times!) won't I know 2 weeks seems a long time when you're in it but it really isn't that long and if it isn't your month then a Christmas baby would be just as amazing if not even more special 🥰

@Natalie2304 aw thank you, I genuinely teared up at your message! That’s a lovely thought. Interesting to know that the anxieties are there even for those who have already successfully conceived. Not that I want anyone else to be worried but it’s comforting that it’s not just me! Every time I get a negative thought I’m going to try and swap it for a positive one x

AF has just arrived for me, I kinda knew it would so I'm ok about it, I'll defo be in the December Ttc thread 😂 still holding hope for all you lovely ladies in the TWW, can't wait to see the BFP 🧡 if it's not your month this month, I'll continue the journey with you X

Aww @Essexnewbie I can’t tell you enough how much you sound just like me! I honestly worry about every little thing like that, my first month trying to conceive last time I had convinced myself I was infertile and was so sick with worry that it would never happen for me. And I fell first time trying! So I really didn’t have anything to worry about, but I was really convinced and worried so much. And now I’m TTC again, I have all the same fears reappearing, what it if never happens again, what if it takes us years, what if we can’t ever have a healthy baby etc.. so I completely understand where you’re coming from and you’re certainly not alone ❤️

Ahh I see @CrumchyLeafs, maybe a little too early for implantation just yet then. But hopefully it’s a sign of things happening in there, seeing as you still have a while before AF is due. Fingers crossed! Totally understand your worries about your PCOS potentially causing you problems, I have endometriosis so I’ve been told the same too. In fact I was told about 6 years ago to start having children while I still could, so this plays on my mind a lot now as I don’t know what’s going on in there and if things are still ok. I just wasn’t ready or in a position to have children then, hopefully I’ve not left it too late.

@SantiagoSister thanks lovely, it's so wierd because I've stopped now, sorry if Tmi but I had gone toilet before and when I wiped it looked for all the world my AF had arrived, I've had nothing since? I don't have cramps or anything, maybe it will come full force in the morning? I hate biology. 😂
