Looking for some positive vibes from others that have been through similar 💫I had a miscarriage in June, had my first period last month. Tracked ovulation and ttc straight away this month, feeling deflated as af has arrived right on time tonight 😢

@Bellesjp yes mines been about the same faintness for about 5 days now that's what was worrying me. Hopefully it will be negative soon I really don't want any procedure doing. Yes I don't think IV ever wanted to see a negative test as much as I do now. Did u notice if u ovulated before your period? My opks are quite dark but I'm guessing there picking up on the HCG still left. And how long did u get your period back? Glad your cycle has returned to normal! Sorry for all the questions no one tells you all this and your expected to just go through this on your own. It's really rubbish.

@Skl2021 don't apologise I was the same searching for answers! I had a day of high opk in between my tfmr and period but didn't get a peak, not sure if I missed it or didn't ovulate, we didn't try before my period as I wanted to wait for my new cycle anyway so not sure. My period came 5 weeks and a day after my tfmr but was only about 10 days after my high opk so I'm thinking I didn't ovulate or had short LP.

I thought maybe anything that was left must have came out when I had my period hence getting a bfn but won't ever know I guess!

@Bellesjp my opks were positive around ten days after my miscarriage but I thought that was too early to ovulate as I was still bleeding aswell. Now there stil dark but not as strong as they were so I'm thinking it's just picking up the HCG in my system still. So it's pointless me using them to test as it's a false positive. Guess I will wait until af shows up. The wait and not knowing when it will arrive is giving me anxiety 😩 how bad was your period after? IV read lots of stories saying there heavy and painfull. I had bad heavy periods anyway so hoping it's not worse.

Also TTC after MC.
I MC at 6 weeks early October, bled for about 10 days, got neg test at the hospital and cleared to start ttc again whenever my cycles starts back up.
Started getting lots of ewcm last week, first 2 days I got neg opks and theb the ewcm stopped, then came back super heavy and I got a faint line on the opk thurs and Fri, didn't test sat as I ran out and by the time I realised I was to busy to get to a shop!
But Friday the ovulation symptoms were going away anyway so hopefully thurs-fri was my peak.
Really wasn't expecting to ovulate so soon afterwards but DTD as much as we could when j started having symptoms.

I'm now about 5dpo, my app says to preg test in 7 days. But no predicted af date as I haven't had a period since the MC.
I'm also not getting my usual post ovulation/pre AF symptoms.
Usually my boobs are starting to get sore by now (was exact same when I got my bfp end of sept) but they're absolutely fine right now. However I have had a super servere acne breakout... I suffered with cystic acne as a teen and finally was able to get treatment when I was 23/24 and clearly not growing out of it.
The treatment worked great and ice had nothing but the odd spot here and there.
This weekend however I got about 12 massive angry cystic spots on my back, they look awful and they're SO painful.

I really hate the unknown of not knowing what going on and where in my cycle I am. I just want and to show up if she's going to before I got a bfn as I really don't want to see a neg test this soon after my loss.

@Skl2021 I know what you mean, the waiting is the worst part. I had to stop myself testing everyday as it was just making me feel worse. I tried to get myself as healthy as possible whilst I was waiting and getting all my vitamins in so I felt like I wasn't wasting time as such, so that I was as ready as I could be when I was ready to try again.

I was worried my period was going to be bad too but it was a weird one actually, started by spotting for 2 days which I never have, then 2 days of normal bleeding then spotted for about another 4 or 5 days, no pains or real clots which I was expecting!

Hey everyone, how are you all today? ❤️❤️
I’ve finally got AF! I’m stuck between being happy that things are getting back to normal and the obvious feelings that this throws up 😵‍💫
It’s been a super tough one… painful and exhausting! It’s completely depleted me!!
I’ve got an appointment for a scan with my fertility team, they were just waiting for CD1. And I had my blood tests fur folate or b12 deficiency, just waiting on results.
All happened on one day! A bit overwhelming tbh, I feel like I need to psych myself back up for all this, I just don’t have the energy 😩
It’s all just really getting me again at the moment I think, im completely not over it 😞 does it ever get any easier?? 😩😩

Hi @Kelb79 that's good news that AF finally showed up, and that the balls rolling with your fertility team. I know the feeling of everything being overwhelming though, everything is such a worry when you've had a bad experience. I have found the thought of trying again worse than now I've started again, I hope things feel a bit easier for you soon.

I'm 7dpo today, not testing until Saturday.. how is everyone doing?

Hey @Kelb79 it does feel like a relief at the same time doesn't it. I had in my head i was going to conceive my first one of trying in october so when i didn't it upset me! I find it crazy that it happens to so many people but its just so difficult to come to terms with. My best friend had a baby yesterday so i'm also telling myself i'm okay and my time will come just like yours will too! ❤️

@Bellesjp i am just behind you, i think i could be 5dpo today at the latest don't dare test anytime soon because I don't wanna disappoint myself again! Crossing my fingers for you! 😀

I’m CD8 today, the start of my usual fertile window….
I’m not noticing any significant OV symptoms but I’m LH testing so hopefully will see a peak.
How was it for everyone else?? Did your cycles change after MC? This is my first full cycle and I just don’t know what to expect 🤔🤔

Also, anyone have really strong smelling pee afterwards??? It’s a little bit better than it was - there was a point it was pretty bad!! 😳😳 and I’ve got no signs of a UTI otter than that. My HCG has flatlined so it’s defo not pregnancy hormones.

I had my blood tests back….. nothing!!!
Total head f*ck!! I got told after the first blood test that I’ve got large blood cells which would be down to folate or B12 deficiency .. it made total sense!! So many of the symptoms tied in and it gave me a possible answer to the infertility (2 years TTC before conceiving) and the MC…. Then the second test to pinpoint which it is said I’m clear!
I’m tempted to get private bloods done, it doesn’t make sense 😩😩😩

Hey ladies,
Im CD25 today and looks like i ovulated late around cd23 - waiting for my ovusense to confirm that though.
I normally ov around cd19 so im a bit late this cycle but its my first since the MC.
Been ttc for 12 months now and its taking its toll.
Blood come back that my iron is rather low but when you google it, it says that shouldnt cause fertility issues so thats not very helpful. Been prescribed iron tablets now though

Got my first LH surge since my MC yesterday…. It was the biggest surge I’ve actually ever seen! (Maybe that’s good?? 🤷🏼‍♀️)
It’s not the two lines that I really want to see obviously but I’m actually really happy!
I feel oddly hopeful with it 🤷🏼‍♀️
We’ve BD’d the last night 2 days and will go for a couple more 🤪
I know then I’ll be into the TWW and then AF will no doubt rear her ugly head and I’ll remember just how much I hate TTC 😩
But for now I’m gonna try to hold onto the positive mental attitude 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Appointment with fertility team tomorrow for baseline scan….
Here we go again!!! 😵‍💫
Baby dust abs much love to you all xxxxxx

@Beck208 my test looks the same this morning, 10 DPO, I mc'd in Sept. You can just about make out the line in your pic. Sorry about your still born, that must have been awful, MC is hard enough. Flowers

Have you tested since?

Beck208 · 15/11/2021 11:27

@Tina12745 @Irishfarmer sorry for your losses to, it's been really hard as she was so wanted, we want to get pregnant as soon as, took us 2 year to conceive, so I haven't got my hopes up, and mine looks like evap line to this morning, must be a batch of dodgy tests 🙄

@Kelb79 I've also got my LH peak today! I've had a horrendous cold this month that has delayed ovulation by a few days. I'm just so happy I'm still in with a chance. I thought it might be anovulatory this month!

I just wish I could have this happy, confident ovulation time emotion all month. The creeping progesterone sadness in the tww is so much harder post MC

Report
Irishfarmer · 15/11/2021 16:02

@LaForza101 is that what it is, progesterone? I was in floods a few times last thurs/ fri. DH said I seemed very down which isn't really like me

Report
LaForza101 · 15/11/2021 16:13

@Irishfarmer I think that's the cause of normal PMS but my emotions in the later half of my cycle seem so much worse post MC. I don't know whether it is worth talking to a GP about it but I can't face going to all that effort getting an appointment for them to just say "your hormones are still settling down".

I think if I get to 6 months post MC without a pregnancy and still feel like my cycle isn't quite right I'll make an appointment

Report
Irishfarmer · 15/11/2021 16:21

@LaForza101 more than likely they will just say hormones, although probably isn't really anything they can give/ do. I am hoping it is a very early sign, I am 10DPO and had a faint positive this morning. Going to test again tomorrow.

LaForza101 · 15/11/2021 16:39

I've got my fingers crossed for you @LaForza101, that sounds really promising Smile

@Beck208 no it's negative. The test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line. Keep testing and it should get darker 🤞 x
